Not really a walk-in clinic. More of a schedule your appointment ahead of time clinic. Expectations were not met based on the naming of the clinic. Just an FYI for anyone in the future who may think they can actually walk in and get a same day appointment. I’ve been to places that do operate on a first come first served basis, and places that will leave room for taking walkins. This place is not that. Make sure you schedule your appointment in advance.

The scope of practice is far too narrow, to the point that I don’t really understand why they have this clinic. Anything more complicated than a cold or a uti they’ll send you to urgent care. As a alternative to alleviate the demand at and urgent care, they really aren’t very helpful

I went to this walk-in clinic twice. Both times were related to a cold. I'm always careful when going to a clinic to determine exactly what my out-of-pocket costs would be. Both times the front desk said that there would be no out-of-pocket costs and it would be 100% covered by my insurance. Today, 4 months later, I received a letter from USCB America claiming I had 2 bills sent to collections. I called them and they refused to share any details on where I had service done nor any relevant information for me to determine if this was a legitimate charge. They demanded a payment while on the phone. Along with claiming that I never paid, they tacked on an interest amount. I called Sutter but they were completely unable to find any past-due amounts. The person on the phone said the bill might of come from another department that she couldn't see the specific account details there. She transferred me to that department who was able to find that the 2 visited I had done previously in the year had a balance due in their system and that they sent it to collections. I told the person on the phone how the staff at the walk-in-clinic had said I would not have to pay anything out-of-pocket. The lady on the line said it didn't matter, that I had signed something that said Sutter could arbitrarily charge me for anything and I was obligated to pay it. The lady on the phone said because they had never notified me of the bill, she could request to have the bill removed from collections and placed back in their system but it would take 30-45 days and in that time period USCB could deny the request and they could report me delinquent to the credit bureaus. She then said if I paid right then without disputing the bill then it could be removed from collections and they wouldn't report to the credit bureaus. I went ahead and paid under duress. What company charges their customers whatever they want, never notifies them of their charges, and then sends the charges to thugs to try to collect their fraudulent charges? We will never go to Sutters again.

Horrible horrible, they didn’t even ask for my name, in a patient of Sutter healthcare and was so sad the way they treated me upon entering in to get a checkup at urgent care. I called the Sutter healthcare line and they guide me to go to ER and was upset the way this walk in treated me. If you want to investigate, welcome to connect with me

HORRIBLE SERVICE & DISRESPECTFUL STAFF. They kept me waiting outside the clinic door in the wind for 30 minutes and then one woman just walked in without waiting for her turn, and the staff actually received her ignoring me waiting outside their door. So disappointed in the health service. AVOID THIS PLACE! The person who finally received me, after I told her I have sore throat and ear ache, just ignored checking my throat and just deigned to check out my ears in a very cursory manner. In the end, she treated me as if I was lying and was not actually sick and had wasted her time. She never gave me any prescription or anything! Just sent me home empty handed while feeling insulted, discriminated and revolted! They never told me how much i was going to be charged for that undeserving session, and when I called the number back right away, they dismissed me and did not tell me how much I was going to be charged! This is unacceptable from a so-called professional health center.

This is gonna spund like a shill review, oh well, I need some balance in my reviews because when things arent right, I tend to let my negative feelings rip. So when an organization is doing things right, I'm gonna butter-em up good! Even before I walked in, I got a good feeling about this organization. Good neighborhood, nice looking place. And the outward appearances are exactly what I found on the inside! Receptionist was genuinely warm, and intelligent. After doing some short paperwork, the check-in person was cheerful and efficient. I noticed everything here is cutting edge! Things continued on a positive note when I met the NP. She was also very smart and kind. It seems like people here really like their jobs. Great morale!

We were travelling from New Zealand and we walked in and were seen straight away. They are the most professional , warm and wonderful people to visit. Thank you to the great staff at the Sutter Walk in Care centre in King Street.

Sincerely hope they do not bill me. Was in and out within 15 minutes. Most limited walk-in clinic I've been to - they couldn't even remove a finger splinter that was right under the skin of my finger pad. I was redirected to urgent care and walked out with a set of tweezers and scissors from the NP on schedule (I'll refrain from publicly naming her). Apparently the quality of care depends on the practitioner in the clinic. Guess I just wasn't lucky. The front desk staff was super kind, though. I would rate her 5/5 for being so sweet and helpful with redirecting me to the most efficient urgent care and for her overall attitude. Unfortunately still rating this place one star since I could not get treatment.

I've been to the Walk-In Care Center on King Street a handful of times and I've always been impressed by their excellent service. Everyone is welcoming, kind, and committed to providing a quality experience. Scheduling had always been convenient when immediate attention isn't possible and I feel like everyone is willing to truly listen to my needs. This place truly stands out for providing the best medical services I've received since I moved to the Bay Area.

The appointment was easy to make, I was called for pre-call intake, and despite a snag in using my mobile device for the video consultation (I had to use the Sutter Health website on my desktop computer), once connected the process was smooth. The doctor (Maria) was friendly, and called me back twice with follow-up information. A great alternative when an office visit is impossible.

It was easy to make an appointment in MyChart. The PA quickly called me to confirm some details, and assess that a walk-in visit was most appropriate vs urgent care or ER. When we arrived right on time the medical assistant was expecting us, and we walked directly into an exam room. The exam was quick and painless. Ultimately the PA decided to refer us to the ER for more diagnostic testing, because this site has rather limited capabilities in that regard. Traffic/parking may be an issue on game days. Plan to leave extra time for traffic/parking on game day, and/or to have someone else drive in case you need to get out of the car and walk the last block or two.

Sent to King Street Urgent care, took cab and it was CLOSED NO NOTICE ON DOOR OF CLOSURE. I'M 69 YEARS OLD AND WAS SICK. Took cab home. King St. Location would require 3 buses to get from Nob Hill. Sorry excuse for Health Care.

Same day appointment for flu shot easy peasy. Staff friendly. Wish they did urgent care, but then wait would be longer.

I wasn’t even aware that this clinic existed but it was so easy. I just walked right in on a Friday afternoon and they were able to help me immediately. The staff was so friendly, and really listened! The clinic is so clean and nice and I will be back for my flu shot!

Same day appointment with a ton of time choices. They saw me early. The MA and physician were awesome. 10 minutes and I got everything I needed for my nagging cough and a solid plan should it not resolve. The fastest and most efficient clinic appointment ever!

The most convenient and efficient way for me to see a doctor right away. The Staff supporting this experience were fantastic! The scheduling for lab went smoothly and my lab experience was fast and painless. I teleconferenced in at 1130am, went to lab around 1230am, got my prescription in evening. I feel so much better in less than 24 hours. I would definitely do this again. I do caution that some problems cannot be done over teleconference.

My first appointment was a bust because I did it on a computer and did not know it was supposed to be on a cell phone or tablet. My second appointment I was able to speak to the provider but it froze many times and our communication was not that good. But, it meet my need for pavlovix.

Since we don't have walk-in or urgent care in my area, this is the closest available. However, I have to say it is a pleasure going - even when sick. Appointments are treated quickly and the staff is fabulous. Support staff are friendly and caring and the care staff are great, providing clear explanations of what is going on and clear set of options for treatment. Facility is really nice too.

My wife went here to get urgent care. They're closed at 12:45pm. I call the number and they tell me they're closed today and tomorrow due to staffing. I asked what the nearest urgent care to get my wife to is. She tells me "Berkeley". There are no other urgent cares in network in SF, so i asked the lady on the phone "so the next step is to take her to the ER?" She said "It seems so". The ER?! Why do we pay $1,000 a month to have 0 urgent facilities around us? This is healthcare? Unacceptable and deplorable. I'm leaving Sutter Immediately.

I found the area for urgent care and checked in. I waited about 5 minutes before being called. The nurse checked on vitals. The doctor cane in shortly afterwards. Pretty much on time for my appointment time.

Not quite walk-in but close...I had to schedule an appointment for 30 minutes later. When I came back though, they immediately had a room ready for me, and they were able to get the tests I needed done quickly. I will say this place is probably best suited to situations like a cold, strep throat, flu, etc. where they can run some tests, give you a prescription, and get you on your way. For more complex issues, you'll probably need to go to an actual urgent care.

I got to the walk in clinic on time. The medical assistant was prompt in checking me in. I was directed to a room where I had my vital statistics taken. Then I sat and waited. I waited at least 20 minutes in the room before the NP showed up. She was somewhat abrupt in her approach making a statement as to the possible cause of the skin infection I had. I felt I had to reiterate what I said to the MA. Needless stress considering my malady was not that shockingly serious.

I went in for a Covid test with an appointment. I was in & out in no time! This location worked pretty well for me as I didn't have to lose a lot of time from work by going in super late or coming home super early. I simply went a bit late for lunch. It was a bit of a walk from my office but I can always use the exercise!

Would have been 5 stars if the front desk person didn’t rush me out the door and she didn’t want me to make the payment while I was there, I Clearly said I can wait but she just open the door for me to leave and told me to pay online when I clearly said the payment didn’t go thru and I wanted to make sure I pay in person. Believe me I try to do as much online but if I need to make a payment or anything while at the office the person shouldn’t avoid helping. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience with the doctor that helped me and making sure We covers all questions and concerns.

In the limited times I have needed medical care. Sutter has been absolutely the BEST. From the receptionist, to Dr Julie Bautista, this place is all around first-class. I never leave reviews, but this place deserves 10-stars. Clean, Knowledgeable, limited wait time, you will be taken care of if you go here. Thank you Sutter for such a positive experience. -Mike M
