DO NOT TAKE GREYHOUND, IF YOU CAN AVOID! You’ve been warned.... I booked a ticket from SF to Sacramento on the 23rd of dec. I checked in through the mobile app. When I showed up the whole station was a complete disaster. They had sold too many tickets and were so short staffed that they cancelled one of the buses. They said the could only board 23 of the 67 passengers, that was before they remembered that they had to accommodate priority and disabled passengers. So in actuality they could only board 17 of the 67 people. They had no back up plan for the people who were left behind. This was right before Christmas and there were so many people that had no other way of reaching their families. The bus was supposed to leave at 1. The next bus wasn’t until 4:15pm and there wasn’t enough room on that bus to accommodate all the people who had lost their spots from the 1pm bus. They also made joke at the passengers that did not buy priority, rubbing it in that if they had purchased priority then they wouldn’t have to worry about missing their bus. There were no bilingual employees and many spanish speaking passengers were ignored, dismissed, and treated like a problem. I had to translate between the employees and clients, I could not believe how rude they were treating the Spanish speaking passengers. I will never do business with Greyhound again. If you can find any other way to get to your destination, please find another way! They are unorganized, unprofessional, and incompetent! Even trying to leave a complaint I had to wait on hold for 40 mins and they were completely dismissive of the issues I brought up.

Greyhound- So many bad reviews on here that gave me anxiety choosing this method to get to Reno from this location but I went through a great experience. The security guard was helpful and she really was great at her job checking in with passengers that their bus has arrived. ( there was a disabled man who had no clue that his bus has arrived. The guard made sure which bus everyone was getting on was the right one.) there's bathroom access and vending machines. For new greyhound riders make sure you buy your ticket online because it's way cheaper. (When buying online make sure you don't pay for the one with extra benefits braise this station doesn't acknowledge it. Just buy the basic one.) The lady riding on the same bus as me spent 35$ when I only paid 13$. The bus was 2 hours late but things happen such as traffic or issues I don't know why people can't understand and just complain on here. You always got to expect delays. I suggest to bring food to munch on while waiting for the bus since it's allowed indoors at the waiting area. The power outlets on the bus were ok it could of been better because I constantly had to adjust the charger at a certain angle for it to work. The advantage is that there cup holders and food is allowed. Wifi didn't work. But all I needed was to get from point A to point B so I would definitely ride greyhound again.

Very well structured, clean and with the information clearly displayed. Boarding a bus at this terminal is very easy. With few destination options, because obviously road transport is not the main mode of transport in the country, Greyhound manages to provide a quality transport option to everyone who needs it in an organized and accessible way.

You didn't get me to my destination, left me in another city where I had to rent a car. Bus had sticky stains. Employees just told me lies. You canceled my first bus and made me wait for like 5 hours for another bus that didn't even made it to its destination. Wifi was super slow, seats uncomfortable. You won't even give me a full refund of my ticket. Never traveling again with Greyhound and not recommending it to anybody.

Beautiful Downtown transit station in the heart of the city. Be sure to go to the very top of the building there's a fantastic rooftop park to enjoy while you wait.

Broken system bad services. I purchased my ticket which was higher price; my ticket didn’t show the priority boarding. So, I went back in line and verify. Customer services are bad. I chose the higher fare because they offer better benefits. In the end, I did not receive any. They didn’t do anything. I am so disappointed and upset. I asked the staff to check, they don’t even care. So, why are there different type of fares and didn’t honor ? It was a long story, can’t write all the details. Didn’t expect to have that kind of experience. I wanted to clarify , had tried to get what I paid for, and talk to them nicely but no success. Anyway, very bad experience so far. Feel like, it is not right!

I arrived an hour early to the bus station but the bus had already been cancelled. They even didn't update the app or their website. Customers are nothing for them. Also the staff are the unfrendliest I've ever seen. We're just waiting for the next bus for 3 hours!

If you don't want to ruin your trip, book with another bus company. Flexibus just had 1 ticket left so my friend and I decided to use Greyhound. First we couldn't book online because the page had problems, then when we called, it was $20 more for telephone booking. First warning sign. Next day, we arrived at the station and the staff was extremely rude. We had to check in our bags and it was an extra $20 per bag, (u can only take 1 bag for free). Our bus was scheduled to leave for LA at 10pm but it was about 30 minutes late. Then we had to get off at Oakland to change bus. But guess what? We were told there was a "delay." one hour later and we still haven't left San Francisco. We're still waiting with no explanation. So let's see how much longer before we leave here. I just wanted to leave this review before I ended up forgetting all the details. Takeaway here is to book in advance with Flexbus for a much more enjoyable experience.

Took the overnight bus from SF to LA. The bus left on time and actually arrived 45 minutes early. Ticketing station is on the 2nd floor, and bus bays are on the 3rd. Bays/gate was announced ~15 min before departure time. I rode in the newer buses; the seats were a bit firm, but it was clean and the outlets worked, didn't try to connect to the wifi. AC was blasting the entire time, so I would recommend dressing up in layers.

My actual bus ride was pretty pleasant from this station and I even arrived in LA early. The staff inside the station, however, were exceedingly unhelpful. I walked up to the counter and was the only one there only for the staff to ignore my presence for several minutes while standing right in front of me. Not talking, not seemingly doing anything, just pretending I wasn’t there. Haven’t really had that happen before in any setting.

They sold me a ticket that was supposed to depart at 14:30 to Eureka ... The bus arrived at 19:00 to San Francisco. Once in the bus they took us to Oakland and make us wait for 3 more hours. The reason: no drivers... So, why do they sell tickets if they don't have drivers? I'm still here at Oakland waiting for some answer. 12 hours waiting with no information. No one even gave us a glass of water. Total lack of respect. Worst service ever, next time I won't go by greyhound for sure.
