Super fun playground with a mixture of equipment for both younger and older children. Perfect for having a picnic with family or friends and if you walk up to the top of the park you will be rewarded with amazing views and can see the gold painted fire hydrant that saved the mission in the fires after the 1906 earthquake

This place is so live!! Even though it was crowded- every group maintained distance from other group. It was good to see people around after so long enjoying and just relaxing! Nice view to painted ladies and San Francisco city skyline too.

Except on hot days it's a great place to play, keep an eye on little ones though. No fence and many places to hide, my husband and I stake out opposite sides so we have an eye on our 4 year old at all times. It's more of a place for the older children but he has a blast and loves it here. Been going to this park since I was 8. It has changed a lot over the years. They have a great view of the city from the hill.

Nice to see the playground during our visit and walk around Mission Dolores Park. The park is big and the views of the city skyline are stunning. Goes to explain why property here is this expensive! We were in time to watch the sunset and then slowly stroll through the park, before heading down towards Valencia Street to look for someplace to have dinner! Definitely a place to visit to anyone visiting SFO!

Playground is super fun for kids. Also, there's lots of space for a family and friends gathering with an incredible view of the city.

The best children's playground I have seen in San Francisco. It attracts both little boys and big boys.

Beautiful playground in the middle of the city. Since this playground is in front of the city hall it’s very clean and well maintained. In face you can not go into a playground with accommodated by a child. Ask me know I know😄. The friendly security guy explained the situation and thank you for leaving. All the swings and climbing area are clean and graffiti free.

This park is truly a gem, offering stunning city vistas that can be enjoyed by both kids and adults alike. The towering slide is particularly popular, and my daughter eagerly looks forward to our visits here. It's not just a children's paradise; adults can also find their own slice of tranquility. There are ample tables, making it ideal for picnics or just bringing along your lunch. The expansive grassy areas are perfect for laying out a blanket and lounging under the sky. However, it's worth noting that it can get quite bustling, especially during weekends, so a bit of planning might be in order. We've even hosted memorable birthday parties for our kids in this beautiful setting, and it always ensures a delightful time for everyone.

Very good but often some parts of shady area. But it is a good place to open a drink and spend a couple hours and if you Have kids don’t worry. There is a full on playground good

I took my niece here and she loved it! Beautiful views of the city too while the kids are playing.

Easily one of the best and most extensive playgrounds for kids. Tons of activities for our 2 year old to enjoy (swings, slides, bouncy seats) all in a safe environment with a mix of rubber, sand, and grass. Our little one could easily spend an hour here.

Spacious and well-maintained. The place was swarming with summer campers on the Friday we went, but we still found plenty of space for us. Totally beautiful setting in Mission Dolores Park- save time to do a little walk around the rest of the park

Super clean, fun and whimsical. Kids and parents had a blast. Huge lawn to let the doggo roam off leash. The bathrooms were closed when we went, but there were bathrooms on the opposite end of the park that were open.

A park with the best view in town. Leaning towards older kids, still has fun for pint sized ones

Great city park with huge play area, fields, bathrooms, and view of the SFO skyline. Park was busy with people on a blustery, cold day in January. So probably quite busy on nicer days. Playground is a bit adventure-y. Some more risky climbing and running allowed. There's a sand area and toddler zone. Swing sets, a couple slides. Nicely laid out. My personal gripe is the boulder rocks spread throughout the area, embedded in the design. I never understand these...all it takes is for a sprinting kid to trip and smash headlong into any number of these boulders. TBI in the making. I get it. Kids need to learn how to navigate their world. These rocks though seem a poor choice of helping them learn. Thankfully, as I observed the area with my kids and all those playing, no one got injured. A few close calls...but that's life isn't it? Definitely a great park for pretty much any park need.

Very nice playground. It has a variety of slides, swings, climbing areas and other stuff. Kiddos will definitely be able to find a way to pump out some energy. The park is open to public, between now and then people passes around wearing unusual stuff(very seldom stuff could be inappropriate) that catches kids eyes so you might have to answer some 'why' questions. One more thing, marijuana smell fills the surrounding area.
