Nice neighborhood park to bring your dog, get some sun and people watch. There are lots of park benches and many places to grab a drink or food. Check out @TheEpicureanTrader, Ritual Coffee, La Boulange and Salt and Straw for lunch, coffee, pastries, and ice cream. It’s now more pedestrian friendly where two streets surrounding the park are blocked off to traffic.

We enjoy popping over to Hayes Valley for a quick walk about through the park for the lighted art installation, bakery and coffee, up and coming shops, candy store, nice people and even buy pottery out of an airstream! Cool area. The tree lined streets are amazing too. Explore!

Art installations are no longer there as of Aug 2022. The streets along here are beautiful with gorgeous trees and filled with boutique shops. Most restaurants don't open for dinner until 5pm.

Such a wonderful place to go on a sunny day and commune with your fellow neighbors and hang out in a park that has a little something to offer everyone recently they close Hayes Street from Octavia down to golf and you can just walk on the street check out all the awesome shops hang out in the park I kind of miss some of the art installations they had but with everything else is going on down there now it's just a really fun place in the neighborhood to hang out.

Such a cute little park. Always festive and with live music on some days. Right in the heart of Hayes Valley and surrounded by so many amazing places, including great coffee, ice cream, personal training, cupcakes, and a short walk to some delicious restaurants.

I love this little park there's so much beauty around you everywhere you look. Even in the smallest nooks and crannies there is something amazing to see.

Great location for a stop while on the move. The park itself is very small but the location makes up for it. There is rotating art that is usually super cool. Lots of little shops and what not are only steps away.

Good outdoor space that is closed to traffic (sometimes) in the Hayes Valley, with shops, bakery, restaurants and beer garden around. Picnic spot and children playground, where actual kids and furry kids can all enjoy a nice day when the sun is out

Cool parklet/ neighborhood hang out area. One kids play structure (geodesic dome frame). Lots off food and shops nearby. No bathrooms. My kids got bored quickly and we also had to find a bathroom...

Wish the grassy part is better taken care of, the trash cans emptied more frequently, the litter picked up, seating cleaned. There's actually more seating here per sq foot than other larger parks. The green itself does not look or feel inviting for a picnic or sunbathing but someone did. It's a neighborhood gem - love the outdoor gym, skateboarders and shops. Dogs and fur parents were all well-behaved. Don't think it's off leash and most dogs are leashed anyway. No problem at all the times I have been there with a small pet, but I was warned by a fur-parent of a pepper-sprayer hitting back at her son's barking dog. So, beats nothing, but as with any urban area, approach any stranger with caution...

Small park with giant cat sculptures, a coffee pop-up and lots of seating. It's in a busy residential area with up-scale shops and restaurants nearby.

Lovely little "get away" corner where traffic isn't booming in your ears. A few benches to take a breather, surrounded by art !

A small oasis for the locals. A place for a stroll or work out. The CATHENGE is worth checking out.

Brought my breakfast here at the Patricia’s Green in Hayes Valley to enjoy the Cat Sculptures and to people watch. It was a gorgeous day out and it was nice to just sit and enjoy the arts while being outside at this park in San Francisco. Today was a great day!

Great place to sit, people watch, do work, enjoy your coffee, etc. Especially on a sunny morning.

Great tiny park and open area with benches, tables, a kid playground and some art installations. The very heart of Hayes Valley in close proximity of many restaurants and shops with constant foot traffic.

Yes, there is grass. There are places to sit and drink your coffee. But I wouldn't call this a park. It's a green space between city buildings which can get sunshine. Disappointing for kids.

The waterfall is absolutely stunning, all the different elements of the park are beautiful, especially the fernery.

Beautiful park in the heart of Hayes Valley. Great place to enjoy your ice cream, coffee, or bakery items. They have lots of bench or table seating. It could also be a meeting point. It’s well maintained.
