A bit of a tourist trap but daughter really wanted to go in. Extremely expensive for what you get and they sell it as a combo that includes a dirty old mirror maze but then won't sell a version without it, so not really an offer. A few interesting exhibits (mainly the things made out of toothpicks / matchsticks) but otherwise everything else is just a fibreglass prop with an information plaque attached. Also for the price you'd think they could sweep up in the entrance now and again.

I do not understand some of these bad reviews. What did you think this place was? I love Ripley's Believe It or Not! I think this was actually the 3rd one I've visited so far and none of them ever disappoint. It has everything you could ever want. From the cool, to the weird and even the scary. I cannot wait to find another and see what kind of strange things I'll get to observe. Plus, the cost of admission is not that crazy which is nice for a mainstream place like this.

It was okay. Very over priced for what you get. I've been to a few others and this one just seemed to lack something. Staff wasn't really friendly at the counter either. We had trouble with the kiosk you buy tickets at and they just didn't seem to care at all.

Our family loved it (8, 9, 44 and 46 year-olds). There is lots to see in high quality interactive sets. So much fun stuff! The shadow wall, the walk-through kaleidoscope, the two-way mirror, Mirror maze at the end. It would be great if they had a Ripley's Museum part of the museum where it had historical artifacts/collectibles/memorabilia old merch and Ripley's related and a gift/souvenir shop!

OMG This PLACE WAS SO COOL. I have been wanting to go for awhile and when I finally visited it was a must see it was like $30 to get in and sooooo worth it. They had a mirror maze and so many cool exhibits. If you are in San Francisco please see it

I purchased tickets online as a combo for ripleys and the wax museum which was 80$ for 2 tickets. There was no wait time and it wasn't crowded at all. There was so many different exhibits and interactive activities. My favorite parts were the walk thru kaleidoscope and the cave you walk thru when your looking at things the shrunken head. Not something I would do twice, but it was cool.

It was just okay. Most of the displays looked really old and worn out. Many of the interactive displays weren’t working. But the spinning tunnel and the mirror maze were great fun. Still, not worth the admission cost.

Worth a visit. Some very interesting exhibits, especially the interactive ones which we did not photograph.

We paid $46 per person (there was 4 of us which came to like $184) for 4 activities. Ripley's, a mirror maze, a 3D zombie killing movie and a 7D flying movie. The maze is at Ripley's but the other 2 are at Pier 39. The 8D movie is not worth it, it causes some motion sickness (and I don't get that often). Kids had fun though and that was rhe point!

What a fun place to visit while out in the city! We bought the combo tickets which included entrance to the wax museum. They had a lot of amazingly weird things. We learned a lot while enjoying ourselves. I would definitely recommend this place.

Tons of crazy and amazing things to check out and learn about. Very creepy. My 8 year old was fascinated with the lizard man.

Came with with a friend while visiting San Francisco and it definitely didn’t disappoint! I love learning cool new things and here I learned so many! There’s a lot of really unique exhibits and rare things i didn’t even think would exist! I love all the interactive displays, those were def my fav! I wish they had the Alcatraz Items here instead of the Orlando location… idk just makes sense since this one is so close to Alcatraz. Definitely check out the mirror maze too!! It wasn’t too busy when we went and we happened to get a tour from the manager which was also really neat! Def worth a visit!

It is Expensive, but if you combine with the wax museum next door they offer a combo ticket to bring the price down a bit. I would recommend this place, but its like a once in a lifetime or every 10+ years kind of place. It is fun and can do the whole thing in probably around 2ish hours.

As a kid I have always wanted to go inside a Ripley believe it or not. I'm so happy that I could do this as an adult and share this experience with my daughter. We both had a good time and were amazed at all the cool things in here. We spent about an hour and half here. Well worth it. Got a good deal on groupon.

The 3D mirror maze is so fun! It was our favorite part. My kids really enjoy it. The employees are very friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

Love these unique, yet touristy, museums. This Ripleys contained some of the older favorites, new items, and kid oriented interaction spots. Take your time going thru and read everything. Something fascinating for everyone I think. Sadly no gift shop. Senior discount if you ask.

Way too much fun. Be careful of the large optical illusion.

The mirror maze is amazing! Highly recommend. You can also learn many strange fun facts and arts in the museum.

Be careful: I took a coupon that would save me and my family a few bucks. The ticket sales-lady told me that they did NOT accept coupons. She did not even apologized and had a "take it or leave it" attitude. Kids pay full price as well, but they don't tell you that. I would skip the museum anyway since it was not worth the $ 30 + price of admission

A fun activity to do with a partner or as a family, there were interactive displays that were fun along the way, we got a pass that included the wax museum which was extremely fun and also a bit creepy because of how life like they were. Definitely worth the trip and the money

Fun spot, recommend going during the week wasn’t that busy and got to enjoy all the exhibits. Also a fun mirror maze at the end that was included in the ticket price!

Great fun for the family. Friendly staff. Some of the exhibits haven't aged as well as others.
