Beautiful, expansive off-leash dog park with plenty of poop bag provided and a water fountain by the entrance. Dogs are well-behaved too. Just try to AVOID this place on the weekends: it is absolutely filled with the weirdest, most unpleasant people. Either they are crazy belligerent and verbally harass you about god-knows-what, or another set of people bring their aggressive dogs LEASHED up and lose their minds when a dog comes up….it’s an off-leash dog park for dog socialization folks, what part of that do you not understand?! Get over yourself & bring your aggressive neurotic dogs elsewhere - there are literally hundreds of trails and park you can go to in the East Bay.

The largest dog park in the US. Hundreds of dogs are running around. If you own a dog or just love them, you will love this place. And your dog will adore it.

This place is amazing and I am so glad I found it. My puppy loved it, I loved it. There’s an awesome cafe and dog groomer on available when you’re walking in or leaving to the parking area which is great for a coffee before hand and then if your pup gets dirty playing or just needs a bath, you can get that done before heading home with your fur ball. There is a TON of space, lots of unleashed dogs and just overall this place was heavenly. We didn’t come across any unfriendly dogs, we played catch with his ball, we people watched, he chased dogs around and rough housed with them a bit. I will def be back!

Such an amazing dog park! There’s a cute coffee shop that serves breakfast sandwiches on the weekend. Around the corner from the cafe, there is a place to get your dog groomed there as well. I would recommend bringing a jacket because it’s -15 degrees from the wind chill. There are several hikes that go beyond the primary dog park but your dog needs to be leashed within those areas. There are a ton of poop bag stations every few yards with trash cans but you should definitely bring water for your pup because there is only one watering station at the very front entrance. Parking is also a struggle on the weekends after 9am so you typically have to park at costco and walk over. For the larger dogs who enjoy swimming in the water, there’s a wash off area behind the cafe. Overall, it’s probably one of my favorite dog parks I’ve been to! Pup has so much space to roam and the views are gorgeous.

We love this place! We don't have a dog of our own right now, but this is a great place to come and see great dogs while getting a nice walk in. On a clear day there's a perfect view of San Francisco and Golden Gate + Bay Bridge. It does get very muddy after it rains and there are sections where dogs can swim in the bay water. Luckily there's a dog wash place, which is also connected to a cafe that serves sandwiches and coffee - the food was good but quite overpriced.

Such a great dog park, entirely off leash so your pup can run around and play! The area is quite large and flat on the trail, easy for my senior dog to walk around but so fun for my 9 yrs old chiweenie to have fun with others on the side trails. Everyone is always friendly and happy here, only good times!

One of my favorite places on Earth. My dog's, too! On any given day or time, there are so many friendly dogs and so many friendly people wandering around. Amazing views of SF and the Bay (when it's not foggy). It can be very windy and raw, so check ahead. Parking can be scarce on very busy days.

Great place for your pooch to run free and to get in the water if tall enough to navigate the rocks. Nice and breezy on a hot day and lovely views of San Francisco.

Great dog park. Large area where you can let your dog off leash and walk/run/play fetch with it. (I’m guessing there’s a little under an acre) This is great if your dog is socialized with one caveat — most of the park is fenced but the entryways to the parking lots aren’t , so you may want to keep your dog on least if it’s an “escape artist” or avoid it if your dog is antisocial (because other dogs *will* approach, generally out of curiosity.) Beautiful views of the Bay with SF and the Bay Bridge in the distance.

First time here and definitely will be back! Off leash park, beautiful weather for June. Beautiful views! Enjoyed talking with some locals. Our dog had a lot of fun.

Awesome dog park on the water not far from downtown Oakland. Beautiful open grass areas and pebble big long trails for all to walk... Very friendly doggies and humans, plenty of parking there with fresh air. Bring your own poopy bags & a bottle of fresh water for your dog, it's a nice airy open hike. The water channels may be tempting, it's still water & shallow - dogs steal a dip for themselves.

Love this place! I have never been anywhere like it. It is much more than just a cyclone fence and a patch of grass. You can get well away from the parking lot and walk over a bridge to a large open area for dogs to romp safely. You will see big dogs little dogs and everything in between some unleashes I'm not. Most dog owners and dogs are respectful occasionally he will find one who maybe should not be there but most folks know the dogs and whether or not they are socialized enough to be there off leash. We have had many wonderful times there. Not to mention the views are outstanding!

After buying some large bags of snacks from Costco, I decided I wanted to taste them. Instead of staying in the Costco parking lot (which is very crowded, and if you sit in your car, people driving by may want your parking spot). The parking lot at Point Isabel offers more views of nature. There are a few picnic tables available (I used them to sample snacks that I got at Costco). I found the restrooms quite roomy, skylights provided natural light, and there are flush toilets). There are views of San Francisco, and the Golden Gate Bridge. If you bring your pooch, there are doggie drinking fountains available. If you want to meditate, lots of places for sitting or walking meditation. Also, if you like to bike, there are bike paths. Bathroom is wheelchair accessible.

After your dog runs around the mile beach and gets muddy boots, you can do a washing at Mudpuppy's Tub and Scrub. They take appointments now. Then while your dog is in the hands of those friendly folks, you can enjoy a sandwich at the Sit and Stay Cafe, the other quintessential shop in the park. The park is an island so your dog can feel like he is roaming free with all the other dogs and humans. There are sweeping views of the bay, San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley. The wildlife and nature is pretty much typical east bay estuary. The same thing you see from Fremont to the marina. Still pretty though. Lots of regulars at this park. Parking is easy and bathrooms are clean. Everything is peaceful with more space. 😌 The dogs don't get riled up as easily.

Very nice walk. You can take your doggy for a long walk and the nails trimmed. Magnificent views of the Golden Gate, San Francisco and the Bay Bridge. Windsurfers.

Been going to this dog park for over 30 years. It's a great spot for social dogs and their humans to interact, get in a good walk, and enjoy the many different dogs all having a great day! (Especially mine!)

Found this place on accident! We were driving back from a camping trip and one of our dogs had to go potty. So we pulled off the freeway because we saw Costco and found this beautiful place! We let all our dogs out to run around with the bay in the background. Was beautiful. Also enjoyed an awesome coffee.

This is our favorite park. Perfect park for dogs to be themselves without any leash. It has drinking water facilities, benches to sit in between the walks, and at the end there is shower and tub service for dogs. The ocean view is very beautiful. Dogs can also jump in the water so what else they want! 😀

Always a good time for my dog! She loves gopher watching and sniffing around. All the dogs behave so well off leash. I wish all dog parks were as clean and big as this one. Plus I get to grab a coffee at the little Cafe and then go for our walk.

🫤 The dog park can use some maintenance. The grass needs to be cut. The dirt holes really need to be filled in There are no poo bags to pick up dog waste. I am glad I brought bags to share with others. There is dog poo that needs to be picked up. I met nice dogs and people here today.

😐 The people there were very friendly. I was hoping for some small dogs to play with my small dog, but there were only large dogs there. All people with dogs need to learn to clean up after their pets!! And you shouldn't have to be told this! It is quite simply your responsibility to keep an eye on...
