Hands down one of the best areas to watch a sunset in San Francisco! I was completely surprised by this location when I shot the sunset here but it was welcomed. The way the lights and shadows cut and cast on the mountains, rocks, and beach here is phenomenal. Being able to see the Golden Gate Bridge from here is an added bonus! I recommend going down to the beach near the Land's End Lookout for the best views of the area. This is a deeply serene and peaceful area so come early and spend a few hours before the sunset to get a good lay of the land and find your best spot for the sun goes down over the horizon!

Very nice place and lots of fun there. Specifically for those who love hiking, and please carry bottle water 💦 and some snacks .. Although I went it multiple times, this is my first time exploring with wife.

Good place to hike! In some places there is sand, so I recommend choosing the right shoes for this.

Stunning part of GGNRA. Ruined historic houses and baths, military batteries, beaches, a labyrinth, great visitor center, views views and views

For the longest time I thought NRA stood for an organization that I don't respect one bit but when I realized it stood for National Recreation Area I was tremendously relieved! The GGNRA is absolutely gorgeous. I visited this place solo and walked around and absorbed the sights and sounds. While malls and shopping doesn't have any attraction for me, it's the nature that draws me to San Francisco all the time.

Great trail along the San Francisco coastline. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, you can use this as the starting point for the Crosstown Trail.

What a wonderful journey on the trails. So many great views. Even saw people swimming on the open ocean!
