The quarry remained closed until 2009 when, thanks to the private urbanization costs of the area, the new park was created. Today, the lake is a cycle/pedestrian path that is home to numerous aquatic animals (chubs, carp, pike and turtles), birds (mallards, moorhens, herons), lagomorphs (rabbits and hares) and rodents (mice and otters). ..this small body of water is fed by the groundwater.
