I
went
to
this
walk-in
clinic
twice.
Both
times
were
related
to
a
cold.
I'm
always
careful
when
going
to
a
clinic
to
determine
exactly
what
my
out-of-pocket
costs
would
be.
Both
times
the
front
desk
said
that
there
would
be
no
out-of-pocket
costs
and
it
would
be
100%
covered
by
my
insurance.
Today,
4
months
later,
I
received
a
letter
from
USCB
America
claiming
I
had
2
bills
sent
to
collections.
I
called
them
and
they
refused
to
share
any
details
on
where
I
had
service
done
nor
any
relevant
information
for
me
to
determine
if
this
was
a
legitimate
charge.
They
demanded
a
payment
while
on
the
phone.
Along
with
claiming
that
I
never
paid,
they
tacked
on
an
interest
amount.
I
called
Sutter
but
they
were
completely
unable
to
find
any
past-due
amounts.
The
person
on
the
phone
said
the
bill
might
of
come
from
another
department
that
she
couldn't
see
the
specific
account
details
there.
She
transferred
me
to
that
department
who
was
able
to
find
that
the
2
visited
I
had
done
previously
in
the
year
had
a
balance
due
in
their
system
and
that
they
sent
it
to
collections.
I
told
the
person
on
the
phone
how
the
staff
at
the
walk-in-clinic
had
said
I
would
not
have
to
pay
anything
out-of-pocket.
The
lady
on
the
line
said
it
didn't
matter,
that
I
had
signed
something
that
said
Sutter
could
arbitrarily
charge
me
for
anything
and
I
was
obligated
to
pay
it.
The
lady
on
the
phone
said
because
they
had
never
notified
me
of
the
bill,
she
could
request
to
have
the
bill
removed
from
collections
and
placed
back
in
their
system
but
it
would
take
30-45
days
and
in
that
time
period
USCB
could
deny
the
request
and
they
could
report
me
delinquent
to
the
credit
bureaus.
She
then
said
if
I
paid
right
then
without
disputing
the
bill
then
it
could
be
removed
from
collections
and
they
wouldn't
report
to
the
credit
bureaus.
I
went
ahead
and
paid
under
duress.
What
company
charges
their
customers
whatever
they
want,
never
notifies
them
of
their
charges,
and
then
sends
the
charges
to
thugs
to
try
to
collect
their
fraudulent
charges?
We
will
never
go
to
Sutters
again.
