Not only did I get the wrong sandwich, that sorry excuse for a gluten free, cardboard sausage patty egg ensemble was sloppier than any sloppy joe I've eaten. I tried to eat the mistake but it crumbled and left a greasy egg stain all over my shirt. most the time it is good at Proper but I am thoroughly disappointed.

The store was really clean. The staff was super friendly. Even though the entree I wanted was sold out, it was okay because they were so nice about it. When I asked about how long the entrees would keep as I was thinking about buying them for a friend who is having surgery, the staff member so helpful.

Stopped in for a quick morning grab and go while waiting for the T-Shuttle across the street. I ordered the Croissant Sandwich with Eggs and Cheese and it was everything I imaged. The Croissant was toasted with melted cheese and a poached egg where the yolk beautifully poured out ..it was such a delight on a cold San Francisco morning.

Clean, well lit space. Excellent food options. Love that they have ovens to heat up food on the spot before leaving. Staff was smiling and pleasant.

The Ahi Tuna melt was awesome! However one star down for the size and the price. I could have a used a little more. Also, it was a little odd that they heated it after it was in the fridge.

Interesting selection of salads and pre made sandwiches, wraps and burritos. They have breakfast items in the morning.

My new favorite breakfast and lunch spot!

You cannot go wrong at Proper food. You will find fresh and quality options regardless what you pick. A little pricey, but they maintain high quality. This is a relatively newer branch than the one at spear street. They also have a outside seating area where you can enjoy yoyr lunch when the westher is good. Some good cookie options to incase you want some sweet.

Great grab & go lunch spot with a variety of healthy options. They can also heat up your food for you at the register!
