πŸ‘πŸ‘ Pretty cool beach, a random dog showed up and followed us around. I don't know who's dog this is, neither did the local we asked. We were just told that he is just the local dog. All I know is that he is named Jim. Go to this beach. People often mention beach, tide,

Nice beach. Tidepools are fun. Great for kids to explore. The poison ivy isn't an issue just stay out of the bushes(duh). Waves aren't too bad just like any beach or body of water you have to watch your kids.

Great hidden beach that wasn't crowded! Clean porta potties, spacious parking lot, short we'll maintained trail to beach. Definitely no pretty agates on beach, but lots of neat shells and cool rocks. At low tide the tide pools are amazing and there's a good half mile or so of beach to wander and explore.

Get here at low tide- you’ll be amazed to see the sea slugs, also known as nudibranches. Just squat down pretty much anywhere and stare for a while and you’re guaranteed some treasures. If you’re looking for starfish, be patient- there weren’t a ton when I went but if you go out far enough, they’ll be there. Not too crowded!

Do not go, full of poison ivy, the tide will take you out to sea. Worst beach in California...

Beautiful beach. Lots of tidepools to look at and not a lot of people. Not sure why some of the other reviews are so negative. I wasn't expecting anything special and was blown away by how nice it was. There wasn't any poison oak that I saw either. The main path is paved and well away from bushes so unless you go hiking through the hills it really shouldn't be an issue.

I'll rate any beach a 10 since there's ocean involved. Seriously, though, this is a great little beach. It's small, and during high tide there's not a lot of beach left, but it's really pretty and off the beaten path. I recommend it!

Check the tide charts, cuz the beach utterly disappears at high tide. Otherwise a an easy stair climb straight down onto the sand, with rocky tidepools immediately upon landing & stretching far to both sides!

Check the tide tables before you go. Small parking space with good bathrooms no starfish or much life in the tide pools.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Tennessee valley trail is a cool hike to enjoy nature and dip your toes in the ocean all at the same time. This trail is about 1.75 miles one way to the beach but is absolutely worth it. Beach lovers would love the views and variety of beach sections and the rocks around. Small stones, smaller stone...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Dog friendly to the point that I call it, "Dog Beach." My favorite place to go walk the beach in search of beach glass. Don't expect to lay out here. Watch it if you bring food. Parking on street is for one hour with limited spaces. No bathroom.
