    I am so thankful I found Carbon Health. They made a mistake in my initial booking, but when I called back to fix it they were very helpful and thorough. Managing my care through the app is so helpful. And Dr. Thompsen is already the most compassionate and thorough doctor Iā€™ve ever had!

    I was running around like a headless chicken trying to get a PCR test before my flight. The staff at carbon understood my situation and went beyond the extra mile to get me my results in time. I am beyond happy!

    So far I have been very happy with Carbon Health, they have a ton of appointment (both in person and virtual) available, it's easy to track lab results, paperwork, you can always talk to someone through chats. The clinicians and doctors were also very nice. And usually very little wait when I arrive at the clinic for my appointment.

    Staffs are very professional and friendly! Care with kindness and sense of community! Most important, as an urgent care facility, everybody there has the highly trained critical thinking skill which gives the patient like me a great reason to return when an urgent need occurred.

    I made an appointment the night before at 10pm and I was seen at 10:40am. They have a great app and my insurance paid for the whole thing; I didnā€™t even have a copay. Iā€™m glad they post their non insurance rates so clearly on the website too. They even explain copay vs deductible. It was great. Hope I donā€™t need to go to urgent care again, but Iā€™ll definitely pick here if I do.

    Carbon Health is the absolute best. The staff is so incredibly nice and patient, today I met with Dr.Wu and the MA Salma and both were so personable and kind!! I usually get a little anxiety going to the doctors but never when I'm seeing someone at Carbon Health!

    I went there for a Covid test, verified at the front desk my insurance and still received later a full bill for the visit. The help desk completely ignored my requests for support and charged my credit card within days. Very disappointing service and the risk of surprise billing, payments clearly come before any care for patients.

    Just had the best experience getting a rapid COVID test here for my son - thought that he would be able to go in by himself so I walked there with my dog. Since my son is under 18 I had to go in with him but the dog could not enter the facility. Rather than have me walk home and back, the security guard said he could stay outside the door with our dog so I could check in my son and be there for his nose swab. It was by far the best customer experience I have had in a long time. People inside were just as helpful. I would definitely recommend this location.

    Unbelievably useless clinic. Of the three times Iā€™ve tried to use it there is almost never an on site clinician. I get this whole world of virtual care creates unreal profit margins BUT you are an urgent care. If you canā€™t treat most urgent care things half the days whatā€™s the use? The one time I did go in for a virtual visit I got prescribed a 10 day course of antibiotics that no good provider would choose given there is a shot that can handle it day of. They just didnā€™t have the recourses to administer it. Please, go somewhere else. Donā€™t let them get away with whatever this is.

    IF you can get Carbon Health to keep an appointment they are great! However their scheduling is very flawed. Iā€™ve had 4 of my 5 last appts cancelled on me, on the day-of (sometimes without written or verbal notice so i found out while I was at their office), and even had an urgent care appt cancelled without any notice. I ended up going to Dignity Health. To reschedule after theyā€˜ve cancelled on you, they put you back in the queue, so itā€™ll be another 2-3 months to get in. So while the care is great, not knowing if or when your appointments will actually happen or not is stressful, especially for urgent health matters.

    Kind and friendly front desk staff and nurses. Queer staff made it feel like a safe space for all, very inclusive. PA was super nice, informative, always explained what they were doing each step of the way, and asked consent before touching me etc each time. It was a very pleasant experience (which is saying something considering I was there for urgent care!) The PA also messaged me on the carbon app afterwards and told me to feel free to let them know through there if I had any further questions afterwards.

    Good location, easy to get appointments, great clinicians, reasonable prices. However, their billing department is abysmal: they take 2 weeks to respond to a simple question and then give a completely useless response. The insurance company called them asking to fix the claim and they did nothing. Update: They re-billed insurance and, of course, to make things worse, overcharged me by $140, charging my credit card with no permission or notification. I never heard back over email either. Their billing is a complete mess.

    We are so thankful to have ended up at this Urgent Care. We arrived near the end of the day with injuries that needed more than a little attention. They brought us back quickly, and were so kind, patient, and caring. They checked us thoroughly and did everything needed with full attention, even though it was late. We are very grateful to the staff of this UC.

    I was seen right away and attended quickly by all professional staff. My only beef is that they didn't have the equipment there to run tests and get to the root of my health issue and have it resolved. I updated my review to lower ranking. I was told someone will call me to set up exam and no one did. Called back to find out the referral wasn't with Sutter Health Plus which is my insurance company. A waste of resources and time. Very frustrating experience.

    The medical service was excellent. The intake/triage nurse was thorough, friendly and careful to gather information accurately. I was also impressed by the orderliness and cleanliness of the facility. The wait time was quite reasonable. In fact, I arrived early in the hope that I might be seen before my appointment time, which I was. The physician on duty was professional, extremely capable, communicative and helpful. She asked pertinent questions, explained her thinking, her plan of action, and things to be on the lookout for should my symptoms change or worsen. A new prescription was called in and she invited me to message her with more information if I was able to access additional test results, reassuring me that the new labs being run would be available in a couple of days. All I all, I received excellent care. Many thanks to Dr. Fitzgerald and the whole staff.

    I stated my morning at The VA attempting to be retested for COVID to no avail. They set an appointment for me 3wks from today. I need to return to work immediately. Enter CARBON HEALTH. I walked right in, showed my id, Medicare and Debit cards, signed my name, was called to a room to be swabbed, Yadda-Yadda-Yadda, I'm at work now

    Lou (X-ray tech) & Dr Janette were incredibly kind & patient while working with my sister. My sister is an exceptional person w/ special needs; the amazing providers helped make her comfortable for her check after a fall injured her arm. Their stellar attention was deeply appreciated- my sister was reassured sheā€™d be ready to hug & make art w/ her favorite arm in no time. Additionally, the scheduling staff saved me time/heartache by routing me to the appropriate clinic to get the imaging she needed before closing time.

    I got an ear infection as a tourist in San Francisco and was treated at Carbon Health. It was my first experience of the US healthcare system and I was worried because I had heard urgent care doctors in the US can be a nightmare. Drs Paula (Tue/Thu) and Jess (Sat) as well as the nursing team were brilliant on the 3 occasions offering great advice and a friendly face throughout a stressful experience for me. Admittedly my travel insurance were paying but the rate didnā€™t seem extortionate by comparison to a next day private GP appointment in the UK. I was able on all 3 occasions to book a next day appointment with a choice of times.

    Went in with a sinus infection & walked out with prescriptions to help. I can't easily get urgent care through my regular providers - so grateful for Carbon Health. They accept my insurance (Medicare & Blue Cross) - I haven't paid a penny. The staff is friendly & efficient. The facilities are clean & accessible. Carbon Health is filling a huge hole in our largely broken health care system.

    Highly recommend using the Carbon Health app. Scheduling appointments is seamless and maintaining follow-up communications on app are very efficient. Both reception ladies, the radiologic tech (Louie), and PA (Paula) were all very helpful, kind, and professional. I had a good experience at the 1998 Market location.

    I missed my apt by going to the wrong address and called to reschedule, which was fine. But I was already arriving and I asked to use the restroom. The receptionist came to the door and said that the staff was on lunch so I couldnā€™t and made a sad face. I think itā€™s weird that an urgent care center would be completely closed in the middle of the day. Also, she is staff. I get the feeling she was couldā€™ve helped me and just wouldnā€™t and itā€™s really just a bummer. But really having no staff available at lunch for urgent care doesnā€™t sound like it helps your patients; one of the most convenient times to not be at work.

    The staff is super helpful when I was there visiting for the very first time. They made me comfortable and assure me that I can get my services rendered easily without hassle. Kudos to the front desk clerk as well. She is extremely professional and courteous. I highly recommend anyone interested to visit this site.

    They were able to see me in a reasonable amount of time. Everyone was super nice and treated me well. From start to finish it took maybe 45 minutes (walk in the door to leaving the door). Facility was clean. Masks were offered. The waiting room had very limited seats, but that didnt impact me as I was more comfortable standing, just something I noticed.

    This is the best medical service Iā€™ve received so far. The team was professional, efficient, and helpful. I walked in with a sprained ankle and received great care in reasonable time! Iā€™d prefer not hurting myself & going to urgent care again, but if I do, Iā€™ll be going to Carbon Health. Their website also clearly states which insurance they accept. Super useful. Thanks again! :)

    Staff was very nice and professional. Waiting area and room were very clean and I was seen right away. My only wish would have been to be able to speak to a real person before making the appointment. Then they could have told me that they were not able to do a skin biopsy which was needed to diagnose my problem. Otherwise people, service and location exceptional.

    I have used Carbon Health for my vaccination needs. The staff has been very courteous and knowledgeable. The appointment wait time is very reasonable and I have been extremely satisfied with interacting with all the staff and technicians. I feel my privacy is respected and the atmosphere in the clinic is very professional. The premises are clean and orderly.

    Clean, simple, easy to book online for routine services. This office on 1998 Market St has done a great job for me with acute care (cuts and such), routine testing and vaccinations. The staff are friendly, efficient, competent and the facility is well organized. I was in and out quickly with no wait to speak of, and felt perfectly taken care of.

    Everyone was super sweet and very professional! I felt super comfortable while I was there! I got a covid test done for travel and got the results back about 15 minutes after leaving! The test was about $60 but was so worth it considering how fast I got my results, it was super quick and easy as well! Great place with great people!!

    I went to Carbon Health for my 2nd booster. I was seen on time for my appointment. The woman giving me the shot was very professional. I asked if she would mind checking my blood pressure because I had been feeling some pressure earlier in the week. She agreed right away without saying ā€œyou are only here for a booster so I cannotā€. She gave me a seamless shot without any pain. The whole experience was excellent- the facility very clean - and I appreciated their expediency in getting me in and out safely. They were wonderful.

    Went for an annual physical with Chelsea Joy Thomson. The staff was polite and prompt, they took blood for a myriad of tests and gave a tetanus shot. All the paperwork is done in advance and the results come back through the Carbon app (which is itself way better than any other health-related apps I've had to use). Honestly this is exactly what I want from a visit: they showed interest in my health and didn't waste my time. I happy with my choice, as someone who wants peace of mind knowing I'm up to date on everything without spending a lot of time or money getting care.

    Every time I have been there as a patient I have received the proper care from the medical personnel. The front desk staff are equally courteous and helpful. The physician assistants are well trained and each time I have needed urgent care I have been treated me with the most professionalism, respect, and empathy. I highly recommend this office. On a recent visit, I arrived 20 minutes late to my appointment and they scheduled me for the next day. I arrived 20 minutes earlier the following day and they saw me right away. I was very satisfied with the attention, and medical care & advice I was given. Thanks!

    They legit lost my blood work after I went in for my regular refill and had the nerve to say they cannot give me any medicine till I can come in and get blood work done. I have been in this med for years and they would prefer I relapse while theyā€™re actively ignoring the malpractice of losing someoneā€™s bloodwork! Do not go here at all. Theyā€™re beyond trash and the PA here are just beyond unprofessional

    I have been with carbon health for one month, and it has been terrible. They will pressure you into contacting them through an app, where multiple different nurses will message you conflicting information. I have been trying to get care with a specialist for over a month, following up with their care team multiple times a week, only to learn that my referral was sent early on and they never told me. They have continued to send conflicting information over message, and also started calling me, each time with new, conflicting information. They are incredibly disorganized here and it will impact your quality of care. I wish I had never signed up with Carbon Health, it's the worst health decision I've made.

    I called ahead of time to make sure they could provide the service I needed. The person I spoke with said I should make an appointment. I did. I showed up on time. Check in. Everything seemed ok. Receptionist had me wait outside since the lobby was full. I wait outside for 10 min past my appointment time and went back in to inquire about when I would be seen. Thatā€™s when I found out they were actually **over** 35 minutes delayed. Other people in the lobby started chiming in with their appointment times which were before or after mine and all were also delayed. The receptionist did not say anything to anyone about the delay. Her excuse was that there were two walk ins before me and they were short staffed. When I asked why would they still keep making appointments and accepting walkins when they couldnā€™t support the patients properly, she kept repeating her lines about how they were short staffed. Poor them! This place doesnā€™t respect your time. Nor do they have the courtesy to tell you about any delay when you make the appointment or check in for your appointment.

    Prompt service and extremely friendly staff. I had a finger injury that ended up needing stitches. I first went to a dignity health urgent care where I was turned away by an extremely rude staff. I ended up at this urgent care and they were amazing. Very friendly, professional, and they took care of my injury. Iā€™d highly recommend them over the other places in the city.

    Carbon Health incorrectly billed my insurance, which rejected my claim because it had the incorrect visit code. When I call carbon health or chat in the app they insist they cant help me and only their billing team can. After contacting their billing team, they tell me the issue is with the lab. However the lab tells me the issue is with Carbon Health, so its all one big run around. Now I spend much of my time worrying if a bill I was incorrectly billed for will be sent to collections. Please avoid the headache of my personal experience.
