After a few hours searching online for a hotel , we came across airone city hotel , overall the hotel is clean and staff are helpful until we came back after heading out for a meal in the city centre we found the car park to be full even tho there is still 2/3 spaces empty when we called by phone to ask specifically if parking is included we were informed that there is private parking included and we made sure of this asking several times as we did not wish to leave our personal cars parked up on the street , I do not recommend if you are booking this hotel because it has parking included , the only time I was informed that parking is subject to availability is when we came back and found it full , even after explaining my situation to the reception and what seemed to be a security guard / night Parker the guy behind reception found it funny and decided to smirk and laugh while speaking with his colleagues as I was walking out the only way we resolved this was not by anyone from the hotels behalf but other guests who over heard us talking in our language (Maltese) , offered to let us park and block them in and agreed to move in the morning , the hotel never offered any type of solution other than to park in the street and the overall attitude is a disgrace !! We where not the only people with this problem regarding parking but also several other people who seemed to be turning up every few people , to everyone world wide and especially Maltese who frequent here look elsewhere for accommodation

I was looking for a hotel where I can stay relatively close to the town centre and easy access to various places in the Eastern part of Sicily. Airone city Hotel was in the perfect location for me as I was always driving. Room was nice and clean (top marks!) and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. No proper dinner is served, but a light dinner is possible, and it was of good quality.

Stayed for a long weekend to celebrate a hen do. The staff were friendly, attentive and could not have done enough for us to ensure our stay was extra special. The rooms are spacious and clean and the hotel is located a short walk from the city centre. Thank you for making our stay in Catania so special- we cannot recommend enough!

Great hotel! Clean and tidy, new towels every day, minibar drinks included in price and refilled daily. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Real coffee for breakfast 😊

Really wonderful hotel with spacious and modern rooms. There is also gated and secure parking. Our room was a pleasant surprise and I wish we could have stayed longer.

Check in was annoying, the girls that checked me in was super rude and unprofessional, she rambled the usual info session, and though I was grateful she spoke English, she ran through her speech and due to her strong accent I did not catch anything she said. As I walked away the three of them laughed loudly which lead me to believe the joke was on me. My room was clean however the sheets were stained, when I requested a change I was provided a blanket. Stayed three nights and my sheets were never changed. Though breakfast was included I never got to experience it, I was in town on business I normally left at 630 and breakfast apparently did not start till 7am. I was supposed to have wine provided each stay, however they only tried to provide this on check out. I’m not sure of the rules but I’m pretty sure I couldn’t fly with that. The only reasonable thing experienced was checking out, the poor guy had to hear all about my disappointments. Parking was convenient underground the property and it was located in close proximity to everything.

This is by far one of the best hotels we have stayed in. As soon as we stepped into our room(which is more like an apartment -it was huge!), we instantly regretted that we only had one night there! The hotel is spotless, parking is very safe, breakfast is delicious and the staff is just amazing. This will definately be our go to hotel from today onwards. Thank you!

Great hotel, staff is really nice and took care quickly for any request we had, even one morning we went out for a day trip real early and missed breakfast so they packed us breakfast to go. The rooms are clean and big and there is an underground parking lot for free.

We stayed in Airone City Hotel during mid July; the hotel is located in the outskirts of Catania, which makes is very quiet. If you want to visit the city you can do it via taxi, or drive or walk (which I don't recommend, is too hot and too far away). We were there to celebrate my friends 50th birthday, and we chose it because it has a pool, but also because its close to the highways in case you want to drive to other cities around Sicily. Monica & Valera, as well as the full staff are amazing, the were always helpful and make you feel at home. They can be very accomodating and helped us resolve a couple of logistic situations. You can stay in the pool during the day and then catch a cab (~20 EUR) to the city center to explore and dine! Highly recommended!!

Very good. Staff is very nice and helpful, helped us a lot with recommendations and such. Rooms are beautiful, breakfast is basic but good. Only downside is its far from centre so its highly recommended to have a car

Nice Hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff. Enjoyed the pool in the afternoon after a day of exploring Catania. Good Restaurants within 20-30 minutes walking distance.

While it's just a bit out of the city, the rooms and the service makes up for it. The garage is a welcome where you can park your car behind a protected gate. The beds are excellent and the rooms are modern and clean.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my pregnant wife, although a clean and modern hotel, the A/C in the rooms are restricted so that the temperature cannot be lower than 23 degrees centigrade which meant that my wife couldn't really get much sleep as her feet were swollen due to heat. We also had issues with hot water in the rooms, and from our experience when we complaint, the staff we very rude, speaking amongst each other in Italian rather then addressing the issues we were having. The only reason it got 2 stars is because the breakfast was good and they catered for vegans.

Very nice hotel with great staff who couldn't be more helpful. Food was very good and the pool area was great for relaxing. The only negative was that the hotel was situated a bit far out from the city centre and bits of the walk in took you through run down neighbourhoods, which limited you at night to where you could venture. Staff in hotel were more than accomodating though with a bar service with snacks and recommendations of places to go.

An urban boutique hotel, fine in every possible way. Spacious rooms, perfectly clean, modern and beautiful design, great food at breakfast and above all - pleasant, welcoming and professional staff. Staying in the hotel was a great experience not only when compared to hotels in Sicily, but to hotels around the world. Highly recommended for couples on a romantic trip.

Great place, very well looked after, staff couldn’t of been nicer. However, either have a car or be prepared to pay the high taxi prices of Catania. Suited me though as wanted a quiet place to relax.

I stayed here with my husband and children for 3 days. Our stay was excellent! We had a HUGE apartment-like room, it was more room than we needed. Two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a huge common room. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of foods to choose from (too many desserts that we had to try!). Hotel staff was kind, parking was inside the building and could fit our huge SUV. Toiletries were refilled every day, WiFi worked great. I would stay here if I am every in Catania again! Note: I initially wrote a review here was wasn’t good- I confused this hotel with a different one we stayed at on our trip. My sincere apologies to the hotel and staff!!

We were a group of 21 people that booked the hotel for six nights. We found an excellent hotel and our stay was superb. The staff was very friendly, helpful and understandable. The pool was smaller than anticipated, but didn’t bother the children to spend the all evening/night spending time in it. I Must say that I was surprised (in the good way) That the pool entrance could be used 24 hours a day which allow the children to continue having fun after the day trip. The rooms are extremely clean, comfortable and spacious with a good insulation to noise. A large bathroom. The Hotel location has a nearby and easy access to the highway. In conclusion, if you plan to stay in Catania We strongly recommend on this hotel.

Fine. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good. The pool is much much smaller than we expected. The pool is too deep for children. The room was fine in comfort, but faced city apartments across the narrow street -- too close for comfort. Relatively empty when we stayed. Surprised that we were not offered a choice of rooms. Given the relatively high price of the hotel, and the unattractive location in the city, and relative inconvenience, we surprised ourselves that we had booked it. Advice to others: check Google maps street view to understand the location, be sure you want to stay there, choose a room overlooking the pool or courtyard. If smoke bothers you, note that smokers smoke by the pool.

Easily one of the best hotels, great rooms and swimming pool, staff gave us free upgrade. Parking is free. Breakfast is a bit restricted but it's corona related.
