Very comfortable accommodations! Great mattress and pillows, really good night sleep awaking to the smells of fresh brewed coffee and breakfast! Delightful hosts! Beautiful historic Victorian with easy access to restaurants. We will be back!

I adore this place - it's a gorgeous home with a very warm welcome. The rooms are full of character and staying here just feels like coming home (but to the home you might wish you lived in). On top of that, John and Joan are the perfect hosts and they serve the best bread you've ever had at breakfast. Finally - the area, Hayes Valley, is fully of lively restaurants and shops within close walking distance. I'd never stay anywhere else.

Hands down the BEST place to stay in San Francisco. The best location, best breakfast, most dedicated people running it, most beautiful house in the area, most elegant unpretentious decoration, most comfortable spacious rooms, most adorable dogs. This place is our first choice and second home. In fact, we find ways to go to SF just because we miss the people at The Parsonage so much!

We had an amazing stay at The Parsonage and it was an absolute highlight of our road trip! Laura and Matt were great hosts and were able to give us the best tips for San Francisco. The Parsonage itself was beautifully decorated and maintained and it was like staying on a film set. A truly magical experience!

Beautiful house with great hosts. It's a family run business and the family were very helpful when our flight was cancelled last minute. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable rooms in an interesting building and nice neighborhood.

We absolutely loved our stay at the parsonage. The whole team there will make you feel at home with all the local tips and wonderful breakfast! If youโ€™re looking for a place to feel like youโ€™re at home, but part of the true San Francisco culture, look no further! In addition to a beautiful place to stay with very comfy rooms, itโ€™s in a great neighborhood with easy access to all the sites via waking or by the Muni. This was by far one of my favorite places Iโ€™ve ever stayed while traveling!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Victorian home. The owners could not have been more welcoming. The room was comfortable so that we could rest well. The bath was modern and luxurious. And the cooked breakfast was delicious. We had a lovely stay, and this will definitely be our home in San Francisco should we return.

It is the perfect place to stay in San Francisco! A historic home with original marble fireplaces, lighting and woodwork of the Victorian era. The hosts are warm, welcoming and fantastic cooks. I cannot imagine a better location to explore what the city of San Francisco has to offer. Am looking forward to coming back.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay in San Francisco! A beautiful, comfortable, historic home in a great location with lovely rooms. The innkeepers, Joan and John could be the Parsonage's best feature. Their hospitality and wonderful breakfasts made our stay delightful.

An amazing place! Not only this is an impressive typical (and huge) SF house with many of the original furnitures and more recent additions but also the hosts are making your stay so easy and comfortable. They are charming, flexible and give you plenty of tips to discover the city. It simply feels like home! Thank you J&J

The Parsonage Fourteen steps up the stair through a red door that is where youโ€™ll find a place full of yesteryears flair of being at home of belonging there. A place to rest for head and heart, a family hospitality celebrated as an art. A long forgotten quality of a more personal and gracious time. Thank you Joan thank you John for the wonderful hours in your wonderful home Elke und Holger Mรผnster, Germany

The Parsonage was an amazing experience. We stayed 8 days, the room was lovely, incredibly comfortable beds and the bathroom was wonderful. The house and art as well as the furniture was an experience in itself. Like a gallery to live in. The breakfast in the breakfast room was the best start on a new day one can wish for. Highly recommended.
