I'm going to Dignity Health. Sounds good now.

This healthcare clinic offers programs that save lives, heal bodies and hearts! Great services! They do what most healthcare workers fail to do, meet the Ct where they're at no matter what is going on in their life. Met so many great folks that really made a huge difference. Just in case you don't know. Here's some of the stuff I know goes on there 1. Medical - from foot and tooth checks to birth control support and connections w/ SFGH and UCSF referrals 2. Social Workers to connect to more appropriate mental health services as needed. 3. OBOT - office based opioid treatment suboxone 4. 1/2 day private clinic for folks identifying as transgender or non-binary/fluid 5. wonderful groups at least before the shelter-in-place 6. accessible location

Rude front desk staff, roundabout policies, and an extremely slow dirty clinic in the Tenderloin. Arrive about 1 hour before your appointment and even then will wait another hour to be seen. Expect to wait approximately 5 minutes for anyone to answer the phone. Staff do not seem very educated or qualified for basic healthcare and customer satisfaction services. Getting assistance with doctor's notes, prescriptions, setting up appointments, and referrals are all as painful pulling teeth. This clinic makes SF General look like a palace. Tuesdays are transgender health days where the front doors are locked and the staff gawk at patients.

Tom Waddell Clinic is a VERY necessary, responsive inner city healthcare provider! Both Tom Waddell Urgent Care Clinic and Tom Waddell Urban Health Clinic are San Francisco City and County support services for low-income and homeless individuals living with substance use, mental health and physical healthcare needs. Dr. Doug Price-Hanson is a responsive, innovative physician who has worked to support my healthy well-being for over 15 years.

This is an excellent resource for health care in the Tenderloin. I have been going there for 10 years. I have a wonderful doctor & they take care of everything I need. If the staff seems rude you might ask yourself how you would feel servicing a lot of deranged patients. People often take over the restrooms, locking themselves inside & making a complete mess of the facilities. It's rare if anyone else can use them once they are gone.

You don't need an appointment. You can just walk in. It is very clean. The service is fast . No waiting around with a bunch of sick people. The staff was very polite kind and informative. They really seemed to care about the well-being of there patience. It was very near closing time when I came in and they didn't make me feel rushed. They took there time and did a thorough job even though they had to stay a little longer.

Super rude customer service over the phone. I haven't had to deal with this rude of a person for a long time. Comments like "oh God" and acting like I am mentally disabled and couldn't understand her whilst yelling a phone number I didn't ask her to give me because I was already bothered by her attitude and trying to end the conversation. Quite shocking this unnecessary rudeness. When I pointed out to her how rude she is acting, she flipped out even more. Unbelievable.

My appointed nurse at the time of my visit, was very caring and transparent. They did what they could to address my concerns. They told me that patient visits are set on a 30 minute timer due to an influx of patients. It's shameful to know that a supposed Federally Regulated institution like Tom Waddell Clinic is compromised by leading groups who aim to exploit people by undermining their needs due to their financial situations. My appointed nurse was also very clear that Tom Waddell clinic doesn't provide patients with on-site dental or vision services; which was something that my insurance company assured me they did. It's a shame to know that the talents of great nurses and great front house staff are being wasted in a place like Tom Waddell clinic.

Endured some terrible wait time music during Sunday, a non busy time, and then got hung up on. Tried again and hung up after 15 minutes. You need a save your place in line feature like modern places

I've transferred my gender confirmation medical care to them from Lyon Martin where they had deliberately gone out of the way to not help me as long as they could, where I was watching others go from start to finish in 15 months I've been there for 10 years and only about half way through this

Part of the Orwellian medical industrial complex. Given its place in that structure, it does well.
