Went to Lolinda's to celebrate our son's birthday and the atmosphere was nice however in my opinion it's like the space was over packed. I felt like everyone was in your face. Table seating was squeezed and not really big people friendly. We need arm space to eat lol. We were seated in a booth facing other tables which was uncomfortable and just trying to enjoy conversations it's hard because my neck hurts just having to turn right to talk to my son and his girlfriend. Imagine being at the movies and four of you sitting in the back row of the theater watching a movie. Exactly!!! Staff was busy but service was ok. They charge for everything. Dessert was alright. I don't think it's worth what we paid for because you can get the same steak at Outback or Texas Roadhouse, the only difference is what it was served on which the presentation was beautiful. The dining room was really dim which I've never understood why.... when I would prefer to be able to look at my food while enjoying it. (You get what I mean). The bill was crazy for a party of four, our son spent almost $600... but I appreciated the experience but wouldn't go there again.

Large parties with fixed menu are asked to sign a contract. If anyone backs out within 3 days of the reservation, you will be charged the full headcount, although they still serve all portions. Beautiful atmosphere. Parking is very scarce. Upstairs bathroom is less crowded. For the price you get a good amount of food. We were absolutely stuffed afterwards. OK dishes - Chimichurri Cheese Dip, Asado Mixto, Hanger Steak Yummy dishes - Mushroom Empanada, Fish Ceviche, Roasted Cauliflower, Halibut, Churros Nonexistent dish - Seasonal Peppers. When we asked the server what happened to it, he played it off and said the Asado Mixto comes with the exact same peppers. So we missed out on one item. Had we known we obviously would have selected a different side. He ended up bringing us more of the shishito peppers.

just nowNEW My husband and I went here Friday night for a date night and new experience and we were pleasantly surprised. It reminded of us of a much smaller version of am Argentinian steakhouse we dined at once in Sedona. The food, cocktails, service and ambiance were good. I really enjoyed the empenadas and the flavor of the meat. The chimichurri sauce was sublime.

We ate at Lolinda for my dad’s birthday, and boy did we eat well. We are from the east coast visiting and I’ve had my fair share of good meats. We had to make a reservation for the 5 of us on a Friday night and it was PACKED. Our waitress was absolutely lovely, always checked up on us and didn’t hurry us in any way. What we ordered: - ceviche mixto - AMAZING, came with these amazing corn fritters (our waitress gave us 3 more since the dish came with 5). - pulpo - delicious, had this kind of tomatoey flavor, very different from the Greek-style octopus I usually eat - hueso asado - I would skip this next time, at least to share for 5 people. We got a good solid 3 bites out of the bone marrow. It wasn’t a flavorful as I was expecting but maybe that’s just bone marrow. - asado mixto - great selection of lots of different meats. The short rib was especially yummy. I loved the potatoes the most of all things! - ojo de bife - omg YUM what a giant piece of delicious steak…so tender and juicy. A little extra salt and chimichurri made it magnificent. - rabada (ox tail) - my favorite of the meats. The oxtail was SOOO tender and the sauce was to die for. - rescoldo (side dish) - oh gosh this was super yummy. Lots of delicious veggies that went so well with all the meat. Since it was my dads birthday they gave us a free slice of tres leches cake, and we also ordered the flourless chocolate cake. Both were TO DIE FOR - the chocolate cake didn’t have that nasty thickness I’m sometimes used to with flourless cake - it was so moist and soft. I’m still dreaming about them. Overall, highly recommend this place for a fancy meal or celebration.

Best meal I ever had in San Francisco. I had bone marrow and Lengua and it was delicious! Best chocolate cake in the city too!!! i’m going to miss this place when I go back to New York.

We had dinner yesterday (a Sunday night). Place was packed, wouldn’t have gotten in without a reservation. We had the bone marrow, the Filet Mignon and the 18oz Rib eye. Definitely do NOT recommend the bone marrow, it’s all bone and almost no marrow (the marrow part is deceptively shallow - not even 3 small spoons of marrow in it) The Filet Mignon was not bad - I’ve had better, and was expecting a better cut tbh. I’m less ambivalent about the Rib Eye. It’s what I order on every dinner place that has it, so I have a good reference to grade it. This rib eye was CHARRED - and as a result, it was mostly a medium when I ordered a medium rare. The cut was a lot tougher too - not a single bite was not chewy. And the server (probably the head server) had so many tables we didn’t even get a chance to send it back. Also, as you can see from the pics, they give BREAD (very dry, hard bread) and very little butter on top. No comfort sides such as mashed potatoes and veggies exist - so it’s all depends on the steak, which was very average tbh (Quality reminded me of Outback Steakhouse honestly). Even the meager seasoning was nothing special. Bottom line - I won’t visit again, there are FAR better places at the same price point literally in walking distance.

Upscale, rustic ambient atmosphere good for sharing in large and small groups. Pork chop was extremely tender and the bone marrow + beef tartar were excpetional appetizers.

Highly recommend this spot. I ordered the: 1. Ceviche mixto 2. Empanadas de hongo 3. Alvarhino (Portuguese white wine) The ceviche was amazing. The seafood was so fresh and the taste and texture of the corn fritter elevated the dish to another level. The empanada had the perfect crisp, and the filling was so flavorful. It comes with a roasted pepper aioli but I suggest asking for some of their hot sauce as well. The service was great. I ate at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and attentive which made my experience that much better.

Delicious food, especially empanadas, and stakes. But sides were great too. Very nice and elevated cocktails, wonderful service. I like the place ambience but could be a bit brighter, we had to use phone flash light to see what was actually on the plate.

My second visit and it is consistently good. The flavors are amazing. Most dishes have a bite to them… yes spicy but so good. Get there early and have a cocktail at the bar before dinner. The halibut ceviche is a must. The shrimp skewers come with spicy, pickled, red onions… yum! Edgy, trendy patrons. Great service.

What a fun experience. Everything was amazing. Here's what we ordered: - empanada de hongo (amazing) - papas (I've been spoiled and I have enjoyed eating patatas bravas so this was delicious but would have been better with an aioli) - bife de chorizo (amazing!) - chuleta pork chop (the steak really upstaged this dish. After eating the steak I was not a huge fan of this dish. The pork chop was delicious just not as good as the steak) - churros con chocolate (great!) Parking wasn't too bad for us. We didn't have to wait too long in line. It was a great experience overall.

My dining experience here was somewhat of a mix bag. First, the ambiance and service make coming here truly memorable. We initially started with a Pan de Queso, which is similar to a Colombian Pandebono. The honey butter though was a perfect match. We then ordered the Ceviche - the fried corn was unique. However, the seasoning on the dish was a little flat for my taste. The same goes for the Vacio Flank Steak - it was flavorless. The last dish we had was the Pulpo served with Spanish octopus, which was a little chewy. The flavor was nice though. Overall, this establishment serves "small plates" that can be shared.

Definitely need a reservation for weekends. Most of the dishes are good, but only a few are exceptional. Main hall was quite noisy and lively, and while the lighting is low and decor is good and place is pretty clean, it could probably be a bit noisy to some. Tables don’t have the greatest privacy—at least on the first floor where we sat. There’s no free bread for sharing, only those that come with certain appetizer dishes. Their bread is a bit dry too. Highly recommend: beef lengua. It came as a big chunk of beef tongue, not sliced or anything. It was the right amount of tenderness and “flakiness”, and had none of the tongue smell when treated not correctly. The vegetables that are paired with it are super fresh and cooked to the right amount. Filet mignon: not the best out there that I’ve had but it’s pretty good. Tastes good but won’t order again for the price point: bone marrow (bone was huge, but there was only too little marrow) New York steak: ours came a little too fat at the ends. It’s just what a steak is supposed to taste like, nothing unique here. I will say I like the grill. Tastes okay and can find elsewhere: octopus, shrimps, deserts. The octopus is cooked really nicely but the portion is small. The shrimps are just shrimps…and don’t really justify almost $20 for five shrimps. Desserts are classic ones that you can find elsewhere. They’re not too sweet so it was easy to eat them after a full meal, but they’re not unique. Yuca fries (I just can’t justify the price for like six pieces of fries that taste bland). Overall we spent about $250 for 6 people without coming out too full. It’s fairly reasonable and while some dishes are not as good as expected, others make my eyes light up. So it really just depends on what you get.

Incredible food and atmosphere with a fantastic server while we were there. He really helped us figure out how many plates would suit our party since we had never been there before and didn't want to over or under order for the group. Definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food or a new experience!

This place in my view has some of the best steaks in San Francisco. The kitchen speaks for itself and definitely try different things and mix it up in a tapas style dining. The parrilla grill makes things stand out with the wood smoke that penetrates the meat. That said the service was not as great as I would expect from the price range , of this restaurant. No one checked in throughout the meal nor asked if anything was needed. Unfortunate miss that could have made a more well rounded experience.

We enjoyed this restaurant very much! We ordered empanadas for starter which were excellent. Then the mix girl and the New York steak was outstanding. Beside the great food, service was amazing. We also got the food quite fast. Very recommended

Food was okay for the price you pay. Empanadas were good but oily. Bone marrow was decent. Churro felt very doughy so we couldn't finish it. Steak doesn't come with any sides and lacked flavors. We got eggplant to go with our steak but that also didn't have any flavor. Overall food was very bland

A mission institution! Great steaks in a more lively setting than a classic steakhouse. Presentation is a little more gaucho style but the quality, service, and drinks are all excellent.

This place is excellent! The food was superb - the rib eye, pork chop and ceviche specially. Great ambiance, service, and energy. Eric makes the best cocktails! Fully recommend.

We were dining for my sisters 42nd birthday. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. Everyone from the Hostess, Server, and Management team were on top of it. Dustin was our server and he was AMAZING!!!! He laughed and joked with us, told us how beautiful we were and took our pictures (hostess too!). Had awesome food and drink recommendations. Dustin made my sisters bday dinner a perfect ending to her birthday festivities! Get Dustin as your server y’all!!! (He’s hilarious too!) Thank me later!

Came here on NYE for the first time for dinner. Didn't look like much outside, but inside was pretty nice. We were seated upstairs for our 10:45 pm reservation. It was pretty dark upstairs but it was fine...well not for pics! We ordered croquetas to start. They tasted ok, but they were cold. For an entree the wife ordered the empenadas de honga and brocollini to share. I ordered the NY steak dish. The empenadas were good and the broccolini was good, but cold. The steak was pretty good w/chimichurri sauce although it also could've been a bit warmer. The drinks were also pretty good. Shortly after I got my steak our waitress came around and said it was last call for drinks, which was semi annoying, but I ordered another drink and received it fairly quickly. The wife loves churros, so I also placed an order for some, to which the waitress said ok the kitchen is still open, but we never got them and the wife didn't want to bother. It's an ok place and the food would probably be better if it was warm.

Really delicious!! The asada was amazing. Great ambiance and service as well. Do try out the cauliflower, it was simply the tastiest veggie dish ever.
