Had a wonderful time. Scott was very informative and entertaining! The food stops were excellent. We even were able to stop at a tea bar to taste and learn more about the healing effects of tea.

We had such a wonderful time in Chinatown with our food tour guide Jinny P. Jinny obviously loves the people, food, culture and history of Chinatown and that translated into a delicious immersive experience for our group. The food was great...something for everyone. Jinny also made sure to accommodate any in our group with dietary restrictions. The history of Chinatown was fascinating. Loved that Jinny pointed out some of the murals and street artists' works as we traversed the roads and alleys. We were fortunate to be there during a classic car show so that was a cool extra. Highly, highly recommend this tour!

I booked a private tour in San Francisco’s Mission district for a friend trip because the public tours didn’t work for our schedule. Sidewalk Tours made booking very flexible and easy. The tour guide, Jinny, was great and gave us further recommendations for food in San Fran. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again in any city. Definitely worth the money!

Just did the Mission district food tour with Michael. It was fantastic. The food was great, and plentiful. Michael was a wonderful guide. Knowledgeable, interesting and fun. Most times the guide makes or breaks the tour, Michael definitely made it! I would not hesitate to book another tour with Sidewalk.

My friend bought tickets for the Mission District Food tour for a birthday gift for me. What a treat! Spud was a great guide...fun, knowledgeable, engaging. The stops were full of unique deliciousness and always ready for us. A plus were all the beautiful murals along the way! It was a very fun experience!! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time discovering the Mission. Who would have known. Our awesome Tour Guide, Spud is a local to the area and travel writer. His unique perspective and stories enhanced the experience. The stops had unique qualities and I tried new dishes. It was an easy walking tour, weather was perfect, it was safe, and the other guests were a blast. Highly recommend for local or visitor!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Enjoyed a very interesting tour of the North Point Neighborhood and the scrumptious Italian food that is offered. PRO TIP: DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO GET SPUD AS YOUR TOUR GUIDE. He was a fountain of local history that filled our minds while the family-run restaurants filled our stomachs.

Really great food but our tour guide Scott really made this an amazing experience. He's a true local with a wealth of knowledge and stories that he freely conveyed during our tour of North Beach and Chinatown.

Blair took a group of us on the Mission District food tour, and he was great. I am a SF resident, but I learned a lot about the food and culture of the neighborhood. I would strongly recommend this tour to my friends.

Booked a private tour with this company as a team building event and our tour guide (Spud H.) was fantastic. He was a great story teller. This city has so much history and Spud did a great job telling it. The food stops were great and we never felt rushed. 4 hours flew by in a snap. Would recommend this experience for team building or visitors or residents alike!

I booked a large corporate group tour with Sidewalk Food Tours which we split into 4 separate tours of Chinatown and North Beach. The entire experience from the initial call, to the planning and the actual tours was just seamless. They were super responsive and flexible with some changes we made leading up to the tour date. The attendees (especially those from out of town) found it excellent and a great way to meet their peers. Thanks to Josh and the guides who led our tours!

My siblings and I took our mom to San Francisco for a birthday celebration. I booked this tour based on a recommendation from friends who had recently went and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Lauren, was amazing and made the whole experience memorable. The tour was full of delicious food (no one went hungry!!) and 4-6 separate dining locations, plus a handful of historical/educational locations. It was a really cool way to learn about the history of and and current day Chinatown. The walk wasn't too bad considering the hills SF is known for...our whole group managed just fine and Lauren was great about speed and breaks. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Scott was fantastic here in San Francisco! The Chinatown tour was great-plenty of food, spaced nicely apart. Scott was full of historical facts and gave great tips and info. He’s convinced me to do a tour in my own hometown.

Would highly recommend the North Beach food tour with Scott Lettieri! He was an encyclopedia of local knowledge and I could listen to his amazing stories all day. I've lived in the SF Bay Area all my life and it felt like it was my first day with all of the interesting facts I learned. Thanks Scott!

My wife and I took the Mission District food tour with Blair on our recent trip to San Francisco. We had a great time! Blair is great at his job and is very knowledgeable about the area. Browsing street art was an added bonus. Highly recommend this to anyone interested in a food tour while in this city.

We had an amazing time for Sidewalk Food Tours of San Francisco. Lauren was a great tour guide who gave informational history about San Francisco and the Mission District. Her passion for food and communicating with others was apparent. It felt like a group of friends enjoying an afternoon together. Highly recommend!

Blaire took us on a lovely tour of the Mission District in San Fransisco. He was very friendly, knowledgable, and open about the neighborhood and the foods and restaurants that we ate from. Overall this was an excellent experience and one that I would recommend for anyone looking to familiarize themselves with the Mission District!

We had the luxury of having Lauren as our tour guide. She nailed it. She not only brought us to some fantastic restaurants but also gave us some local insight into the city. We learned about the treasure found under buildings, the book banning history, the Australian gang and so many more cool fun facts of North Beach. Oh and she also sang for us! If you want to explore this part of San Fran I highly recommend this tour, and if you can request Lauren!

Booked a corporate team building event through Sidewalk Food Tours in SF: Taco Wars! It was fun, energetic, and informative! They even took care of beer and wine for our guests. I've gotten 3 requests to do that again! Highly recommend :)

This was our second experience with Sidewalk Food Tours. Both have been excellent. Our tour guide for today's tour in the Mission District was Scott and he was super. My reason for only giving it four stars was that we weren't that impressed with the food at two of the stops. There was also a glitch with one of the restaurants on the tour, which was NOT Scott's fault. But it did slow things down. We would have liked a bit more time and explanation of some of the murals but the glitch took up some of the time that might have ordinarily been given to that. But I still like this business and highly recommend it.

We had a great experience taking my mom on the Chinatown tour for her birthday! We got a generous amount of food, enjoyed meeting other folks on the tour over street food/family-style meals, and had a special experience at a tea tasting toward the end. I live in San Francisco and learned so much. Lauren was a fantastic tour guide.

👍👍 Overall this was a great way to experience Alcatraz. From the moment we got on the boat, to the moment we returned from the island, it was fun and educational. The tour boat itself that shuttles passengers to the island is solar powered, which is pleasant to know it’s operating with less of a carbon...
