The doctor was amazing. Lana the receptionist was horrible and the reason I will never come back here. If you are miserable at your job and don’t like working with people, please find another job. Even the doctor was apologetic for how rude and unwilling to help Lana was. Also, I made an appointment online to get both a physical and Pap smear. Got a call from their office to confirm soon after I made the appointment but was not told until I got there that I could not do both in one day. Even their email said some insurances may not allow it but nothing about it being an office policy. I know for a fact my insurance allows me to do both in one day. Could have easily saved us all time if they were transparent on the phone, on their site or in their emails. PS. Don’t trust their ratings. If you put that you would not recommend their office, your rating and review will not count/get posted. Put yes and then leave your honest review.

Read all the negative Yelp reviews citing the same issues for patient after patient. Don't go here, they will cheat and mistreat you. Always double check the prescriptions you get from here as they continually make errors and don't care what negative impact it may have on patient health.

Dr. Dastmalchi was a bit rude and dismissive of me. She guilted me for failing to follow up on labs and at one point scoffed/laughed at how I am managing a prescription through a 3rd party. She is not my PCP and I was seeing her due to convenience. While I would not recommend her as a PCP, I would still recommend Downtown Medical Group as a whole. Everyone else I have interacted with has been extremely helpful and professional.

No Stars for this Healthcare provider! Stay away from this organization they are not in the business of healthcare, it is all about taking your money! They are the worst healthcare organization that I have ever seen and I have been in the healthcare industry for over 30 years. My daughter had two Covid tests performed in Jan 2021. Paid at the time of service since they will not bill to the patient's' insurance. Over the last 18 months they continue to send bills for the services, even after many phone calls and email. They refuse to update their system with her payments. It is impossible to get someone on the phone, calling all of the possible numbers routes you to different parts of the organization. That is if you ever connect, usually the call is just dropped. The lady who runs the office has no customer skills and just tells you to call someone else that does not exist. My email to the doctor that runs the organization got nothing back. I have reported them to the state insurance commision for fraud. Do not use this provider!

Have been a patient of downtown medical since 2010. In the beginning I would constantly see a different Doctor which I didn’t love, but once the old team slowly faded into retirement the office has had some awesome additions to the team!

One aspect of my appointment that I was not happy with, was not being asked if I wanted a female or male to do my ekg. I had a male who was there to take my blood. I was fine with that, but to have this same person do my ekg. He did not leave the room while I preped for the ekg. No introductions of the male person or what his credentials were. I also like to see paper gowns in larger sizes.

Dr Battle is very professional, knowledgeable , understanding and sweet. She’s the best doctor in downtown medical. She’s the reason I still visit downtown medical.

Very easy to schedule an annual check-up and appreciate that there was no wait when I arrived. The doctor answered all my questions kindly and blood results returned quickly.

Very professional staff. Offers latest medical services available. After a couple of visits, the office feels like a small town doctor clinic atmosphere where they know your name. They're good getting back to their patients. Some doctors give you that personal and confidential attention; Particularly, sensitive health concerns. Overall, my doctor is very supportive and patient with me while I work on reaching my health goals.

Dr. Batlle is very accommodating and understanding. She takes the time to hear all the details and is very patient. I feel very comfortable talking to her. She reminds me that we have to work together to keep me healthy.

We were Canadians who needed Strep tests and Covid-19 tests and eventually, thanks to Dr. Batlle-Quidgley's kind bedside manner and expert service, able to get processed in the same day. She acknowledged our difficult situation and did her best to provide service that helped us to improve our health & trip with this unfortunate setback. May as well say it - the fact you need to pay out of pocket just to see a doctor and then pay for subsequent tests make me firmly embrace the Canadian HealthCare System - even with all of its problems with which I am quite aware!

Dr. Battle was absolutely extraordinary - kind, professional, thorough, helpful, and sensitive. The visit was an emergency "out of town" appointment. My first visit to Downtown Medical was very pleasant. I am extremely satisfied with the efficiency of check-in which was possible by the handy online intake form I completed prior to my visit and by the friendly staff who came out to greet me when the service window was occupied. Overall, I am impressed by this practice and happy with Dr. Le and her approach to medicine which aligns with my values. It's also super convenient that they have a lab on-site so I didn't have to go somewhere else for a blood test; the waiting room was clean and comforting with its cute stuffed veggies smiling at me.

The doctor was excellent and the staff is extremely helpful. They were able to get me a last minute appointment. Highly recommend Downtown Medical.

I am an Italian, on vacation in San Francisco who had lost life-saving thyroid drugs. the nurses were very kind, like the doctor who gave me the prescription. They were really nice and efficient in dealing with my problem. But $ 235 for a prescription plus $ 20 for medication is sheer madness!

Dr Grenier and her staff has always been very kind and customer oriented they’ve always help me and advise me to the best of the ability it’s like visiting your neighbor. I recommend them to anyone that is near by their office and have insurance with them. You cannot go wrong.they do wonderful work.

The ffice polite efficient and happy!! Dr. D was kind and caring. This was my second visit. She checked my progress went over all my lab reports and adjusted my meds. I've have since recommended her and her office to three other people looking for a new primary care physician.

I had a great experience here. I love my doctor, Dr. Quidgely. She listened to me and spent adequate time talking with me to understand my issues. The rest of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The office was clean and comfortable. And the location is within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Fast and painless COVID test for international travel. Booked an appointment on MLK day online and had my results within 2 hours.

Got a good vibe from this office. The front desk & lab staff were efficient & friendly. Dr. Grenier took her time with me & made me feel welcome. This was my first visit for a pre-op physical, but I will definitely be coming back.

The young guy at the reception is so unprofessional, rude and a mess. I do not recommend going here for your USCIS medical exam, they let you book your appointment online but when you show up, they tell you that you do not have an appointment.

I had an appt to get a covid test. Not only did the scheduled time not matter. They opened late and then still made me wait while they powered on equipment. The waiting room was packed and there was no concern for social distancing. Overall the experience was inefficient and disappointing. Would not recommend or come back.

Dr. Grenier is hands down the best doctor I have ever had. She is so sweet, thoughtful, and honest. She takes her time in really understanding why you’ve come in, what she recommends and if there is anything else she can answer for you. She has a very motherly instinct about herself and it shows, I love it because she always makes me feel like she genuinely cares about me and my well being and doesn’t treat me like a number, get me in and get me out. Dr. Grenier has been my PCP for the last few years and she is incredible. She always takes the time to listen to whatever issues I may have and gives helpful feedback. She is always willing to work with me and genuinely cares about my wellbeing - hands down the best doctor I have ever had. The staff at Downtown Medical Group is also stellar. Booking appointments is easy, they call back in a timely fashion, and are always helpful when it comes to either giving out or receiving medical records.
