This artistic attraction is one of the best-kept secrets in SF. It’s actually a home (of Greg Angelo, he actually lives there) turned into a studio, workshop, and “museum.” It’s tugged away from the busy SF downtown, away from all the popular touristy places, and it’s in the middle of the residential area near Balboa Park. We attended one of the out-door experiences (i.e. Riddle of the Sphinx) they’ve created during the pandemic for visitors during the re-opening phases of SF, and it was wow,… amazing! Especially considering that this is something they’ve put together in a matter of few months (1 year tops, since they build this by transforming the garden areas of GregAngelo’s home during the lockdown). I’m not going to say much more about the experience b/c I don’t want to ruin the surprise for you. But if they could put out something like this in a year, I’m definitely going back to see the interior of GregAngelo’s home (which they built out over the past 30+ years) when the pandemic is behind us. We love it our first experience so much that we went back again to see the Metamorphosis experience. Again we left wanting to see more. Here are quite a bit of photos already, but we really don't want to ruin the surprise for you. So you should go and experience it yourself. We are definite looking forward to get a tour of GregAngelo's home.

Me and my husband join the Riddle of the Sphinx last Saturday. And I am still playing the word game we did at the tour after that. Our tour guy Gregangelo himself is a wonder, the tour he and his artist design bring you to a fairytale to your childhood to an imaginary world and to the universe. You have to contribute part of yourself in order to pass to next step. And every step "wow" you. Never know there's a place like Alice in Wonderland and more in our neighborhood until GOOGLE pop a picture. We can't wait to join the other tour "Metamorphosis" and will come back and for the home museum reopened. <3

We did the fairy garden tour with jinx the fairy. The house is amazing and Jinx was charming and delightful as a tour guide, and her magic show was amazing. Highly recommend, especially for families with children. Well worth a visit and we will be back!

For someone who has loved the landscape and beauty that is San Francisco ever since my first visit over two decades ago, someone who continued to return time and time again, so much so that she made the move just this year, witnessing Gregangelo's was an unbelievable treat. This review may be difficult to piece together, because truly there are no words to describe the experiences meant for your senses, ones we are aware of and ones that perhaps take some digging to activate. The installations are separated by rooms and various areas of the house. They capture the vision and translation of local artists, while painting pictures of not only San Francisco's rich history or interpretations, but guides us to ponder hidden thoughts about the walks of life. The passion for the history, the arts, and just this wonderous wild flare only San Francisco knows... radiates intensely from the Gregangelo team, and I hope Gregangelo's continues to see the support it deserves. It is quite an impressive and sensational ride, and for those who desire more, a step in your spiritual journey. I am so very grateful for the opportunity to visit with an awesome group (what a lucky stroke!), and intend to come back, seeing more of their creations, continuing my adventure with this resilient city, and celebrating its history and future. I am hopeful that many more will get to experience the same.

It's hard to express in words the beauty and inspiration that this Museum and home holds. During the tour we learned that it's taken almost four decades to build and craft each detail, stone and sparkle. We were lucky enough to have the creator give us the tour and we were all blown away. This is a must-see for a world traveler. After visiting Spain, I can say that this gives Dali a run for his money.

This place is not for everyone with the simple minded, the price was really expensive, but if you love an art, story telling, this interactive story telling museum for you and it get you to think about your past and future. But the most excited things that make me moved is his mosaic pieces. The work take so much time and its beautiful. Theres a big range of collections inside the house, the people was so nice, they let me and my sis to take more snaps to appreciated the interior of the room.

This place is wildly fun, with beautiful and strange things to look at. I've been twice for performances and each time it was a total delight. I laughed, I screamed (Halloween) and left thinking both "what the heck!?" and "that was INCREDIBLE!!" Truly a fun and uplifting surprise to come across in a gorgeous neighborhood. A true gift of art from highly talented, good-spirited people.

So grateful for the incredible tour Marcelo gave us yesterday at Gregangelo art museum. My husband had a wonderful birthday there and beyond the abundance of magnificent art, what truly stood out was the unforgettable bonding experience Marcelo created for us as a couple. The way he weaved ridles with art to engage us in meaningful conversations left a lasting impression on both of us. We came expecting to admire the constellations, but we left with a deeper appreciation for our relationship. It was a 1-1.5 hr personal journey. Much beyond any museum would give you.

We had the most magical time with Jinx on the fairy tour. Our fairy-obsessed daughters were entranced the entire time as Jinx regaled us with tricks and stories. A sweet bunny even made a surprise visit. An absolutely unique and wonderful experience, highly recommended for any children that believe! 🧚❤️

I was lucky enough to spend my birthday at the wonderfully weird and layered museum with my coworkers. The connectorium was perfectly orchestrated to get closer with my teammates and I learned so much. I felt truly touched and honored to experience such a one of a kind place. Our hosts brought true magic - every detail is special and loved and it radiates through each experience. It is quintessential San Francisco in every way possible. If you can, this is definitely one of the best experiences in San Francisco and is a must!

This is a must-see hidden gem in the Bay Area! Every square inch of the house is art and Greg Angelo is such an amazing Guide! His knowledge, passion, and love for the arts is very evident in his words and voice. If you are looking for something unique, creative, and fun, you will not be disappointed.

An utterly unique and impossible to describe experience. We wanted to have a tour on a Wednesday, when the house is normally closed, but after I emailed them to ask they agreed to open just for us for a private tour. Well worth the visit.

Ever since I saw Netflix's Amazing Interior introduced this museum, I've tried to find the time to visit this hidden gem in San Francisco. Finally I was able to grab my mom and sister to come with me. It's such fun and in a way a very therapeutic experience. Each room with a different theme design was truly candies to my eyes. Riddle of Sphinx is currently under renovation, so definitely will come back and visit again when it's complete with it's brand new look

This was a beautiful place. The art is exquisite and each piece has a story. We did the Riddle of the Sphynx tour with our family. The art was intertwined beautifully into the tale they spun for us, a journey from birth to afterlife transcendence. The host, Marcelo, was kind and was able to guide us through the riddles and each step of the journey. We were not expecting to leave with a lighter heart, but the spiritual component was so strong that we felt refreshed and renewed when we left. This is a cultural jewel and a must see.

Fascinating experience to challenge all of your being. I loved it and went solo. The work that went into creating the house and curating the questions is phenomenal. Worth the money for sure, and a highlight of San Francisco. Also, the most beautiful toilet I've ever laid eyes on. I will never forget this part of my trip.

The most well kept secret in SF! Attended many experiences at the Gregangelo Museum over the last 5 years and all of them are spellbinding and jawdroppingly impressive. Not only do they showcase a variety of art forms from really passionate talented artists, they are also deeply meaningful, introspective and transformative! Do yourself a favor and attend one of their experiences. You will discover that you feel freer, lighter, more joyful and hopeful after!

This is my favorite immersive show that I've been to and one of my favorite shows overall! The set was intricate, colorful, and creative, the actors and actresses were amazing improvisors that truly immersed me in the whole experience. It was a very pleasant experience where I feel I was able to not only be fascinated and completely thrilled, but I was also able to learn about myself in a new and exciting way! I will definitely come back to the Gregangelo Museum!
