This is an amazing place to stay. My husband and I rented the villa September and October 2017 and we also rented the annex for the first 2 weeks of September. There are many positives comments I can make about the villa and the owners. The pictures are a good representation of the villa. It is homey, warm and comfortable. There were 10 of us who stayed there. The owners had planted a garden for us to use. Again, incredible!! Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, squash, leeks, basil, cabbage, eggplant, etc. All for our use. The owner brought us several wonderful cakes during our stay. The small village of Caviglia has a very good supermarket (do not touch the veggies) and several good restaurants. You will need a car. There are 2 train stations within a 20 minute drive.I would not hesitate to encourage you to stay here. There are 2 opportunities for improvement. First, the bedroom lamps are small and the bulbs are dim so reading in bed is difficult. Larger lamps and brighter bulbs would be a nice touch. Second, because the owners do not speak English, there should be an instruction manual in English for the stove,, oven, washing machine, thermostat. We had a fantastic experience exploring Tuscany from this location.
