Dead Eye Coffee Bar is a very interesting little shop. The place is set up for more grab and go style consumers. The establishment has three stools are up in the back that sit up against a beautiful bashed copper countertop. The giant windows have a wonderful view and make an otherwise claustrophobic space very open and alive. The staff were very friendly and the coffee is well roasted and prepared to perfection. Definitely a place worth stopping into and the staff were incredibly friendly!

Completely obsessed with their Tahitian Vanilla latte. I’ve moved to the east coast since first discovering this cafe but still make it a point to grab my morning coffee here when I am back in town. While I usually enjoy my lattes iced, I prefer their Tahitian vanilla served hot! Do not sleep on their ham & cheese croissant, it’s delivered fresh every morning & always the first to sell out for good reasons. Brian is lovely & seems to know his customers very well, a sign of a great local coffee shop. Highly recommend coming here!

This deserves every 5 star review. Friendly staff and amaaaaZing iced latte. I asked for a food recommendation and they immediately spoke about another small business next door. Amazing experience.

Wow! Heard about this coffee shop from word-of-mouth. It’s a bit hard to find, but once stepped inside, we were really charmed. To start off, the design of the shop was vintage yet modern, tasteful and cohesive. The drinks and ice creams were well presented. The owners/servers were really personable and engaging. It has all the charms lost by big chain coffee shops. Definitely worth stopping by again and again!

We spent a month in South San Francisco and this little gem of a place was probably the best coffee shop I’ve been to in twenty years. They make a perfect cappuccino, have great pastries, but more than anything know their customers very well. All the owners were extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

As someone who prefers iced drinks over hot, I had to go for hot Tahitian Vanilla Latte w/ whole milk and a hot Matcha latte with a shot of tahitian syrup. Both the drinks were delicious and for once I enjoyed having the hot drink with a soft butter croisant. The earthy notes of matcha were combined with perfect level of sweetness! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. P.S. they have a fun little money wall where currencies all over the world have been displayed. So of you have a foreign currency and want to donate it to their wall, be sure to bring it along with you.

Cute little local coffee shop. FYI: Sign is only their logo. Parking was a bit of a pain. Many people were double parking to grab orders. Ordering ahead might be good. Atmosphere: very pretty. Neat. Clean. Welcoming. Employees: Quick to greet. Quick smiles. Very polite.

This is a coffee shop as coffee shops are meant to be. Some people have noted that the space is small- this is true. The shop is not necessarily a place to hang out... but it is a place to get *spectacular* coffee. Their vanilla latte is the best I have had in years of countless espresso based drinks. The cappuccino holds up to the same high standard. The staff care about the quality of each drink in a way that is near impossible to find. This care and pride in their work shows through in everything from their choice of beans to the perfectly steamed milk and balanced flavors. It is so very refreshing to find people who are proud of what they do and do it well. I cannot recommend this place enough.

What a small cute tucked away coffee shop! Got the morning bun and a vanilla latte here which was incredible, and the staff were so nice and the stuff came out really quickly too! Definitely a worthwhile short stop.

Good service, good coffee. They did not have sugar free flavors when we visited- this is the only thing we wish they had for those that can’t have sugar. No indoor seating.

Friendly little hole in the wall on Grand with top-notch coffee. I had a cortado, very smooth with the barest hint of bitterness, just enough to know it was coffee and not some sugary stuff. Morning bun may have been day-old, but was buttery and had a pleasant hint of something like allspice. Indoor seating…sort of a sub-street-level shared area. Reasonable prices, but you have to look for their nameless sign on Grand opposite city hall, where I sat enjoying the fresh air with my coffee. Worth a visit!

We come for coffee on Saturdays after getting adjusted at the chiropractor next door. The coffee and espresso drinks are delicious! The baked goods are tasty too. The two baristas working are friendly and fast working. Today they offered to give our toddler some warm milk or water. He was so excited to have his own cup. Thank you for making this a fun experience for us all!

Love this place. Hipster as can possibly be, and has to be the tiniest coffee shop I’ve ever stood in, but what they lack in square footage, they make up for with some excellent coffee - their Tahitian vanilla latte is absolutely delicious. They also have a rotating selection of freshly-roasted beans from interesting roasters (Devout and Proud Mary). Kinda spoiled to have such a great shop in the area - it’s a must-try if you’re a coffee person.

This place serves up all the essential drinks, with a couple more exciting drinks, and a couple of pastries. My basic almond milk latte was excellent and showed off some high-quality espresso. The chocolate chip scone was pretty good, large, moist, and balanced mildly sweet and buttery flavors well. This is a great little shop for a quick stop for fuel in the morning.

We got a recommendation for this spot while visiting San Fran. We were staying close by (it’s in South San Fran). Easily accessible, lots of parking. We actually placed our order the night before, for a 7:15 am pick up time. In the morning, naturally we were running behind with three children. When we arrived, They have the shop blocked off with a table, where you are greeted. The shop is small, so I appreciate not jamming everyone into the shop. We got our drinks and chocolate croissants and headed back. I got the Tahitian vanilla latte. 10/10 Recommendation! My husband and MIL got the cold brew with the vanilla syrup. They both were silent until it was gone. Safe to say we enjoyed every flake of that croissant, and washed it down with those yummy drinks. Check these guys out!

If you like Italian style coffee you'll like it here. Friendly and quick service. We grabbed coffee and quality croissant to go. Noticed quite a few Roadies commuting on these roads as well.. . always a good sign. Street parking was easy to find.

Had a hot latte that was so good. It was light and creamy with just enough coffee flavor. Would recommend coming here for a damn good cup of coffee

They got amazing reviews and I was looking forward to getting their mocha but sadly no soy milk. I had their espresso which was perfectly brewed and had nice crema

I had no idea this place existed right in my neck of the woods. I just tried a Flat white and am in Love! Honestly the best cup of brew that I’ve tasted in a long time!

I got the spice rose latte and it smelled and tasted great. I usually don't go for sweet or flavors in my coffee coffees, but they get the ratio right here. My partner got one of their tea drinks. Seating inside the cafe is not currently available at the time of writing, but there's still an inside area to wait and stairs to sit on next to the ordering kiosk which is nice.

Excellent!! We always try lattes and other espresso-based drinks when we’re traveling. This place makes a phenomenal mocha with Tcho chocolate (local Bay Area chocolate company that makes just about the best chocolate we’ve ever had). Also recommended are the Tahitian vanilla latte and the spiced rose latte for a unique latte experience. The staff are super friendly. Highly recommended!
