I have been coming here for 6 months and I am loving the experience. I just signed up for another year. Staff is super friendly, workouts exhausting and the equipment is good quality. Don't expect fancy machines, this gym is class based so most of the equipment are heavy bags, TRX straps, kettle bells, med balls and dumbbells. Even though there are a lot of people in class during peak hours, the place is big and I have always had enough space for my own. Classes are at your own pace, so you can pretty much make them as intense as you want. It's an easy way to push your limits and have such a nice and fun workout. I personally try to do four days of TRX and I already felt in shape in one month. I definitely recommend it.

HitFit has been my favorite gym in SF. They offer intense HIIT and boxing workouts, month long bootcamps for some serious conditioning. For anyone looking to level up their boxing technique, Leo's classes are a must. I would also jump at every chance to work out with Angela, Cole or Simon! The gym has been modified to ensure social distancing and frequent cleaning for safe workouts during the pandemic.

My favorite gym in the city! I have been consistently coming to this gym for the last 4 years, and it is still the best workout in the city. Come here if you want to get stronger, learn proper form, and work out with people who are dedicated to working hard (while still having fun!) each class. My favorite instructor here is Trish - she kicks my butt every time and her HIIT class is never boring! I am also a big fan of Cole's class. Highly recommend this gym!

I’m a coach out of this gym and have been for about 4 years. I am so happy to be a part of HIT Fit. The coach’s and staff are very friendly and extremely experienced in what they do. They have a wide variety of classes that of course welcome all skill levels. Aside from that the gym offers great amenities like towel services, bathrooms with showers equipped with shampoo, soap and other toiletries should you not have any. There is also plenty of street parking around the gym (of course it is San Francisco so give yourself a little time to find a spot, but there is a lot). I recommend HIT Fit to all my friends and family!

Love coming to this gym! It's bigger than the Sutter location and has a weight rack. - Great high intensity interval training (HIIT) & boxing classes! - The trainers are excellent and passionate about their classes. Many different teaching styles for you to choose from. - The workouts are dynamic, never get boring, and will give you a full body workout. - The gym is clean with towel service. I highly recommend it, the owner Simon and his team of trainers are awesome people!

This part of the review is specifically about Coach Troy. Troy has a really engaging and practical style of teaching. Troy is always entertaining so his classes never have a dull moment. He turned me from a casual fan of boxing into a real fan. The gym itself is really nice, and the staff was always super helpful. And it’s walkable from Bart. I’ve been to a handful of boxing gyms and this was by far the best one I’ve been at.

Never in my life did I think I’d like something like HitFit. The workouts make Barry’s and SoulCycle look like a nursery playground. The exercises are intense and really push you. And on top of it all I’m a runner so I’m definitely not built for this. But the trainers are really incredible. Great coaches, lots of variety of workouts. I’ve been going to Angela’s classes for months and am hooked. She’s an amazing trainer and her classes are equal parts fun and tough. I recommend hits it, especially if you think you’re the kind of person who wouldn’t like these kinda of workouts.

Hit Fit is a great gym. I’ve been taking boxing classes taught by Troy King, an experienced pro fighter. Troy’s classes are a great workout and he goes out of his way show proper technique to ensure you’re reinforcing good habits.

You know that slump that hits midweek? This gym has helped me get through that! Angela’s Tuesday class gives me life. Classes here are different every time- but always challenging and the trainers help you kick your own butt by giving you adjustments and encouragement the whole time. Love this place.

Due to my schedule I can’t get here as often as I’d like but Troy’s boxing classes on Saturday are awesome. He blends the perfect amount of knowledge, sarcasm/humor, and work into each class. Sean’s HIIT class on Saturday is also the best way to wake up—intensity and positivity! Everyone that works and attends classes here is friendly and supportive. All around a great vibe!

Excellent workout in a unpretentious space. Everyone who works at the gym is super friendly and welcoming. Classes are modifiable for all fitness levels. Their HIIT classes offer such a variety you’re sure to get a full body workout leaving you sore every time. There is a great sense of community within the studio which is really important to me. Every instructor brings their own style and creativity. You can literally go to class every day of the week and get a totally different workout each time. Coming from an avid fitness studio attendee, this workout is what you want to reach that next level of fitness!

I LOVE this gym. I’ve been a HITFIT member for almost three years now, and the community I’ve built is far beyond what I can describe with words. There are two locations, one in the Mission and one in Nob Hill. Both are amazing and I love both equally. The instructors, the quality of the classes, and the environment are what keeps me coming back. Even on bad days, my mood is lifted after taking a class. Rebecca, the wonderful human that works the front desk, makes my day EVERYDAY. She is AMAZING and makes me feel soooo welcomed. The relationships you get to build with the instructors are also incredible. They know you by name, they are so engaging, they correct your form, and they only want to help you become a better version of yourself!

I love HIT Fit! Angela is absolutely AMAZING. She is an incredible instructor. I love her positive energy and her creative workouts . Her classes are always fun, challenging and never repetitive. I look forward to her classes every week, they are the perfect way to help me destress and unwind. Would highly recommend everyone to take her class. Definitely wont regret it :)

Seriously awesome gym! I mostly work out with Troy here doing individual/small group boxing sessions - I leave feeling exhausted but awesome and invigorated at the same time. I've made a lot of progress since starting to work with Troy (other gyms/places I box have even commented) and would highly recommend these sessions! I've also taken a few boxing classes at both locations and they are great as well, some of my favorite in the city.

I've been to many boxing gyms around the bay area looking for what fits my needs best and found the facility, atmosphere and the trainers to be the best of all I've seen. I train primarily with Troy King and have had great results! He pushes you hard while being a great motivator and can find your skills and hone them in. If your goal is weight loss and just overall fitness he has great workouts and nutritional advice as well. I've leaned out and lost 10lbs since I started working out under Troy and couldn't be happier with the results. Do yourself a favor and glove up and get to work at Hit Fit SF with Troy King!

😐 My first visit in an American Bouldering Gym and a rather disappointing one. Not sure about the 4.8 Stars. I think the gym invests more time in the wrong places. The showers, restrooms and changing areas are great, there is even Shampoo in the showers. One negative thing is, that you can't usw the l...

😠 Sharing as a PSA for anyone considering joining this Planet Fitness location. While at the gym, the lock on my locker was cut and my belongings were stolen. Within 30 minutes, someone tried to charge thousands of dollars on my stolen credit card. I know that theft can happen, but there was no respon...

👍👍 Love this gym! It’s clean, big locker rooms, lots of space on the workout floor and a pool. The pool is a little shallow but it’s on the second floor, so, can’t complain too much.

😠 Although the equipment in this gym allows you to "get the job done" and they do validated garage parking for $6, these are the ONLY positives I can highlight about this location.
