Very beautiful Park, very nice amenities such as slides and playthings... Beautiful surroundings, there's the Asian Art museum directly across the street, next to it is the San Fransisco Public Library, across the way there is, also in view, the beautiful City Hall... All have very nice architecture.. there is a beautiful lot to lay out in and get sun, relax, have a picnic, play catch or tag etc... Only downside is that it is in close proximity to one of San Fransisco more "unique" neighborhoods... Just one block over you will find an open air drug market which means the area is pretty heavily trafficed by drug addicts, homeless people and sometimes dangerous mentally ill people. However, this is San Fransisco so craziness is never far

Great playground, clean bathrooms, picnic tables, and plenty of water filling stations. You can see Coit Tower and City Hall from here. There isn't much shade, so be careful on the stone slides on a hot day. They also have an unusual, but fun, swing for older children. I would say this playground is more appropriate for 5+ years old.

A little bit smaller than most but it is nice and clean and the bathrooms are very nice but I don't really like how the bathrooms are each it's own single unit but then a common area sink with only 1 working soap dispenser. I also don't like that the soccer fields didn't have a gate to get in and keep my lil one from trying to run out on the field during a busy adult game. 😳😬

Very nice park unfortunately you cannot do nothing with the homeless in San Francisco other than that we had a good time

Really great park / playground for your 3+ yo kiddo. The older ones would probably like the fields and courts.

Went there with my son's class after the SF symphony and they had a great time. It's also got a rec center, waterfountains and restrooms . My son has been here before with a friend and likes it. I saw a lot for kids to do here and there are a few picnic tables so you can bring a lunch there too. There was a lady with a small dog but I don't know how friendly the staff is to them.

Lovely, nice place to take your kids or family to play at playground or watch local kids play soccer games. Little restaurants and stores for goodies like ice cream to eat while playing are within walking distance. It closes around 10pm I believe, open around day light. I consider it safe for kids, not really any weirdos around or drug activities happening. I recommend for kids to check out the nice playground.💯🦠👩‍🦼🤸🏼‍♀️🤾🏼‍♀️

Two tennis courts here that are walk-ons. It does get busy sometimes but I get lucky sometimes and am able to get a court immediately.

Beautiful park and basketball courts are nice and lit up. Lights are automatic and do go off at closing time which was 10pm I believe. Plenty of street parking and overall nice area.

There is so much to climb on here. If you want to tire the kids out and enjoy the view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the beach definitely come here. There is a little beach across the way for the kids and dogs to play at. It does get windy over there so bring a sweatshirt. There are food trucks. We didn't try them though. Definitely worth the trip across the bay.

Surroundings area may give a sketchy vibe at first (at least it did when we went to drop off a second grader) but the fenced in area is spectacular and felt safer than it initially appeared - looking forward to bringing the kindergartner next time so they can play a while
