We had a great time. We have taken several other walking tours in SF, it is always nice to see the other side, instead of the tourist attractions that everyone else goes to. Britt was a great speaker and kept the group moving at a comfortable pace. I would not hesitate to take another tour from Free Tours by Foot in the future.

This past Thanksgiving, a friend and I decided to be tourists in our own city. I knew that there was much I didn't know about SF, but I didn't expect to learn so much about it! Ted (our tour guide) was an encyclopedia of random SF facts and was able to answer all of our questions. If I could be half the tour guide Ted is, I could die a happy man. Seriously. He even showed us a secret spot with a beeaauuuutiful panoramic view of the bay. And I mean beautiful. It almost looks like Santorini. If you take off your glasses and absorb the view in all its magnificent blurriness, you might even forget that you're not in Greece!

I had two great tours with Britt! They were "The Original SF Tour" and "Secrets, Scandals, and Scoundrels," and they were both paced very well and featured cool spots in the city. Britt is a great storyteller, and he shared fascinating and memorable stories about the history and characters of San Francisco. He is enthusiastic and friendly and has great recommendations for other activities in the city. Would highly recommend!

One of my most favorite things to do when I travel is to do a guided waking tour. It changes your entire experience of a city when you learn a bit of it's history. We did the SF in one day, five-hour tour, learning about the Gold Rush-era buildings, Nob Hill mansions and palaces, the history of Chinatown, North Beach/Little Italy, the biggest cathedral in the city, and the modern day downtown skyscrapers. We also took an obligatory cable car ride and learned how those came to be! My most favorite part of travel is taking back with me a little bit of the history. Thank you to our very wonderful and funny your guide Britt for taking us on such an adventure! People, do what the company recommends and dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes. Afterall, it is San Francisco and there will always be funny weather and a bit of hill climbing. Was sad to see folks on my tour struggle on a five hour with heels/wedges.

We did a tour of San Francisco with Vicky, who was a wonderful guide! She brought us to many different areas of the city including Chinatown, North Beach (Little Italy) and the financial district. She also had a great list of food recommendations. Would highly recommend.

Great walking tour! Vicky, our guide, was brilliant. So knowledgeable about a wide variety of subjects. And she gave out sweets for answering questions! We did the original tour which starter at Union Square and covered mostly China Town and little Italy. Would highly recommend!

We had a Brooklyn Bridge twilight tour with John G. Out of all the things we did in out week in New York City, this by far was the highlight of our trip. John was very informative, interacted well with his group and made the entire process very enjoyable. He definitely fulfilled on his promise to save the best for last. When he took us out by the carousel at the very end of our tour, it was breathtaking. We were truly in awe of the sight of the skyline lit up. Very well done John. We will be looking for these tours in other cities from this point forward. Thanks John for a truly great experience Kevin and Kay Wisconsin

We had a great time on our Brooklyn Bridge tour. Our tour guide. John Gallagher, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic!! We started at City Hall Park where John gave us some interesting historical information. We then walked across the bridge. We stopped several times where John pointed out places of interest. Walking off the bridge and it's noisy "hustle and bustle" we entered the quiet area of Brooklyn Heights where John gave us lots of information about the history of the area. Then, it was off to DUMBO where we took the iconic picture of the Manhatten Bridge. The tour had to come to an end and no better place than the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory where we enjoyed some homemade ice cream!! This was a great tour and we highly recommend it!!

Taken a San Francisco Walking Tour guided by Britt! Very nice to learn about the history of San Francisco, especially elaborate on China Town. Britt was very knowledgeable and friendly. There's a pit stop for some water and a restroom halfway - so no worries about that. Very satisfied with the tour - just make sure you English is good, since he talks fast! :)

A great way to get to know the city is by taking a walking tour. With a knowledgeable and excited guide as Victoria (Vicky), you will see the gems only locals know about. When asked about their highlights of the day, my kids said "Vicky's tour" and that means a lot! We recommend the tour very much. Thank you, Vicky!

We took the "All in one" tour with britt and it was great. We saw nice places and heard interesting stories about the city. He's a real expert.

Was a decent enough tour. Our guide was fairly new and had a decent grasp of the key stories but not much knowledge beyond that to really flesh it out.

Victoria was wonderful, caring and knowledgeable. She remembered everyone's name, did trivia and gave prizes to winners. A great way to learn about the city.

Brian was both entertaining and well versed in the history of the freedom trail providing much information that we never saw in mainstream history books. The walk was easy (all sidewalks), and his presentation was fun - not just a robotic oration. Great time!

Fantastic way to see the gems of the city, learn the most interesting stories and burn a few calories to boot. Britt is an organized, informative, entertaining and down to earth dude who is a great guide. I had no idea SF was so interesting. Highly recommended.

My friends and I had the pleasure of taking the Original SF Tour with Vicky. It was a marvelous experience. Vicky was so nice, friendly, and knowledgeable; she left us enamored with that amazing city. Highly recommended!

This was an awesome way to get to know some of the not-so-common history of San Francisco and be introduced to the different neighbourhoods of the city. Our tour guide Britt was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and an engaging presenter. I will definitely be doing one of these tours the next time I'm on vacation!

Almost 3 hour tour of San Franciaco with Britt. The city is wonderful but this experience made it unforgettable. So many curiosities, so many stories, so many places visited! Britt is exceptional and very knowledgeable. Don't miss this opportunity if you are in town!
