This place is a real treasure. I came here in 2010 before traveling through S. America and Africa. I came back last month to prepare for a trip to the Andes and Amazon. I came away both times wondering what travelers do when they don't have access to a place like AITC. The staff and nurses are informative, organized, and personable. They manage to be efficient without being cold or rude. And they always guide me gently toward a level-headed understanding of how to prepare for my trip in terms of health risks. Plus some of their medicines are significantly cheaper than the versions sold at chain pharmacies. Highly recommended.

I had 3 vaccine injections and a TB test as part of the Adjustment of Status for immigration. The guy at the door doing the paperwork admission and the rest of the staff were both friendly and professional. The Nurse Manager, Pamela, who took my blood and administered the vaccines was absolutely wonderful. Thank you to all of you.

We travel internationally fairly regularly, and I have gone to see Robbie for years any time our travels take us somewhere we need to take extra precautions. She is extremely knowledgeable and efficient in getting you prepared for your trip so you can be well for it and have the best preparations should something go awry abroad health wise. This year, I brought my pre-school-aged daughter, and Robbie was masterful at engaging her and distracting her when it came time for travel immunizations. She is always professional and pleasant, and although we have other doctors for our primary care, we go to Robbie for our travel health needs, because she really is the best!

Visited this clinic for immunizations prior to a trip to Tanzania, with no prior knowledge of what was required. Appointment scheduling was prompt, reasonable, and flexible. Nurses were also able to give me clear guidelines for the "when" of immunization before I was even scheduled: very helpful! Upon visiting I found all staff cheerful, timely, and professional. The nurse who aided me (Robin) was both clear, informative, and a delight (not something I'm used to for one wielding a needle!). They were also able to process my immunizations through my insurance, which was very helpful. Would and will visit again, and will suggests this great service to anyone in need of immunizations. Fantastic job, all.

Everything about this place is perfect. Our nurse, Robbie, was friendly, warm, and well-traveled. Full of advice and helpful hints, she cared about our trip, our experience, and the best way to prepare ourselves for it. The whole place is laid out in a eclectic and casual setting, with international art all over, and it’s right inside the Department of Health building, which makes you feel legitimate and safe. Thank you Robbie, and everyone here for the excellent service!

Such an incredible experience! I’m a big traveler but never really put much effort into learning about precociounary measures when it comes to health. Coming here, I not only received the vaccinations I needed in a timely manner (and received a dum-dum for handling the shot so well), but also had the pleasure of being paired with Robbie, a charming and super knowledgeable nurse. She walked me through techniques on preventing mosquito bites, diarrhea, rabies and exactly how to precede if I do encounter anything of the like. She recommended products but it never felt like she was selling anything (she even told be the places to get the best deals). What’s more? She relayed all this info in a way that was funny and totally understandable for a simpleton like like myself. Highly recommended and hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with health related visits.

The AITC Immunization & Travel Clinic has treated me very well. I have interacted with them on a few occasions. The clinic staff is very nice and knowledgeable and have helped my wife and I secure vaccinations for our upcoming trips. During our most recent trip we ran into a difficulty, apparently due to miscommunication, and the administration worked with my wife to resolve the issue. Although initially very frustrating, the team at the Travel Clinic worked with us to resolve the issue and took a genuine interest in resolving the issue promptly and fairly. They provide what the services, as outline on their website, but most importantly they worked to resolve any issues as they arise. After initial frustration I can't speak more highly of how they helped resolve any issues. Certainly the AITC Clinic is a benefit to the people of San Francisco and you should utilize them for your Travel Immunizations.

Amazing!! I met with Robbie, who was probably the kindest doctor I’ve ever been to. So knowledgeable, and took cost/time into account when making recommendations. I wish I could have her as a primary MD! Recommend to anyone who is traveling

AITC was a GODSEND. They’re the most affordable in the city and beyond. Extremely friendly, fast, and informative staff who helped me very last minute with all sorts of travel tips. I was handed a packet for my destination with holistic, culturally-sensitive advice I’ll be following to a tee! Special thanks to Robbie, who went above and beyond with region-specific travel advice. Do NOT go anywhere else — AITC is a blessing.

Fantastic agency, really amazing customer service. Super nice people when you arrive and Nurse Lisa was extremely knowledgeable about these vaccines and many things related. I highly recommend that you go here. They also give you a booklet of information that is extremely helpful. If you are traveling somewhere outside of Europe, they have so much information and they are very very helpful.

😠 Absolute rip off. They don’t post prices on the website and will charge you a $99 “consultation” fee on top of whatever vaccine you’re getting. I made an appointment for the next day, and then called to find out how much it would be. They are charging nearly $500 for a vaccine that is available a...
