Absolutely stellar, playful and uniquely situated park in Mission Bay / Dogpatch. Love the historical structures still standing and the playful silhouette paintings of boats that were build here. The beach looks like a stellar paddle board / wading area.

One of the nicest and most unique parks in San Francisco. There are plenty of spots to sit, there's a grassy area if you'd like to have a picnic, and there are porta-potties if you need to use one. There are great views of the bay and a platform so you can see everything. Also, the area is very clean and you could probably swim in the cove if you wanted. Not only is it a park, but also a historical site. There are many signs with information about people building ships and some remnants of the equipment. Overall, I highly recommend this park. You could easily spend a whole afternoon here.

My father worked at these shipyards so the historic element is special to me. It's a fine example of revitalizing a public resource to reflect the times of the neighborhood. Little beach for kids - yes, in the bay water - and to launch a small boat like a kayak. Picnic table all occupied. Dogs running in their grass area. Love to see the tides here too. Look for crabs at low tide. Something for everyone. Go check it out for yourself.

Sunny and clean city park with a nice lawn, dog area and a small beach! I passed by the park during a run along the coast and enjoyed a little stop in this beautiful park. There are some picnic tables in the park which is awesome but otherwise there aren't a lot of facilities in the park so I think it has some potentials to be more interesting. The neighborhood feels modern and urban, has plenty of restaurants and cafes within a short walk.

Cute new park in dogpatch. Has a waterfront where you can launch standup paddle boards and kayaks. Has a small wood boardwalk down to the water that could potentially be wheelchair accessible. Has some cool old ship yard/warehouse relics. There’s also a grassy area but it’s kind of sloped.. tolerable for a game of spikeball but not ideal

I love coming here when I just need to get near the water or clear my head. It’s so fun to read all the history and walk along the rocks. Highly suggest bringing a picnic and enjoying the day here.

It’s a beach in Dogpatch Neighborhood. Bring your kayak, picnic basket or not as there are picnic tables with a grill! Super dog friendly, kids can ride their bikes, scooters, fly a kite, and have fun.

Small beach with bay access great for dogs swimming, and cooling off. Also super green lawns for picnics. With preserved remnants of shipyard equipment. Excited for this touch of Nature in Dogpatch and Potrero!

Good neighborhood in Dogpatch. Nice little park on the water. This park has a small grass area and some beach. Seams like this park is popular with local dog owners. It does have a few benches and right off a good running route, so maybe a good place to stretch. Good view of east bay.

Lovely park for families, dogs, everyone. You can wade in the bay or canoe. The cranes and equipment are fascinating. Lots of care and detail went into this park and it shows. There is a cool restaurant and bar nearby and others within walking distance.

It was such a nice day. They keep the park nice. We had an area all set up for a birthday. Even a worker came and took our garbage and gave us extra bags.

The park is nice and unique but there is a distinct lack of shade. A handful of smaller trees. Great for sun-lovers but redheads beware. If you are concerned about shade being an umbrella or tent.

Great morning workout, come early to beat the sun and crowd.. Some stairs are steep, so watch your step as there are no railings. I recommend just going up the stairs and taking the trail down, I think it's safer, best that way.. you will def have a good workout after 2 round trips.

A perfect neighborhood park. Optimal for an outdoor lunch, or coffee and conversation with a friend, plus views. There's a large side area with tables and lawn that can contain multiple large groups for birthdays, etc. Don't know if this is part of the county system that allows table reservations. There are well maintained porta-potties, but as yet no permanent facilities with sinks, so bring wet naps.

Cute neighborhood park with great views of the bay! Great place to watch the sunset with a cool industrial landscape. It’s quite small but has lots of space for dogs to run around.

Awesome new park for San Francisco. Extremely clean and well maintained with a bunch of spots to hang - including grills, tables, and a beach. Located right in the Dogpatch, I'm excited for the role this park will play with all the development happening around it.

I go here every evening with my dog. It's a great place to go, plenty of space along the beach with calm waters, a lawn which has plenty of space to sit down and have a picnic with the family with a few benches. On the other side there is a even bigger lawn, an actual picnic area with BBQS. I love coming here, my only issue is people not complying with leash laws and blatinley ignoring the "keep your dogs on a leash" sign in 2 parts of this area, so if you do have a reactive dog or aren't wanting dog interactions be aware you will see many off leash dogs.
