I Always loved good take out food. So this time we dined in and while it tasted as good, the food was too cold; both soups and dumplings were luke warm. Not to mention molded butter 😅 but that likely just supply issue.

Highly recommend this sweet Russian bakery! They have incredible rye bread freshly baked, and piroshki with mushrooms are super tasty. And be sure to try the restaurant food items too, the вареники with jam, and the борщ are both delicious!

Very nice little place! It was hoppin' busy when we went, had to wait maybe 10 minutes in line but got a table quickly, fast service! It was my first time having Russian food, and I really enjoyed it! The peroshki from the bakery were so good! We had beef and cheddar, potato, and mushroom styles. The mushroom was soo mushroom forward, yum yum! Borscht was delicious! Very dill herb forward, nice stewed cabbage and tomato was still a bit of bite, very nice texture. Came with a really nice house bread, medium brown similar to a rye. We got the boiled dumplings, potato filling, for non-Russian familiar similar to pierogi but boiled. They were good! Fried onion on top and sour cream was delicious. The only thing I knock it for is the fried items were pretty old and sitting around, weren't heated up at all. The flavors were great but texture and taste was more gummy and oily. We brought some home to heat up and it was much better roasted a bit.

A very dangerous place if you like good pastries and Russian classics! What a wonderful place to enjoy very good homemade food. Sweet or savory! Very friendly service and a nice outdoor seating area ( no indoor seating available). Tucked away in a residential area is always busy.

Great food, Spacious outdoor seating, little cute indoor just for ordering the food, a little counter inside if you prefer to drink inside Cons: very difficult to find parking, no indoor seating

Did not expect to find Russian food in SF, happy I did find this place because the food was great, service nice and the prices are very okay for the amount of food we got. High recommend the pelmeni and the chicken soup!

Ate here lunch so I wasn’t able to enjoy their breakfast menu. The menu has many options and bakery. I got the avocado toast and honey cake. Both delicious and great for not wanting a heavy meal. My friends got the dumpling and steak sandwich, both loved it.

Here lies a quaint no nonsense bakery that cuts the frills and unnecessary chitchat and gets you exactly what you want and when you need it. Super quick and efficient staff but helpful when needed. I tried a lot of items from the menu and the piroshki might have been my favorite - deep fried guilty goodness but packs in all the flavor in the ground beef. Had the blinchikis for dine in and they were really good. I would've preferred to have a sweet and savory option though as 2 sweet ones were a lot. Overall a pleasant stay and I wish I could go back to try more of their baked goods!

The cutest little Cafe I've had the privilege of dining at! This isn't an establishment that will scream at you with all its glitz and glam, but it'll lure you in with its largely Russian inspired fare such as blinchiki, borscht, vatrushka, honey cakes and a host of other goodies! Their coffee is pretty decent too. They have outdoor only seating so if it's rainy or windy, bundle up, because this little establishment is definitely worth a visit!!

The most refreshing meal I have had in a long time. I hadn’t had Russian food at a restaurant before and it was superb. Reasonable prices, lovely atmosphere and charming servers. I recommend sitting on the patio and enjoying your Pelmeni in the sun. It’s a must go back place for me!

Honey cake is quite delicious! Plenty of options for vegetarian food - including Russian style dumplings. I really wanted to have the Napoleon cake but someone right before us picked up all of them unfortunately. I didn't try everything but overall the vibe and taste of the bakery products was great. I will post about the Napoleon cake when I visit next.

Bakery Russian style looked so charming from inside and out but when i went to counter and asked if anything was gluten free she was very kurt and dismissive with her answer. I took a paper menu to study it and probably besides some flour used as thickening agent a few items on the menu were gluten free. I had the cabbage rolls which were very average and small portion given the price. The macroons were quite good but lacked delicacy. It's a popular place but the rude response and average food didn't not impress me

Found out about this cafe through Eater and it did not disappoint. It's a short walk from the Golden Gate park. We arrived around 11am on a weekday and by 12pm it was packed with locals and tourists. The ladies that work there are extremely nice and recommended us to try to the pirogies which lived up to the hype. The Babushka’s Chicken Soup and coffee are to die for as well. Would high recommend for the small community vibes!

I've had many bowls of borscht, and this one was phenomenal! Everything we got was supremely delicious and the kvas tasted crisp and homemade. Incredibly nice and friendly service.

This cafe is an absolute delight! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goods. The pastries and cakes are not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone 🥐☕️

Definitely get the honey cake w/ a big big cup of Earl Grey. It’s a heavenly combo. The strawberry and cream turnover was also so fresh and yummy. One of my favorite bakeries that we have tried in the city.

Cinderella is such a cute spot to come to. We got the Pelmeni and roasted pepper sandwich. With a cappuccino and almond sponge cake. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the sponge cake was quite dry. We also purchased the Lite Russian Rye which was great. Using the restroom here is an experience as well, you get to walk through the bakery!

This has been an establishment in the inner Richmond for a long time, known for their Russian inspired baked goods. We got the piroshiki and though we know Gorgonzola is strong cheese, it definitely overwhelms everything else to the point that you can’t taste anything else. The honey cake was actually my favorite as it wasn’t too sweet. The strawberry croissant was just ok, nothing to write home about in terms of croissant texture nor flavor. 3 items came out to about $20 which is standard nowadays but they do have a few other items I want to come back and try, hopefully raise the stars on this review.

This place is great! They have a lot of great options for food, which are much broader than a typical bakery menu. The drinks are much broader, too. You can definitely count on getting a full meal here if you want. The staff have always been especially helpful, making recommendations and explaining different menu items, etc. They will bring your food out to you and bus your table, or you can take care of it yourself if you want. The seating is outside, partially covered, and really a very nice environment. This is not in the part of San Francisco where you have deal with random people approaching your table outside, so the atmosphere is great all around.

My first time here! After trying their delicious beef stroganoff with mashed potatoes, Solianka soup and Kompot drink, I went back in and got a bunch of piroshkis, meat pies and sweet desserts to go! Everything was so soooo good!! I was here on a Tuesday at 3:00 in the afternoon, there was a short line in front of me, but it moved fast. As soon as I grabbed a table, the line had grown! This place is definitely popular and an asset to this Inner Richmond neighborhood. So glad I came. 😍

Delicious! We went to this place for brunch and weren't disappointed. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the croissant, because it was dry, most likely because it lacked butter. But we came there for the dumplings and the normal ones had the same delicious flavour as the ones I tried in Russia. The chicken ones werent as tasty in comparison but maybe they were healthier. The desert ones with cherry are amazing. They have a sitting space outside which is great. Overal, I will go back to this place again for another amazing brunch and recommend that you do the same.

Amazing pastry and food. Tried the honey cake, blueberry brioche, meat pie, pelmeni, meat blintz, and cream puff. Can't decide which one I liked the most. Very limited seating though. Not sure if this is how it normally is since I went on a labor day weekend.
