This is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! The service is quick and the food is delicious. It’s a very unassuming spot with just a window but I knew it was going to be good when there was a line out front. The pepperoni was slightly smoky and super crunchy which I really liked, but nothing can beat the garlic clam pizza. It was super different and unlike any pizza I’ve had before. The garlic and clam is so good and fresh but not overwhelming. I highly recommend it!

I went based on the positive reviews which made my mouth water. Also I’m not a fan of thick crust pizza but I still wanted to give it a try. A scale from 1 to 10 pizza was a 4. I got the combo, pesto, and garlic and clam. When served it was warm not hot. The overall taste wasn’t cutting it for me. I wouldn’t go back.

Followed the reviews, suggestions, had this place marked on my calendar as “Need to try” and did the right thing! Would highly recommend this place if you are craving for something new to grab-n-go. Place has no indoors dining, however line talks for the quality. Should definitely give clam and garlic a try. You can split a large sheet with combo topped with pesto.

Worth a short wait! Delicious pizza, piping hot!! You can taste how fresh each ingredient is, the clams the garlic, the pesto, the mixed vegetables. I should have opted to have my slices in a box, because the cheese melted to the paper they were wrapped in. Still super tasty and perfect crust crunch. Will definitely be back!

Guess who’s winning 🏅my coworker told me it would meet my standards! I was homesick for Pizza Luce 🤦🏾 so I trekked on over and got the last combo slice, a pepperoni and a clam and garlic 😳 well I wished for another slice of the combo 💯the pepperoni was scrumptious and the garlic overwhelming to my taste…but that crust had me right at home! I love the walk up window and the great customer service even when it’s your first time. Most definitely making a repeat performance 💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👌🏾💋

One of my friends texted me saying today is National Pizza Day! I was already in North Beach and couldn't decide between Golden Boy or Tony's by Washington Square. Then I remembered all the fond memories we had waiting in line back in the 90's after a night out. That delicious crusty foccacia bread on wax paper. The staff here were always cool even though they had to deal with a lot of drunks. Tonight I went for the cheese $3.50 and a pesto veggie $4.50. As usual, the clam & garlic and combo were already sold out. Good times.

This place is popular for all the right reasons, if you come here be prepared to wait in line. Don't worry, it goes by very quick and it is worth it. I highly recommend the pesto pizza but all of them are delicious so you can't go wrong.

Came to this place because it was in Yelp top 100 pizza list as number 14. A little bit disappointed when I know there’s no place to sit and eat. Basically you will have to find a place to eat yourself. Another disappointed thing is that they do not have beers or anything to drink. Fortunately the bar next to it allows you to eat pizza there if you buy drinks from the bar. That saved us. Otherwise I would eat on the street and have no bathroom to use. They basically precooked lots of pizza and heat them after you order them. Based on that, I deduct one star for these inconvenience.

I've seen this place featured in lots of articles and guidesand there was always a line whenever I passed by. Finally got the chance to try it out myself and it did not disappoint. You get your pizza from a window and there are some outdoor seatings in front, there was even some live music from the restaurant across the street . Heard that the clam and garlic is the must-try so I got a slice of that and a slice of the combo. Thin focaccia crust and lots of cheese on both slices. They heat it up before they give it to you so it's hot and crispy. Great value for the price!

Awesome square cut pizza slices on Green Street. I tried the sausage which was fabulous and my wife was raving about the Pepperoni as well. About $4 for a slice. I also loved the lively vibe of the neighbourhood. Highly recommended.

This place is delicious! Everything taste great. I love the square pizza it's always fresh with a great texture. This is not a sit down resteraunt. You grab slices to go and eat them right away or grab a box and take home. This is a hot spot for people watching. I was there yesterday afternoon and an enthusiastic conversation was ensuing, Italian style!!

Always amazing. They are closed for inside still. So if you are thinking sit down with family go to Tony's around the corner. The pizza is distinctively different from Tony's. The two of them have the hands down best pizza in SF. If your an adult order, go next door and order a beer or wine. They will let you sit while you pig out.

At $3.50-4.75 a slice, you really can’t beat this place. Great atmosphere, cool little spot, and good service. It’s take-out only, but you’ll see lines of people eating on the curb because of how good it is. I got the pepperoni and clam & garlic pizza, and my wife donated the topping she didn’t want to my pepperoni. The clam and garlic was fantastic, the crust was crisp and perfectly crunchy, the sauce was subtle, and the clams and garlic had lots of flavor. The pepperoni was really the star though, because of that amazing red sauce & ooey gooey cheese! This place was great, and worth every dime.

Incredible pizza that is definitely worth the long wait. They are continuously dishing out fresh pizza, so nothing is sitting out for a long period of time. It was a slice of crispy but fluffy and extremely cheesy heaven. The popularity of the place makes lining up fun, great atmosphere!

Absolutely delicious Sicilian style pizza! This is hole in wall pizza place. Just a window and there’s no sitting area. Be prepared to wait in the line. It’s totally worth the wait! The price is decent and the pizza is absolutely tasty!

What a fire pizza joint! Came here on a late night Saturday to grab a few slices recently. They have four or five options to choose from for slices. I got the veggie pesto slice, one of the best Sicilian/Detroit style slices I’ve ever had! It wasn’t greasy at all. The cheese and toppings were super fresh. Well worth the wait, wish I had gotten three more!

Really really tasty pizza slices, the Sicilian style base is quite thick but still light, with a great crisp when warmed. The balance of the toppings are just perfect, intense and flavorful. On my 1st visit I went just around opening time and there was no line. On my 2nd i arrived around 11pm and had to stand in line for about 20min, still not an issue though. My pick is the combo slice, sausage and pepperoni, which a dash of crushed red pepper which you can request for.

One of my favorite slices and a must every time we visit Frisco! Love Golden Boy. Delicious pizza with a really crispy crust. The Pesto Veggie is my favorite. Tried the Clam & Garlic. Not that hated it but I’d recommend something else

This is the staple of north beach and San Francisco, I hope this never goes away. I lived in SF for 8 years and every time I visit I always make time to get a slice. One of the most unique sauce / crust combos I’ve ever had. I miss the old set up when you could skip the queue by going inside and getting a beer and ordering direct. A must taste for anyone!

This place was so good, we dug in before I could even take a picture. I knew I chose the right place to eat when I showed up and there was a decent sized line to wait it, but it was worth the wait. This pizza has crust that is thick and fluffy, unlike crust I’ve ever had before. A small pizza is equivalent to 4 slices. We shared a small pizza between two people and it was enough, but so yummy we could have easily gone for more.

Great Detroit style pizza at great prices (for SF). Service is quick. Get a few slices and eat in the park! Clam and garlic was our favorite, but you can't go wrong with a slice of pepperoni!
