It's a cute little park with a cool looking jungle gym. When I went there was a cool situation going on where people could randomly walk up and pick an instrument and just start messing around with the sound. There was no set rules about how to play it was literally just us banging on the instruments how ever we felt like doing it. There's a basketball court there as well that I'd like to get some use out of too.

Since the park was remodeled it's much more enjoyable and I didn't notice any drug activity like it used to be

I consider this my tranquil little corner of earth. It has a kids club house, basketball court, swings, play ground, picnic tables, and walking/jogging track. It has after school programs and activities for all age group chrildren. This helps keep them busy, out of trouble and safe till they get back home from school. I use to go by and enjoy the park every morning before clocking in for work. I highly recommend this and all city parks as a great place to bring family to enjoy the fresh air and the time together.

As a community ambassador it's a great place to take a break from dealing with the homeless, offering services and referrals to shelter and mental/medical assistance.

Mixed feelings about this place, there is a nice basketball court and it's a large park for the area, but it's surrounded by the unavoidable and looming environment of the Tenderloin. It's kind of unsanitary and unpleasant but in truth there is a code of ethics that the people on the street enforce amongst themselves and children are always going to be protected and respected.
