I was having very sharp pains with my ankle whenever I walked up/down stairs. I went to a regular foot doctor and they took x-rays and there was no bone damage and they recommended I stay off it. It wasn't getting better after about 3-4 days so I went to Dr. Korian and explained my injury. She performed dry needling on my calf as it was very tight. First time I've ever had this done but it helped me so much! The releasing of the tension in my calf helped ease up all the tension in my ankle. The next day I felt so much better. I have been able to work out and perform regular activities ever since the dry needling. Initially it really was one of those injuries I was quite concerned how long it would take to heal. 100% recommend!

Simply put, I couldn't have had a better experience or recommend Elanita more. I didn't know quite what to expect, but I was warmly greeted and she took the time to explain my different options. And when I say "took the time," I really mean it: Elanita genuinely cares about her patients and wants to make sure they get the right treatment. After listening to what was going on (knee issues), she laid out the details of each treatment option and what she thought made the most sense. For someone who hasn't seen an acupuncturist before, this is tremendously helpful, and Elanita explained it in a patient, zero pressure way. And I definitely picked the right treatment. I've had four knee surgeries (for meniscus tears) in the past 5 years, and have had chronic, lingering pain since the second one. I've tried a lot of things - CBD creams, steroid injections, light cycling, stretching, etc. - but none has made significant improvements. The acupuncture did. Since I received the treatment, my knee is feeling a ton better. For someone who thought the pain would never go away, I can't tell you how huge this is; you can't put a price on the value received from alleviating chronic pain. I'll definitely be back again, and can't recommend Elanita highly enough as a person or business owner.

I've been coming to Laurie for 8 months now and it has completely changed my life. I had severe anxiety and my hormones were completely off. I didn't have my period for 9 months, I had dozens of tests done and no one was able to figure out what was wrong. Within two months of going to Laurie my issues were resolved and have been since. My hormones are balanced and my anxiety levels are much lower. Laurie listens and truly cares about her clients.

Dr. Korian is wonderful. I had my first experience with microneedling/nanoneedling today and the entire experience was just the pampering I needed. I wasn't expecting my session to be relaxing and luxurious, but that it was. The clinic space was very serene and a refreshing little oasis in the middle Of the city. Dr. Korian has such grounding energy, and was very thorough and attentive, taking the time to answer any questions I had. I look forward to my next session and to seeing my results over time.

I cannot recommend Elanita Korian enough! She is a skilled acupuncturist and also a friendly, professional and kind practitioner. I saw her for several session while undergoing fertility treatment. She was knowledgeable and clearly experienced in the whole process. The sessions with her were such a wonderful break from the stress of my work and all the doctors appointments. I have no doubt that the calm she provided along with the fine tuning of my hormones helped in my achieving my dream of being a mother.

Had an awesome facial acupuncture session!

Wow! I just did my first microneedle treatment and it was a great experience and my skin looks amazing already! For those of you constantly grinding to the point of exhaustion, who don’t want to look the way you feel, take 90 mins and try this. It was actually quite a relaxing process and pain free. Elanita was excellent about checking in with me to make sure I wasn’t silently wishing something were different, which is great for one who might not naturally speak up. What I was shocked by, is that I only had a whiff of redness right after, and none the next day. My face looks radiant and youthful, and I feel like I’ve been let in on a fantastic secret. The fountain of youth - fostering your bodies own innate response to generate collagen! Thank you!!

Elanita Korian made me feel perhaps the best I’ve ever felt, in one of the worst weeks of my life. I contacted her the week I came down with Bell’s Palsy (partial facial paralysis) after my doctor said acupuncture might help. I was a mess—scared and unsure of what was going on with my body. After a quick phone consultation, Elanita fit me into her busy schedule, and I’m so grateful that she did. Elanita did acupuncture on my face, hands, and feet, LED light therapy on my face, and light cupping on my face, as well as using essential oils. I’d never had acupuncture before seeing Elanita, so I had no idea what to expect, but afterward, I felt lighter. I felt like I was floating and like a burden had been lifted. I felt really cared for at a moment when I needed someone to care for me. Her demeanor is calming, and I felt like she was really listening to me. Elanita followed up by recommending an iron and herb supplement for energy—I’ve been taking it and I think it’s helpful—and she immediately sent notes about me to a different acupuncturist I planned to see who takes my insurance. Her practice is conveniently located downtown, right by Muni and BART, and the space is lovely. I’d had nothing to compare my visit to at the time, but now I’ve been to a couple of acupuncturists who take my insurance, and there’s just no comparison. Other acupuncturists I’ve seen are just people sticking needles in my face and body, which might or might not help, but seeing Elanita was transformative. I’m planning to go back to Elanita and splurge on paying out of pocket because I’ve never felt so good in my life.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Korian for the past year for a variety of musculoskeletal issues. I remember the first time I met her, I got this overwhelming sense that I was in good hands. Her needling is painless and effective, and her office is warm and relaxing. I always leave feeling better and more relaxed. Cannot recommend more!
