The visitor center has moved and you should visit another center in Macy’s. According to the poster, the new center will open on January 4th, 2019. The new location is at 4th and Howard St.

A great place to get lots of material, brochures and information about all the tourist places in San Francisco and the vicinity. One good investment if travelling within San Francisco is the Muni Passport. Gives unlimited access to Muni services including buses, cable cars, historical cars and metro. Comes in 1/3/7 days, it's really convenient and well worth the money. Staff is particularly helpful in the center to explain everything.

Worst experience in a tourist information ever.Audrey the volunteer was incredibly rude and not welcoming and helpful at all.I was there to find out about public transportion in the CBD at night as I wanted to join a concert.I ,because of my accent, pronaunced the street of my accomondation wrong, so she was yellig at and saying that I should work on my language skills.I stayed calm and friendly as I was thinking that she has to go maybe through a hard time but she stayed rude and bossy the whole conversation.I gave her feedback in the end but she was not able to accept it.She is definitely in the wrong position, she should rather work somewhere with no contact to people searching for help!

Taped information says Visitor's Center is open regular hours. It is NOT open at all currently. You'd think they'd have the brains and attention to service to update their messaging.

Very welcoming and well organised. Especially Bob was super helpful explaining everything we needed in a genuinely kind, passionate and professional manner. The experience was wonderful and it instantly created a good impression about the city and its people! Indeed, we enjoyed our time in San Francisco very much (Thanks again Bob!) and we will definitely visit the city again in the near future.

Unhelpful money suckers. Bought a city pass with 4 tickets and 3 day bus pass. For 96 $. Managed to lose it after using 1 ticket. I still had my receipt. So went back to them to theme in atempt to get a new one. Unhelpful as they where that one expencive trip to the aquarium. Do not buy anything from them. If you loose something, they will not help you. Worst receptant of the city.

Located downtown, NO parking, constant traffic jam. What do these people think? Tourist info should be located with EASY access, plenty of parking, I was in a motorhome, and thought that I could get some info here, instead was caught in a traffic jam, worst location possible! Stay away!

So much help you can get about the city. Apart from staff they have so many brochures you can get from here. Found staff to be very helpful and courteous, except one. May be he had a bad day, good luck to him.

😠 Do not even consider taking this tour, its bad generally but holiday period don't imagine you can get a seat on a bus without first committing a large portion of your life and sanity to standing in a hot queue. Severe delays on the two main lines, red line cancelled over the busiest weekend and no...

👍 Worked very well for us as a family of five (children 7, 10, and 13), and had a plan in place for our four days in SF to hit everything in the CityPass. Swapped out the cruise for Alcatraz tour (have to phone Alcatraz Cruises to pre-buy CityPass from them and to pre-book Alcatraz). We relied on tr...

😠 This company does not operate a Hop on Hop off bus tour in San Francisco. We purchased a 2 day ticket online and got an email with confirmation and QR code to be scanned. Buying tickets on their said we could get on bus at any stop by show confirmation to driver. We went to bus stop and waited 4...
