    Jae is an incredible trainer. I worked out with him for about a year and made real progress toward my goals thanks to his encouragement, enthusiasm, and expertise. He nails all the basics – well-rounded knowledge of training and kinesiology, great motivator, extensive experience. What makes him special is how he goes above and beyond. 1) Highly adaptable: we started in training in 2021 and had to work around COVID surges. We trained fully virtual to start, then in person at his Mission gym, and in a hybrid model with me in the gym and him virtual. Across every configuration I got the same high quality of workout and attention. When I injured my shoulder at one point (don’t worry, not during one of his sessions) he deftly transitioned me to a new routine to avoid further strain and rebuild strength. 2) Great communicator: Jae really listens and is so observant during sessions. He took the time to understand my goals, help me identify some obstacles and then built a plan to keep me on track. I really felt the benefit of a 1:1 trainer in our sessions. He’s also a great conversationalist when his workout isn’t leaving you gasping for breath. 3) Passionate: Jae walks the walk. He truly cares about fitness and his clients. He’s also so open with his knowledge that I came away from our sessions with great education in strength training and my own passion for fitness. If you’re looking for an incredible trainer, accountability partner and champion for your goals, I highly recommend working with Jae.

    I have been training with Griffin and the J+K Fitness team for over 5 years, both in person and with virtual training. They have a passion for fitness, with a focus on tailoring to each individual client in a smart, efficient and effective way. As a busy professional this is exactly what I need — I come away from each session with a workout that perfectly fits my body’s needs that day, without the need for me to plan or think about anything. The hybrid model is also fantastic for my lifestyle, as my fitness regime is not affected by travel. I can easily take a virtual session from anywhere. This hybrid flexibility highlights the expertise of Griffin and the J+K team. They are able to come up with creative, targeted workouts on the fly in unusual situations; for instance, I’ve had great workouts in parks, my living room, and my sister’s basement.

    I've been training with Benny since January, and she’s fantastic! I've been consistently losing weight and have noticeable strength gains. I love her approach to training, and I’ve been introduced to creative exercises I wasn't even aware of. The gym facility is great, and I plan to continue working toward my goals here!

    Great trainers! I worked with a couple of different trainers for about 6 months. They helped me correct some muscle imbalances, build strength, and set a strong fitness foundation that I can build on. Incredibly knowledgeable and intentional. Would recommend and would go again.

    Best personal training you could get in SF hands down. Jae and his team offer a top notch studio with all the gear and equipment you would expect: squat racks, great weights, rogue bikes, boxing bags, etc. The trainers also offer a range of programs designed for your goals. Griff is hyper focused on mobility so that you are able to build up strength safely without getting hurt. Christina is a pro at powerlifting or olympic weightlifting training. I came in at 175 lbs and 30% body fat and am now closing 160 Ibs and 20% body fat! Very happy to have found this nugget in the mission.

    Training at J+K Fitness has been such a wonderful experience - I’ve been working with Francisco virtually for several months and have seen a big improvement in not just my physique but overall quality of life. It’s been super helpful to have both a place to train and the option for virtual sessions, as I’m often traveling out of town and the flexibility helps to me on track. The studio is equipped with top notch machines and all of the trainers are super friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a personal trainer.

    I took a chance with J+K fitness after seeing people's before and after photos on the website, and glad I did. I've been training with Griff and Benny and seeing great results and learning a lot! They listen to your goals and cater the program to fit your needs. I've been doing both in person and remote sessions over zoom in the gym and even dabbled with remote at home with minimal equipment when weather was atrocious. I was hesitant about the remote sessions at first but they actually turned out great! Would def recommend to anyone thinking about working with a trainer for the first time or for those looking to expand on an already solid fitness base.

    Fantastic trainers and a great vibe. Worked with Francisco for over 3 months it was a amazing experience !! He has the latest and greatest equipment including high tech metabolism measuring and burning systems to get you to your goals. Plus he is extremely knowledgeable and functional. Probably one of the best trainers i have worked with !! This means a lot coming from someone who has lived in 7 cities in the last 8 yrs in US and worked with a different trainer everywhere.

    I've been working out at J+K for almost a year and this is best personal training experience I've ever had. I started out with an assessment with Jae who not only designed a program for me but checks in regularly to provide nutritional advice as well as to ensure that I'm keeping up with my fitness goals. Joe has the patience of a saint and is extremely knowledgeable .I've seen substantial gains in my stamina, flexibility and and saw a marked difference in my body after just a few months. I love the 1:1 personal attention and that there are never more than a few people working out at any time in the space. Joe created a tailored program specifically to target my problem areas -taking into account my knee and back issues and incorporated exercises that strengthened those areas to avoid further injury If you're looking for a great training experience with an amazing team check out J+K fitness- I can't rave about them enough!

    I've been going to this fitness studio for the last four months and have seen a significant drop in my weight while grown my understanding of my own body and knowledge of physical training thanks to the solid set of trainers at J K. My experience with all the trainers have been fantastic especially with my recent experience with Lee. He's personable, knowledgeable and will push you to ensure you're getting the most out the session. I've also had a very positive experience with Jae, the owner of the studio who provides constant guidance on nutrition and words of encouragement, and Joe, who's extremely knowledgeable about dieting and exercise. I highly recommend this studio if you're looking for a personal trainer.

    I started training with Jae a few years ago to get in shape for my wedding. Haven't left since. The studio provides a comfortable environment for one on one sessions, with never more than a few other clients in the space. In addition to Jae, trainers Griffin and Joe provide focused attention to every workout regiment. They are great at adapting the training to a person's pace and goals, and will push you as much as you want to be pushed. Whether you're trying to look like Mr. T, or just trying to remember what life was like before Dad bod, J+K will help you realize the transformation you're after. Highly recommend.

    I've been working out with Jae, Griffin and Joe for 9 months, and I've seen a remarkable improvement in my strength and endurance since I started. It's by far the best personal training experience I've had, and I'm really, really happy with my body transformation! When you train with any of the guys here, you have 100% of their attention. Each session is tailored to your goal and with plenty of variety from one workout to the next. They accommodate your schedule, and they also provide nutritional advice and recommendations on supplements. The studio itself is not huge, but it's always clean and the equipment is well-maintained. If you're looking for a great personal training experience, check out J+F Fitness Studio. I can't recommend J+K Fitness Studio enough!!!

    I've been training at J+K Fitness for nearly a year now and have loved my experience! My trainer Joe strikes the perfect balance of pushing me harder but keeping me motivated throughout my workout. Joe is also very knowledgeable when it comes to training with a prior injury. When I first started working out at J+K, I had some issues with my knees. Joe thoughtfully designed a workout plan to strengthen them and now my issues have completely disappeared. Jae, the owner, is friendly and really flexible when it comes to scheduling. The gym has both in-person and virtual training options and is very clean/respectful of COVID protocols. Highly recommend to anyone looking to uplevel their fitness!

    I had an excellent time training at j+k fitness studio. From the outset, logistics were very well handled to account for my schedule by both Jae and Shaina. As for the training itself, Shaina was very meticulous in crafting a holistic programme in line with my fitness goals, challenging me to push my limits while also taking care to be particularly attentive towards the neck and back issues I had outlined to her. In just a matter of a few short weeks I could see very tangible improvements in my overall fitness. I could not recommend Shaina and j+k more highly!

    The team and facilities at J+K fitness studio is outstanding. Jae has done an amazing job of delivering amazing service and results to his clients, and has also hired and trained a team of dedicated professionals who deliver results to their clients. Jae has worked with me on both rehabilitation strategies when I have had injuries, as well as when I am focused on making strength gains. He is the best trainer I have ever worked with. His expertise, professionalism and personality are great fuel to help his clients to reach their goals.

    I have been training with Griffin for a few months now and he has been amazing. He is constantly supporting me and pushing me to achieve my goals. I have had a history of muscle weakness and he thoughtfully planned the workouts to help me strengthen those muscles.

    I've had a really great experience training with Shaina S. for the past 3 months! In this short amount of time, I've made a lot of progress and learned the foundations to train confidently on my own. I appreciated how open she was to changing goals and trying out different things. Her sessions were tough, creative, and fun. The space was really clean and I never saw more than one other client training at the same time. Jae, the owner, is super knowledgable will help with the initial consultation and match you to a trainer based on your goals. Highly recommend!
