Amazing place. All of their bakery goods looked delish. Morning combo $5( pastry + coffee ) is such a great deal. I got a mango custard danish, And they put fresh mango on top of the danish (for just $3 of a pastry???) it tastes fresh and not overly sweet which I love~ the lady there was being really nice. Will come back.

Tried the jalapeno cheddar we see bread and it was tasty! Service was polite and prompt :)

I was on the hunt for pretzel bread which this bakery doesn’t offer but I did walk away with a half loaf of wheat bread and a small danish. Very friendly and quick service! The displays are a bit cluttered and chaotic looking, but you’ll find something delicious, that’s for sure!

Excelente bakery. I can said everything we tried it was delicious. We tried the fig and nut loaf bread, cheese Danish, Japanese sandwiches, and curry and meat donut balls. All excellent. Very busy bakery. The ladies are very attentive with the customers needs, although it was crazy busy .

I always get the Turkey Cobb salad. It's fresh, affordable and a nice sized portion. They have a diverse array of baked goods including pastries, cookies, cakes, & a nice selection of breads.

Andersen Bakery has amazing cakes and great bread, plus some of the best Clam Chowder in SF. I especially love their Japanese Milk Bread & bread balls (Pain Boule) great for Bread Bowls!

Turkey and mozzarella sandwich was amazing. The turkey was so moist and flavorful. I was so glad someone recommended i it to me

This is a fav for breakfast and lunch. The pastires and breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Their lunch sandwiches and salads are top notch. Never disappointed when I come here

I had the curry pan, although there wasn’t a lot of filling, there was a nice flavour. The breading was nice and thin and crispy. Didn’t feel heavy or greasy. The bakery doesn’t offer oat milk as dairy alternative, but they do have soy and almond milk for those that are lactose intolerant.

This is one Anderson's that made it through the pandemic and is still open. Not the greatest neighborhood If you're shopping for bread you need to get there when they open at 7, otherwise most of it's gone and your left with whole wheat
