Nick is an exceptional boxing coach. He teaches you about proper techniques that can be used in real boxing matches. The conditioning exercise for boxers is also good for general fitness. You will improve your strength, agility, coordination, core and endurance by training with Nick. Nick is encouraging and entertaining in his class. This is really a blessing to have him as my coach! Highly recommend to whoever want to get into shape in a fun and diverse way without breaking the bank. If you want to get in depth into boxing, look no further. This is the place to be. First drop-in is free!

I've attended other gyms in the past but once I found out that Peninsula Boxing & Fitness offered a Women's boxercise class I knew this would be the gym for me, 4 years now. The classes are ran by coach Nick or Cali. What I admired the most was observing coach Nick showing his love, passion, motivation and desire to make me a better individual within myself and to others. Determined to do his best as always, there's no other way. The passion he has for children and teens. Whether you want to train for competitions or not, he will always give it his best shot. It doesn't matter what size you are, there is no discrimination. You go at your pace. It's also a fun way of meeting new friends. As long as you have the motivation to want to work out Nick is 110% right there with you to teach you the fundamentals and skills you need to get started. I found out that boxing is a wonderful way to release stress, to build up my self-esteem, to get a good workout and to have a healthier life. So, if you're looking for a boxing gym, why don't you walk in and see for yourself. Your first visit is free, his prices are reasonable very clean and plenty of parking. Coach Nick is a man who really cares about people and his community. One big happy family. I know I'm blessed to have him on my corner.

As a previous class passer, I've checked out 15+ gyms in the bay area and Peninsula boxing is the best. I've been training at Peninsula Boxing for 1-2 years now and love every workout. Coach Nick, is passionate about boxing and motivates us to reach our personal bests. The boxing classes are always diverse and challenging and focus on real boxing technique. The class sizes are small, with mostly regulars, and the gym has a "family" feel to it.

Coach Nick makes sure that you learn the proper techniques and strategies for actual boxing, not just repeatedly punching a bag for fitness. He works one on one with every member, giving detailed critiques and suggestions. However, he also knows how to keep the classes fun and interesting. The program is very receptive to newcomers, even if you’ve never touched a glove before!

I've only attended Ladies Boxercise classes. They are fun and a great workout for anyone interested in boxing and overall fitness. There are usually several regulars and several new people. I was totally intimidated when I first started, but everyone in class is very supportive and welcoming regardless of experience. The place is clean and there's a large parking lot. Nick is passionate about boxing and teaching proper technique. Come to class, it's a great workout. We hit bags, but don't spar and it's really, REALLY fun!

I decided to join boxing at this gym and on the first day I knew I made the right decision. Coach Nick is helpful and easy to talk to. Training varies from lightweight to make sure one learns everything correctly to resisting training to increase one's endurance. My favorite days are when Coach Nick's top boxing students teach the class because they make resisting training fun, influence teamwork, and most importantly motivate everybody with positive words which encourages one to come back the next day. On a personal note, this is a perfect way to end my night. Plus, there is a taco stand a block away from the gym haha!

Such a great workout and such a great atmosphere! I recently started attending classes here and I have already learned so much. The workouts are both physically and mentally challenging in a way that I find incredibly rewarding. Coach Nick knows his stuff and is a great instructor. Everyone in attendance is friendly and welcoming, and it's definitely open to all skill levels.

I've had an absolute blast training here. This is my first foray into martial arts and Coach Nick has been immensely helpful and patient with a complete beginner like me. Training consists of a nice mix of cardio and weight training for the first part, and shadowboxing, drills, pad work, and heavybags for the second part of the session. As the recreational classes have students of different athletic abilities, it's OK if you want to take a break, or if you want to go more at a faster pace. Coach Nick is able to go intense and also be patient at the same time on the 1-on-1 trainings to make sure you get the best results. Overall, a wonderful and unforgettable experience for me during my stay here in the US!

Whether you're looking to step into the ring and box competitively, want to learn how to defend yourself, or simply want a great workout, peninsula boxing is the place. I've been boxing competitively since the first month of training and have been very satisfied with the training and the experience. Coach Nick has a strong passion for boxing and is dedicated in what he does. Working around my schedule and often taking his free time to have me come in and train privately. The class atmosphere is positive, an easy place to make friends, at the same time it's a hell of a workout and teaches boxing fundamentals used by the best of the best in pro boxing.

I come here every week for Nick's group workout class. The workout is very comprehensive mixing different cardio and weight exercises. As a bonus, I also learn useful boxing techniques and drills which improve my reflex. Nick is a great boxing and fitness coach, he is enthusiastic and know how to make the workout fun and effective.

I’m a professional boxer and former Team USA member. Boxing is my life, and I recently starting training with Coach Nick, and I can honestly say he’s the most knowledgeable coach I’ve ever worked with, and he has a very nice looking and well equipped facility. I highly recommend peninsula boxing and fitness to anyone that’s searching for a boxing gym to join.
