😐 Very clean studio with friendly staff. Unfortunately I was a beginner with neck injuries and didn't feel comfortable with how fast paced it was. By the time I had worked out an appropriate alternative to the exercise being shouted (to protect my neck) we were already moving on to the next exercise.... People often mention workout, time, class,

Very clean studio with friendly staff. Unfortunately I was a beginner with neck injuries and didn't feel comfortable with how fast paced it was. By the time I had worked out an appropriate alternative to the exercise being shouted (to protect my neck) we were already moving on to the next exercise. It's obviously a very popular workout style but maybe not good for people with injuries.

I just hit my second Barry's class ever here and I'm sold. Anthony Cabrera's class absolutely rocked and he convinced me that Barry's is worth the premium. Also, I parked in the structure around the corner on Pierce st for $3 for 1 hour. Hope you all enjoy your workout 💪

Great workout, super energy. The only negative is the hygienic standard, you change between floor and treadmill - if you are unlucky like I was and the other person sweats a lot and doesn't clean in between changes than you have to clean yourself constantly after another person. It was pretty disgusting. Given the relatively high prices I had expected higher hygienic standards...

Fun workout, but far too advanced for me. Instructors don't have time to properly demonstrate form and don't balance muscle group targeting carefully for someone less experienced in weight training such as myself. I'd probably enjoy this more if I knew proper form ahead of time and supplimented the workout by better stretching antagonist muscle groups.

An incredible workout with great beats! Pros: insane workout, easy to see gains, charismatic instructors, like minded people who are committed as you are Cons: high injury risk, $$$$, listening to high volume club beats has to be your thing The big temptation with Barry’s is that you try to do everything full speed. You HAVE to pace yourself or you WILL injure yourself. Also you won’t have careful instruction on the right form, etc. When you get the hang of this and find your rhythm you get the addiction. There is virtually no other group studio format that will hammer you like this. Finally just like everything else not all instructors are created equal. You will notice which ones constantly have full waitlists and take the time to coordinate their music so that you can at least enjoy getting killed lol. Highly recommended!

The most enjoyable workout class. Effective way to get lean with the mix of strength, cardio, and music that gets you amped. Every instructor has a slightly different style so take a few to see what you like. Some do more HIIT exercises on the floor whereas others more lifting. Personally think Chris, Brian, Nick, Vanessa, Laura G., Tommy K., and Tommy S. are the best as they focus more on building strength with intense tread speeds. Staff super friendly. Smoothies dank. Showers spacious. High energy vibe.

Recently visited and had a very poor experience (e.g., empty class, missing amenities like shampoo). Didn't feel like the studio met the bar of others I've been to, which is a bummer given the price point.

I was in town visiting from NY. I did the 6AM class. Everyone who worked here was so nice, they explained me through the process and made sure my first class was enjoyable! Special shout-out to the woman at the front desk who was super accommodating and made me the Barry’s Brunch smoothie!

Great Barry's! Staff are awesome. Lots of space in the studio and in between stations.

No doubt the best workout in SF! Barry's has become a lifestyle for me providing a healthy balance that allows for my favorite splurges, pizza and vino! Each instructor is incredibly talented and unique in their own way providing a workout that leaves you feeling satisfied with each minute and dollar invested. If you haven't tried it, you're truly missing out. Come on out and get your sweat on!

Mixed feelings after getting a double Floor spot twice (meaning no running which is the unique feature here). One time, it was a waste of time. One time, it was a great focused workout and you noticed a concept. It still is the same workout twice and feels like they should just have more treadmills or a better concept for the double floor people. I gave feedback, got a free class. Very friendly!

Visiting from Denver and was lucky enough to be a guest today. Really a nice way to get a solid workout in, and the instructor Georgia is outstanding.
