All the plants a one childs name on them, and a wish....many want a money tree, and get swiss chard or broccoli. Its beautiful and serene ...sort of three parks in one. When I went, there was a classical guitarist in the garden area. A yukele player in the middle park, and the play ground was Going off..first park from the street.

Enclosed playground with great city views and lots of nature (birds, plants, trees) to take in within close proximity. I have found broken glass on multiple occasions as well as damaged playground equipment - not so bad to prevent me from going there, but SF Recs and Park can be slow to respond to requests for cleanup/repair. Better for 2.5+ years as equipment is too large / high off the ground for infants/toddlers

My go-to, around the corner Park to take my dogs to everyday. Most of the time there's not many people there, maybe a basketball player and a couple of kids in the playground. Sometimes they have younger kids classes that come in to learn about gardening in the back community garden area. It can get a little busy and noisy with a lot of kids there at that time but it's a park you should expect the kids to be there being loud. But what's nice is they're not their 80% of the time and it's a relatively quiet small city park to spend some quiet time in. If you go to the back past the playground and basketball courts you'll find the winding path that goes down to the community garden where you can rent garden plots in case you don't have a yard where you live, you can still grow your own vegetables if you want. Like all parks in the city they close at dusk so if you're there after dark make sure you have a dog with you. I couldn't be happier living next to another Park. This park is the perfect size and the perfect amount of people most of the time I can't complain. Try it but don't tell many people about it cuz I'd like to keep it a somewhat quiet space.

It's a nice little neighborhood playground with a nice garden and a good view of Downtown.

I enjoyed this quiet little park with its play area for kids, shaded benches, nice views, long path of staircases and attached community garden during a recent visit to the Hayes Valley neighborhood. You can miss it if you are coming down Oak Street. All one see from the right in the middle of the block is a small gate with a panel of created ceramic art tiles and the foundation for a staircase. It is worth the excursion for a few minutes of peace and serenity.

Went there to eat lunch the week past and the views were beautiful, amenities were as advertised but there was an infestation of rats running around the shrubbery surrounding the garden. Would not recommend

Small size park with a nice size playground for the kids. There is also a really cool and thriving community garden. Definitely take a stroll through the garden if you have time.

This would be a nice little park if people didn’t let their dogs run off leash everywhere.

My kids love this small playground and community garden. There's a basketball court next to a fenced in play space. The play equipment includes seesaws, a tire swing, two slides and climbing parts. Most of the ground area is sand. The community garden is below and my kids enjoy wandering around and looking at the flowers and plants. The compost area there does attract rodent friends, but it's easy to steer clear. Overall it's a great little neighborhood park with unique features.

I have been going to this park for years. I like it because it has paved, wondering, pathways. Wildlife in the shape of birds are comfortable there and recently the park service finished replanting the park with native, drought resistant plants. The park also features a play gym for children in addition to a basket ball court. But the jem of the park is the teaching garden. Here locals of the area plant crops or other plants which are then used to to teach kids at the elementary school up the street

My four year old granddaughter enjoyed her experience here tremendously. It's a well situated playground with seesaw, tire swing, sand, multiple slides and step ladders. GREAT seating and picnic tables. Fantastic view of downtown skyline. There's a community garden we enjoyed walking through.

One of the few places you can hear birds in the city! It's clean and safe for kids
