Today is October 1st at around 8:52pm I finished shopping, I shop at Home Depot almost three times a week spending anywhere between 200 up to 1500 per trip. I’ve done this for the majority of the year, as I am doing many constructions at the moment. Unfortunately today I had a really close to terrible experience. I usually take My time shopping to not have to come back for the day, and I was with my group of 7 guys shopping. We had a constant flurry of workers asking us if we needed help, until the point where it was harassment. At one point nick, whilst I was in the cleaning aisle looking for degreaser comes up to me and asks me what am I looking for or what am I stealing. Unfortunately this as someone that has no necessity to steal nor take from others finds this not only offensive but demeaning. We spent a total of around 600 today, but if I can get reached out I can prove the amount I have spent at Home Depot this whole year. I have been loyal to Home Depot since I started construction for over a decade and I’ve never been so discriminated against in my life, I didn’t find it necessary for three police vehicles to show up for a couple guys that are just shopping and paying for their items, as well as having a total of 7 Home Depot workers waiting at the door. Too whomever this corresponds to I hope there is some reaching out. Thank you to officer Oviatt of the Martinez PD for not even hesitating on saying we did nothing wrong.

Home Depot probably has what you need. Staff are more plentiful than they used to be, and usually there is someone knowledgeable about your issues.

Cashier shorted me 10 bucks on a 65 dollar deal today. My fault for not looking but how hard is it to count out 34 bucks from a hundred? Tried using the self checkout but it doesn't take hundreds evidently?

I went to A few Home Depots and they didn’t have the tiles that I was looking for in stock. I went to this Home Depot in Martinez because I was in the area. These two nice ladies, that was working there referred me to a gentleman named Pete, He was nice, knowledgeable and he knew what I was looking for. It was only five left! He made my day! I’ve been looking for these tiles for months. Pete is the Man! If you’re ever in Home Depot in Martinez, ask for Pete! Thanks Pete.

I was really shocked at how clean this store was the first time I visited. I've been going to Hercules Home Depot, and that place is always filthy. I recently bought 150 pounds of "all purpose gravel" from this store after buying the first 50 pounds at Hercules, and I could not believe the difference. There was at least 25 pounds of gravel spilled on the floor at Hercules with many bags that were broken open, but at this store it was incredibly clean; and I had no problems loading three bags into the cart while keeping my hands clean.

I really like this Home Depot. It is a good size and a good selection of materials. Seems more clean and organized than other similar stores. It is also located in a nice city, very low crime so there is much less concern about your car getting broken into (like Oakland/Emeryville locations). If I’m in the area and I need some hardware or building materials, I’m coming here!

Wide aisles and friendly staff. Tip: look up goods you are looking for, you'll get the aisle number and location - very handy.

Came in to get some keys cut tonight. Asked an employee at a register for directions to the key kiosk. She told me end of aisle 10. She immediately broadcast that someone should meet me there. Shortly thereafter, she came to assist me. On crutches. Should have gotten her name. And she knew the key machine, inside out. Dog lover. Great customer service.

To the manager of this Home Depot, you are doing a great job! I go out of my way to shop here! As a general contractor with 26 years in the industry I go to Home Depot on an almost daily basis, and I can say this is the best Home Depot in all of the Bay Area. The only one where things are organized, stocked and clean and with polite and knowledgeable workers that can actually help you find what you need. Keep up the good work, we do notice the difference!

Jasmine & Keith! I wanted to redo my moms front yard for her birthday. Weedcloth, staples and brown tan bark. I “hired” a friends son with a truck, to help load and unload 30 bags. Jasmine gave the best customer service. Keith helped get the 30 bags loaded up. I went back the next day to buy more bark, Keith came out on his lunch break and helped out again. Being a strong woman and shopping at Home improvement stores is a daunting task, I’m grateful for the great experience I had with the two superstars.

I came in to purchase some sand bags and Quick Dams as our pump wasn't working and I wanted to prevent flooding to our home. I asked one of the reps, Jasmine S, working in an aisle all by herself if there were any Quick Dams left. She not only tried searching on her phone for inventories, asked her colleague (who wasn't at all helpful), and even went as far as to walk to the front of the depot to check in with customer service for us. There were a boxful of Quick Dams left, and thanks to Jasmine S, we were able to get our hands on some. Top-notch customer service. Home Depot found a gem when they hired Jasmine S. Thank you!

I came here to purchase certain items, but when I went to check out the prices didn't match. I get it, but there has to be someone to do that. The holiday items were easily found. Everything else is I guess where it's supposed to be? It does help to look up the item and send it to your phone to get the location. It would help of there was a map of the store somewhere. The person working there was helpful and showed me where the item I was looking for was.

Find what you want for the repair you need! Nice ambient at this location, everyone is so cheerful early in the morning and ready to help you find what you're looking for. Maybe just my luck but every time I ask an employee where to find what I'm looking for, they all seem very knowledgeable on where's everything located. Great customer service!

Been going to this store for years. All employees are very friendly and helpful. This time of year there are some new hires, but if they don't know the answer, they will get the answer from someone else.

I got the most informative advice on patching a hole in my ceiling from Troy in lumber. He's experienced in handy work and gives step-by-step instructions on how to get the job done. Kuddos Troy for your patience with this novice diyer

This is the best home Depot in the vicinity of pleasant Hill/ Walnut Creek. The Concord store is small and very oddly organized and not well stocked. By comparison, Martinez store is bigger conventionally organized like the rest of home Depot through the country and generally seems to have stock.

The employees at this location are very helpful. We were in the lumber department wondering how we were going to get a piece of wood out of a stack that was still tied down (they recently brought it in). An employee walked by an proactively asked if we needed anything which was a nice change because I feel like you’re invisible at the Concord location. Even the cashier was friendly and made us excited for the new saw we were purchasing. Also there was a great greeter at the front who was ready with a Tupperware with small dog treats. Definitely won my dachshund over too! :)

As Home Depot's go this is a better one. Its and old OSH store. So its smaller and may not have everything a full sized store would have as inventory. That said it's much nicer, cleaner than the more industrial versions. Layout is a little different but the employees are much more helpful. Parking lit is a zoo and the curb pick up can be filled with just people going into store.

We love stopping by this store in the evening after work to pick up what we need. Staff is helpful and the store is both well stocked and cleaned.

😠 Nobody would think that the worst Walmart is in Martinez. Check the dates on the food here for sure. It'll never look like a clean normal functioning Walmart. Also surprised there is no Super Walmart in the area.
