I have grown to love Palmetto’s build your own bowls! I found my first bowl to have 3x more coconut cream than I would’ve preferred (although very filling, it was quite rich). However after giving it another shot, I’m excited to say it’s my favorite acai in the city. The mango tango was not too sweet. I’ve enjoyed the large assortment of granola, and the level of customization is appreciated and gives a good bang for the buck. Highly recommend, even could be a filling and tasty meal!

I was looking for a healthy sweet to satisfy my sweet tooth and a good açaí bowl always does the trick. I swung by this place on my way back to downtown from the beach and grabbed me a bowl. It was interesting to have an entirely build your own option of an açaí bowl, but I really liked it. They had 6 types of bases, 3 types of granola, 15 toppings, 3 drizzles, etc. There was no cap on the number of items and no extra charges so you could literally get everything for the price you would get 1 of each. I personally loved this as no one likes to get charged for every item which completely defeats the price of building your own. The bowl came out fantastic. The coconut and açaí base mixed was sooo good and the toppings were abundant. The only thing I didn’t like here was that there was no seating, but found a nice spot out front to eat so it worked out well. Overall one of the top açaí bowls I have ever had and I would highly recommend to others!

I LOVE acai bowls, but with most places, I'm being shorted on what I ordered (ingredients/quality etc.) Palmetto's is totally different! They'll fill your bowl up with all the nutritious goodness you want, the ingredients are clearly fresh, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Reminds me a bit of Blue Bowl in SoCal, and honestly just as delicious. I like that you can edit your bowl as much or as little as you want for a solid price. All their fruits and toppings are so fresh with a wide variety of nutritious options as well- I’m impressed! Additionally, I ordered in store, and honestly was quite impressed by how quick they finished the bowl considering there were online orders they were prepping as well as customers before me. I want to be back and try all the bases I was not able to this time. Though, I definitely recommend the acai, pitaya dragonfruit, matchacado-which is new btw, and chia pudding.

Looking for something absolutely delicious and healthy? Do yourself a favor and come eat here. This plads is tiny and does not include any places to sit down but there are places to sit and stand to eat right outside. My favorite thing to order is the bay blend. I can't get enough of it.

Palmetto has the best build your own açaí bowl options! So many fun bases to try and a long list of delicious toppings. Their prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get!

Every time I go visit my sister in SF, getting Palmetto Superfoods is a must. I love building my own superfood bowl with my favorite vegan options. I always order online for pick up and my food is always ready when they say it will be. Not the most expensive either and healthy so it’s a win-win. You guys are awesome! Thank you for your great service :) P.S. There is metered street parking in the area but it can be a little tricky sometimes finding a spot, especially on Sunday’s when they have the farmers market. So just a heads up :)

The best açaí bowl in the area, they super pack the bowls with generous amounts of fruits, nuts, peanut/almond butter, honey, and multiple bases to choose from. Super reliable to be ordered on DoorDash and their own app. Service is somewhat quick and the inside is nothing to write home about, a couple of cute neon signs for those who want to take photos.

These are the best acai bowls in the city - there are so many different bases and toppings to choose from. The build your own bowl option is what I always do since I can customize and add as many things as I want for the same price. 10/10 recommend!

This is probably the best Açaí bowls or just general fruit smoothie-like bowls in SF. They have multiple bases to pick from and I recommend the standard açaí and the mango passion fruit. We will be coming back and there are two locations. You can order online or at a digital kiosk at the entrance. No cash

Love love!! 💜 I usually build my own bowl. Excellent variety. I really like the Japanese Matchacado 2.0 and Coconut Beach bases, which I haven’t seen at other açaí places. The large size (24oz.) is shareable. Indoor seating and bathroom available. Tip: Order ahead! Use their app for rewards.

First time ever eating at a place like this in the West Coast. I tried something in the East Coast (New Jersey) that was not at all as good, or as tasty or as fresh as this. So many wonderful, healthy and mouth watering options here. Everything is packed with flavor and the quality of the fruit, granola, etc. is excellent. The seating is open, and not formal, much more relaxed. It was incredibly busy when my husband and I walked in, so the wait was about 20 minutes, however, it was definitely worth it. Every bite was pure satisfaction. The employees were friendly and working super hard. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a fresh and healthy place to eat versus all the fast food that overwhelms this area. It was $30.00 USD for my husband and I, medium sized cups, that price includes the 20% tip as well. We believe in tipping for hard work and great service and high quality food. A medium is quite a large portion with all the fruit, almond butter, peanut butter, açaí, granola, bananas and mango that was in my “Flex bowl.” I wasn’t sure how filling it would all be, but that size was definitely worth the price it cost. It was a full meal!
