This was so much fun!!! We went during a weekday so it was like hectic, which gave us more room for ourselves. It takes time to get the pictures exactly how you want, but worth the effort because it's a really fun and interactive bonding experience. Great for a date night or even just out with friends! The front desk and photographer are super helpful and friendly! They really made some great suggestions for our photos to help them be the best they can be!!! We will definitely be back!

If I could give 6 stars - I would. Supper fun few hours that we spent taking fun pictures and creating long term memory was worth every penny! Huge Thank you! to Victoriia Tsymbal for showing us around, assisting and navigating us through the museum! Loved "Broken Dishes" Therapy!

The art work in this museum is amazing! The place is not that big. It can get crowded but when we came it was ok. This is a great activity for the whole family or a “couple thing.” They has a variety of art work but I think it’s not enough! We thought we were going to be there at least an hour but it was like 30-40 mins tops. It really does give that 3D effect if you stand at the right spot. To get the 3D effect you have to follow and give instructions otherwise it won’t work! We had a really good time but they seemed short staffed. We ordered our tickets ahead of time and the lady could not find my ticket reservation. Thank goodness she still let us in. We would’ve had the VIP though. Kudos to the staff for their patience! It is pricey for a short time frame. But fun is guaranteed!!! Tip: we were having so much fun and I forgot, if you go on IG the boomerang effect would be an awesome add to this 3D. I’ll have to try it next time I come!!!

This is the 2nd 3D art Museum I've been to. The other one was in Tokyo. I do enjoy this and for our family (2 kids, 2 adults) it was $70. Pricey, but we had fun.

Great experience for family with kids. About 40 paintings on the wall. Takes about a minute a picture but you may take your time.

Fisherman's Wharf nestled in between the shops there. Walk through and visit snap photos of you and others in funny/realistic/fantasy scenes. Get creative with the wall art and pose and position yourself or friends/family members to get a great shot that makes them appear 3-Dimensional and popping off the painting. Artists from all over the world painted on walls to make each scene picture ready. All you need is a few friends in position and a photographer and boom you got a new profile pic for social media! Oh, at the end, blow off some steam and break some real plates! Throw them at a wall and feel the stress melt away!! Friendly staff! Locker free with key to hold items while visiting museum, tripod rental, and VIP packages available. Great experience!

Definitely a great experience...trips your mind a little bit. Definitely worth the experience. You sometimes see illusions things on Instagram and tiktok well they have most all of them here for you to see and experience in person. Was a great time and definitely will go back

Thank you so much Teo for helping my boyfriend and I for our first time here. It was so much fun and cool to see all of the illusions. We had a great time and appreciate your help on letting us know what to look for to take great pictures! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for something to do in Fisherman’s Wharf.

Our family of four recently visited the Museum of 3D Illusions. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The steep entry fee felt more like a tourist trap than a fair price for a cultural experience. The museum was moderately crowded, which slightly hindered our engagement with the exhibits. However, it was the exhibits themselves that left us underwhelmed. They seemed designed more for social media appeal than educational enrichment. To be fair, some visitors may find the museum fascinating. But from our family’s perspective, the experience wasn't worth the cost or time spent. I recommend potential visitors review other experiences before deciding to visit the Museum of 3D Illusions.

Fun to take a lot of interesting pictures. Would be nice to have employees around to help customers understand how to get the best result out of the pictures. They had one employee around to take pictures for you with their camera but only do they can charge you for it.

I went here for a solo adventure. It was nice as the place has tripod rentals. For as cool as it is, it was not too busy, and I had plenty of time to set up my shots and take multiple photos at a station. There are so many neat scenes and props to capture the moments the way you envision them. I had a blast and now have so many funny and neat photos to share!

This is place is so fun and awesome!! The girls at the desk were so nice and helpful (miricle and nariah). They helped us with getting our tripod set up and everything, also showed us how to😅. It was a great place for pictures to posts. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed it!!

Interesting place. We had some good memories. We felt the price was a bit high. Staff is super friendly.

Most photos are totally fun. A few seemed too odd to figure out poses for (like ant man). Definitely rent the tripod (for $10) if you want multiple people in the pictures.

I expected so much more from this museum, after reading reviews from other locations. To my surprise, I was disappointed. This location was small and lacked images. We were in and out within 20 minutes. I am so happy they were running a Tuesday special. I would have been upset if I had paid full price for entry. If other locations appear to be like this, I don't ever need to visit another Museum of 3D Illusions. The two stars are for unlimited access to the museum up until closing time. Not that I needed it, but it was nice to know.

This was a fun experiential stop for our family that didn’t involve the typical eating and shopping at Fisherman’s Wharf.

I wont give it any star because of the poor staff . I entered inside the premises at 7:15 sharp and they said they are closed while the door was open and on doors and on their website/google it says closing time 8pm. They did not bother asking to make a quick trip . Very un professional.

Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The kids had an absolute thrill of a day out, the area and set up is just fab. There was a lovely Irish girl working called Mary, and we could not have dealt with a more helpful worker. She directed us around and even helped us find our way home! Would definitely go again.

I would give 0 stars. The pictures were fun but the staff is atrocious. You’d think that for what they charge they’d be able to hire friendly and professional staff instead of bums off the street. Do not recommend.

We visiting the museum this Summer and enjoyed every second of the experience. My husband was the one who suggested it and I was unsure at first because I don't love photos as much as he does but my mind was quickly changed!! We had so much fun and had a lovely staff member from Ireland helping us out, Róisín who made the experience easy going and funny for us. I'll definitely recommend this place to fellow travellers and hope to visit on my next trip to San Fran again.

Good concept - but its wasted without some sort of crowd control. The ideal spots for taking a picture is right in the way of another photographer. It will not take more than 3-4 mins for a group of four in each room to take all the shots that one desires. But with sooo many folks, its difficult to understand who has been waiting the longest, who is next in line etc. Will NOT recommend, unless there are more rules around crowd control. Its $60 down the drain for our group of 4.

I recently visited the Museum of 3D Illusions in San Francisco and was thoroughly impressed. The museum was full of mind-bending optical illusions that were both entertaining and educational. The exhibits were well-executed, showcasing the latest in 3D technology. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing helpful explanations and insights into the illusions. The museum was well-maintained and accessible, making it easy to navigate and enjoy the exhibits. Overall, I would highly recommend the Museum of 3D Illusions for anyone looking for a fun and educational experience.

My experience at this museum of illusions was spectacular. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We got a great reception from Mary Buckley who sold us our tickets at the front desk. It was great to see a friendly face :) I will definitely be recommending this museum to friends.

I visited today , Had an amazing time. The lady up front miracle helped me and my husband with the tripods because we don’t know how to use them 😅 she was very helpful and clear on instructions. Overall the museum was nice I'm amazed on how everything is hand painted. The museum it self is kind of small wish it was bigger but overall 10/10 would recommend to my family and friends! Also the tickets are cheaper online rather then in person it’s pricey

Severely enjoyed my experience at 3D Illusions, San Francisco. Was new to the area and was recommended by a friend to check out this hot spot. I’m from Ireland and met a lovely Irish girl named Mary. She made the whole experience 10 times better than I ever imagined. Definitely something I will be doing again! Brilliant!

I recently visited this attraction after hearing great reviews about it from my friends. Sarah the photographer was very helpful and took some really awesome pictures of us! She was the most mannerly young woman I have ever come across, she made my day!x

Visited the museum earlier this week and it was such great fun!! The photographer, Roisin who had a fabulous Irish accent, was super helpful and thanks to her we got some wonderful photos. Would definitely visit again when back in San Fran because of the great staff and friendly atmosphere 😊

This is a tourist trap, first off it's not a museum, it's basically two shops joined together with murals on the walls that create some sort of 3D depth perspective when photographed, the murals are not great, it's ridiculously expensive specially when compared to proper museums like the SFMOMA. You will regret visiting it.
