By far the best breakfast restaurant I have ever been to! Top notch service and food!! Got there around 9:30 on a Saturday and waited about 45 to get seated. Worth every minute of the wait! The fresh fruits were very juicy and sweet and the breakfast items just had such deep flavor profiles. Never had anything like it before! They even offered water for my dog which was just the cherry on top. The staff was super friendly and attentive, overall very welcoming and lovely atmosphere!

Did a breakfast date with my husband mid week , had such a good time, they have indoor and outdoor seating. Good staff and awesome breakfast choices with good beverages choices too . I took the Florentine scramble along with the sourdough bread 🥖, they gave me a side of their house special jam . My husband took the shrimp Benedict. I also took the side of the Italian sausage, it was really tasty and I loved the fennel flavor in it . We also ordered a caffe latte and cappuccino. It’s creamy and frothy . .

This place is phenomenal. One of the best breakfasts I've had period. In any city. Ordered the Washington square and it was the perfect scramble. The sausage was delicious and there was no skimping on the sausage and peppers. The potatoes are perfectly cooked. Tender with every bite and seasoned well. That home made jam/jelly is just ridiculously good. I don't usually add any to my bread while having breakfast, but I couldn't stop spreading it on. We also ordered the chorizo Benedict and it was awesome. Every bite was full of flavor.

This place was everything I was told about it and much more. I hear there's lines here but during the weekday it wasn't a long wait at all. Maybe 20 minutes in line to order. I ordered the Bay Shrimp Benedict and it was amazing. The spiked lemonade was good but strong. My wife had a fried egg sandwich and some blueberry sour cream muffin. Everything was so good. I would definitely come back here.

Queue started at 8am on a Sunday morning. Order at the counter outside the building, then find a seat in the restaurant. Indoor seating has about 10 tables only but there are just as many tables outside. Food is great just like the others have reviewed. Service is also quick and efficient. Worth a visit if you’re in this part of the city.

The restaurant has a very authentic vibe. The food is always amazing, the music and the ambiance has kept its originality and the waiters service is always excellent. We tried the Shrimp Omelette from the daily menu and the Chocolate Cinnamon French Toast this time. The food was 5/5. Highly recommended!

Mama's deserves a higher rating over 4.5. The southern border might be a mess these days but I had a south of the border omelette and it was really good. I really like the Spanish chorizo in it. There was one smiling nice and warm server that made the service high level. If you're in the north beach area in SF and craving some good brunch, visit Mama's and you'll love it.

Best breakfast in town, and get there early to line up. We were there on a Tuesday morning and had to wait almost 40 mins to order. Next time, I am hoping I can sit inside. It would be better to sit and order Your food than at the window. I hope the owners will make that change in the future. The waiters were courteous and helpful.

Incredible brunch spot but also incredible wait times - we came here after running the SF 10K on Sunday and had to wait around an hour to be seated ultimately. Still it was worth the wait in my view. I got the veggie omelette with potatoes and the bread with homemade jam. Absolutely delicious, well cooked, and a nice ambience inside. Their coffee was also splendid. It felt a bit cramped inside and they don't have a ton of seating inside/outside which explained the long wait time (but that's SF for you), the only reason why I'm docking a star off but the food itself is 5/5. I'd recommend this spot just keeping in mind their wait times on the weekends especially.

Food is awesome, staff is also really friendly and thoughtful. We had our two baby stroller inside together with our pup (seated at the end of the restaurant so our dog wouldn’t disturb other customers as well) they gave us the best service and our dog got so many good doggy treats too. Our go-to brunch place when we’re in town.

The space was a little cramped, but it made the whole experience feel like you were eating on the kitchen at your childhood home and I think that vibe made up for it. The eggs were somehow fluffy and creamy all at once, and the fresh orange juice was addicting. Everything tasted amazing. Highly recommend going first thing on a Saturday before the line gets too long. That being said, there wasn't much of a wait when we arrived (9am on a Saturday).

Deserving of its award of best breakfast. Such good, rich food. The bread for the french toast is what made the dish a true 11/10. Delicious pancakes and the best fresh fruit. Also nice coffee drinks. We had a little bit of a wait to get in, but the staff were quick to get tables bussed for the next group. Food was a bit of a wait, but for how small the kitchen is and packed it was, totally understandable.

First time here 7 in our party. Everyone enjoyed the food. We celebrated 2 peoples birthday.everyone was super pleasant.pancakes great.pan dore yummy. French toast combo must have.

Came here based on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The Monte Cristo sandwich was amazing. Perfectly cooked, light golden brown and just the right temperature inside (not cold). Service was quick and staff was very friendly. They even treated us to an anniversary carrot cake which was fantastic. It's a small place but we managed to find a seat right away. Overall a terrific place to have a meal.

Had a great brunch here with my boyfriend. I had the dungeness crab Benedict which is quite pricey being a local crab, but delicious nonetheless. My boyfriend had the breakfast sandwich, which was also a great meal. Depending on when you go you'll be seated in less than 20min, however, during rush brunch hour it can take some time to get a table.

First time eating here and the food definitely did not disappoint! I had the Lox and Bagel with smoked salmon which was so refreshing and so delicious and my husband had the Norwegian smoked salmon eggs Benedict and both were amazing! Highly recommend this spot for breakfast/lunch. Make sure you go super early because there will be a line for breakfast! Lunch time usually does down and isn't as busy and they still serve breakfast items which is great!
