San Francisco Free Clinic

Medical clinic

😠 DO NOT go there. It’s not a clinic. It is a training center and connects to ucsf. The doctors don’t have a certificate. All they need to collect your medical information. It is completely scam. I already reported this place to health department. People often mention clinic, free, doctors, staff,

6 weeks ago I got a eye infection and went to the free clinic for help. I've been living abroad in Taiwan from 2014-2016 and thus do not have any health insurance in the USA. I think I got a bad case of eye infection from Sundance Kabuki theater in Japantown on that $6 movie Tuesday night! I was shedding tears watching La La Land and probably accidentally contaminated the tissue from wiping my tears but put it down in the cup holder (pretty dirty if you think about it). Dumb me. It was bad but luckily free clinic helped me by the 2nd day. Shouts out to the doctors and nurses over at the California street free clinic they were wonderful! I googled for free clinics in San Francisco and they came up. I made a phone call over explaining my situation and they were able to take me in on short notice literally I was seen by the caring staff with in 1 hour of calling!! Everyone was helpful and I was looked over by not 1 but THREE different doctors who wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be too bad. They gave me some prescription grade eye drops and wanted me back the very next day to make sure it didn't get worse. If it was, they were going to send me to an optometrist right away for even more hardcore treatment. Luckily the eye drop helped and the swelling was already not as bad the next morning and it simply got better by the day. I was fully healed with in a week. I'm extremely grateful for their help and no doubt they are going great work. I would have imagine the free clinic would have older clientele but most of the patients I saw were actually all very young in their 20's and 30's. I was actually the older one at 40+ of age.

This is a great experience to receive the vaccination from this clinic, Shella, Alex and Daulex seem to be friendly and they are really helpful and responsive in serving people's needs. They are full of love and caring, I would highly recommended people to visit their clinic.

The staff was all very friendly and made me feel super comfortable! I was in and out in 45 minutes, and felt like they had taken the time to answer all my questions. The doctor was very kind and took time to listen, address my concerns, and make sure I h DeSerio’s the treatment plan. They scheduled me a follow up super easily. Great experience and SO grateful for the care.

Desk staff are nice but doctors you will never get to see. They have nurses that are training and they will use you to try out there random medication. I came for my symptom twice, I knew which medication I need to take, but the doctor didn't want to give it and insisted on taking some other mediation which didn't help. Same story on the second visit when I came back after the first medication didn't work. Don't waste your time here, they are training and will not solve your problem.

The doctors and staff behind the scenes were great, but can’t believe they had a lady at the front desk who ruined my whole experience. Upon finishing my visit, I was asked to provide approval for my previous medical records. Per doing that, I grabbed a mask(that were on the front desk, open to first come) that potentially could be used in the future since most people had been using them as protection from germs. After me grabbing “1” mask, the lady acted like I stole something precious from her and I could since the energy shift as she removed the rest of the masks as I was in timeout or if I had took an insane amount. For the life of me, I could not understand what had happened, so I asked her open-ended questions about the situation, and she couldn’t respond with anything applicable. Before making assumptions, I tried asking the proper questions, but with the answers she provided, all I could think was she was racist based off her reaction and what initially happened over something so frivolous. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable, that I could not finish filling out the rest of the paperwork and left in anguish. This is supposed to be a place of refugee when it comes to internal issues a person could be having, you have no idea what people are suffering with, don’t ever make a customer/client/patient feel such a way that you make them feel worse than they did before coming..

I made this account in school, so do forgive the name! I'm Brittney :) This place was perfect. Kind staff, great service and honestly a very comfortable environment! Usually I'd be a bit more anxious in social areas, no less one I'm not used to, but this place makes you feel at home. I also 100% stand for and love the fact that this place helps train future doctors and nurses while also helping people in need. You guys are all amazing- thank you for what you do. After two years of no medical care besides planned parenthood, this was a breath of fresh air. I now have free appointments with a dietitian, a therapist AND a follow up appointment here all thanks to the work that these people do. Thank you.

I’ve been going here for years, and they are always excellent. This is an expensive city, so the service that this clinic provides cannot be understated. Wonderful place to receive care.

IT İS A EXPERIMENT CENTER!!! Do not sign any paperwork before you read it. It’s not a clinic. They collect your medical data, background, your family medical data, your ancestry, your origin, your nationality, your color, your race, your grandfather, and grandmother,‘s nationality, where do your parents live now, they have been in United States? Are they alive? Do they pass away? ETC… They even trying to get your fingerprint but you don’t have to, but it says on the paperwork do not sign it. Of course it connects to UCSF.

😠 This is the first time we’re denied medical services at an urgent care center. The front desk did not even want to hear us when we tried to explain what the symptoms of my sick fiancé were. 👍👍 For being an app, Circle Medical works wonderfully. There are of course limitations to it being an app - everything has to be done through the app, so if you're someone who gets frustrated by that, it isn't for you. That aside, as someone who has a unique health insurance situation, Circle Medical i...
