This review is definitely long over do. My husband and I went on a Seaplane Adventures tour years ago. It was an experience that we enjoyed so much that we think about it and tell people about it all the time. Out of all the times we have been to San Francisco and all the tours and different ways that we have explored the city, the seaplane tour will forever be our most favorite of all! We have officially seen San Francisco on every level, and by that I mean, we’ve done walking tours, cars, the top deck of the big bus tours and of course this. I will say, there are other types of tours out that we have been on that are more “informative”…but nothing beats the views of being thousands of feet above the city. My husband isn’t the biggest fan of heights, but the view was so spectacular that he was more focused on what the pilot was saying and pointing out that he didn’t think much about the height. Take off and landing was very smooth, probably better than a regular helicopter. I would 1,000% recommend this experience time and time again to anyone looking for such a unique adventure. It is the perfect anniversary/date night, birthday celebration activity to do. I can’t wait to do it again one day. It is definitely one of my most favorite memories that I will never forget!

We had an amazing experience taking a tour with sea plane adventures. Arrived at their office and parked outside, plenty of parking. Quick document check and we were on our way to the plane. Our pilot got us strapped in and was very entertaining giving us all the small/big details throughout the tour. We got amazing views of Sausalito, Parts of Muir beach, golden gate, Alcatraz and sf city. I would suggest sitting on the left to get the best view of Golden gate but either way you are going to get awesome views. The plane we took accommodated 6 people including the pilot. 2 upfront, 2 in middle and 2 at the back. Their sea planes are old but we’ll maintained and we had a great experience. They have a restroom in their office. Would definitely recommend this experience for anyone visiting San Francisco.

Highly recommend this experience! Our pilot/ guide was very friendly, funny and knew how to handle a slightly nervous flyer (me). The views were incredible- keep up the good work!

We had to listen to pilot’s tour. Would have been nice if we had a chance to talk let alone speak(com unit only on when guide spoke). Very hyped pilot did not give any consideration to passengers until a child cried. $500 plus could provide better service. The views were spectacular though.

My youngest daughter has been obsessed with “her yellow sea plane” since she was a toddler so it was only natural to surprise her with a seaplane tour on her 7th birthday aboard “her” plane. Fred was an amazing pilot! He made us feel comfortable and was very thorough in our tour, giving us all of the wonderful history of the area. As locals, we didn’t expect to learn much but we did! Our 10-year old son sat in the front with Fred as the “co-pilot”. Only their microphones were working so we all got to hear their “commentary” on the history of the area. A wonderful history lesson for kids and adults! I was nervous boarding the plane but once we took off and got used to the sensation, I felt at ease and mesmerized by the beautiful views. My daughter felt a little woozy so Fred made sure to stay steady and not do any maneuvering that would make her feel ill. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and we are so grateful we got to do this.

Wow what an experience! I took a flight with my wife and daughter around the bay and city. The lady in reception was a delight over the phone and face to face. The only slight negative was the charmless pilot. There are two so it's a 50/50 situation and he may have been having an off day! A propley worth while thing to do and not crazy expensive either..

Awesome experience! Fred, my pilot, and the rest of the staff made me feel welcome and the operation was clearly well run. The 1hr tour was well worth the money with gorgeous up close views of both the natural beauty of the coast and the city and surrounding historic structures of San Francisco itself. Recommend a time near sunset if possible.

Fantastic trip. 1) Easy, hassle free booking and check in. 2) Never before seen views of San Francisco, Sausalito, Bay Bridge, Angel island, Alcatraz and so much more... 3) Our pilot, Bruce, was very charming and kept us entertained and informed throughout the flight. Note: I took the 1 hour flight

Great 30 minute trip with our pilot Daniel, didn’t stop smiling from start to finish. Great views over SF and to fly between the uprights of the Golden Gate Bridge was amazing!

We had a great time!! Aaron our pilot and the owner told us about everything we could see out the windows. Safe, comfortable seating with great visibility. I recommend it to everyone. Take off and landing smoother than any United Airline flight I've taken.

We enjoyed a 45' San Francisco Bay area tour. It was awesome, really felt very safe and is certainly the best way to have an overview of the area, with great views from above. Comments by the pilot were interesting and fun, and it was an exceptional experience to fly on a vintage seaplane. Highly recommended !

I decided to do seaplane adventures as a birthday gift for my boyfriend and purchased the 60 minute tour. Had an amazing time. Loved our pilot's humor and the views were amazing. Totally worth it. Only slight downside is that there is a 3 seat minimum. I was worried I was going to have to pay extra. Luckily, another couple joined us.

We experienced champagne on arrival, followed by a fantastic tour of the bay area. Our pilot was knowledgeable, whitty and very skilled. We would highly recommend

We did the Greater Bay Area flight on Sunday w Daniel flying and had a really nice trip! Location is easy to find, right off 101, parking is np, and staff was great and sped through check in. Nothing was rushed, everyone was friendly. Flying in the Beaver is good fun - such a classic plane, and a blast to fly off the water! Daniel did a great job with the winds that day, and narrating points of interest along the way. Smooth flight and great views of the coast and the city. The only bummer is a baseball game in the city restricted flying near downtown - but that's out of everyone's control. Oh well... next time! Would definitely recommend to anyone interesting in flight-seeing or an aviation fan. ( Some great spots to eat and wander around in Sausalito after the flight, as a bonus )

The tour was fun but the owner was very rude the entire time we spoke. We were with friends who wanted to kayak the area and he claimed he owned the entire bay and that they weren't allowed to kayak; noting that many others were kayaking the bay since its a public waterway. His tone was mocking and had very little respect for those who weren't giving him money.

One of the best ways to see San Francisco is from a sea plane. The pilot was very knowledgeable and professional. Great for tourists or locals, they are also flexible with rescheduling due to weather or other reasons. Highly recommend
