ATTENTION: Do not compare this with any other review of lodging I've made...the Heritage Inn is in a class of it's own. I gave the 3 stars because I have accepted certain aspects of this property...if you can accept the Heritage Inn for what it offers and not hold it to standards of a typical motel or hotel, you will understand the rating. Do not come here expecting to find a room without flaws, do not come here expecting to find great amenities...hell, the t.v. may not even work in your room. What you will find is an extremely cheap nightly rate...between $50 - 70. There will not be any deposit required of you. You will be given clean towels, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. There will be a microwave, sometimes a fridge, sometimes a safe. The locks work, I believe the air conditioning works but honestly I have never tried. It is located right off the freeway. I have never experienced any theft or crime in the parking lot but I wouldn't tempt anyone by leaving valuables in plain view. You may, at times, see people hanging about the hallways, you may, at times, hear other guests going about their business, but the Milpitas police are quick to respond to any significant disturbance. The bedding is clean, but you might find burn marks on the bedspread and other places in the room. There are smoking rooms available, which is rare these days. When I say the room is clean, I mean to a certain degree. I have never seen any bugs or other pests...I feel comfortable in saying that much. The place has seen some use...know this. The Heritage Inn is ideal for certain purposes...it is an hassle-free environment as far as the staff goes. I have never had any problems with anyone there, actually. It is very economical and what you see is what you get. Take it for what it offers and nothing more, and you should find your experience to be positive. Thank goodness for these sorts of establishments...they serve a purpose and provide a decent service. Not a family environment, however. Adults only.

My room the heater did not work, there were roaches, and their telephone that was available did not work either. I will never go there again... wouldn't be surprised if they had bed bugs as well absolutely disgusting mold in the showers bathroom was dirty mattresses were old and filthy. Never will I ever go there again worst hotel ever!!!

I should have checked the reviews before checking into this piece of s***! I have never been afraid of catching something from a public place before. This place was dirty, smelling and had almost no working eletrical. I've seen homelss camps cleaner then this! We spent about two hours in there trying to make it work. I had already decided I wasnt going to pull the bed spread back and climb under the sheets but then I saw how dirty and smelly it was. I was through. I am trying to get a partial refund. Stay tuned!

Wow! Booked this place with Hotels.com. I made sure this motel was ok before I book it. It turned out that the AC was not working, the entire room smell bad, furniture is damages, palace is dusty, and more. I'll upload pics. The receptions was very rude from the star tot the end. For the record the freaking door couldn't open so I called the receptionist. Also tried to smart@@$ with me. Sometimes people can handle a job.

The only positive thing I could say about this is the cheapest priced hotel. They do have premium movie channels on their television. Beds are hard and lumpy it's hard to get comfy. The shower was built for dwarfs. They are not pet friendly. The pool is very nasty.

This hotel needs to be shut down. It was so disgusting I sleep in my car. There were stains and dried food on the sheets and blankets, roaches, nothing worked including the toilet. I not very picky but no one should ever pay to sleep somewhere like this,

Hotel room was horrible door lock broken on door, two lamps in room broken dont turn on. Only 1 tv station works. Roaches in bathroom. Ghetto area run down. I dont see how Hotwire could even have this hotel listed to pick from. Ac unit was rotten panel missing. It worked but it didnt look right. Dont stay here.

Very peaceful and comforting service comes with a smile. What more can be asked for a cheap price I wouldn't trade it for no other hotel.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. They charge way too much our room was filthy, sheets were dirty the shower full of mold, floors gross, worst part toilet wouldn’t work. When I talked to manager he seemed to not care. Worse experience with a hotel, Don’t stay!

I love the people that work here, very kind, friendly, and good conversationalist. The rooms are.... well.. bad, but they are updating the rooms. They do have a ice machine +++

Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had! They overcharge for the nastiest mold infested, bug infested rooms it’s astonishing. The shower curtain looked like it had been there since the motel opened. It’s a crack motel basically. I disgusting infested motel that crackheads go to. My three year old got sick after one night of sleeping here and she also got pink eye from the nasty unwashed pillows. If you have children DO NOT COME HERE!

Room was clean and carpets been replaced with flooring. For the price and location this is perfect. Local stores and food places walking distances. Premium channels for cable. Has microwave and table. Has the necessities you need for the price. People who run this place seem very nice.

Disgusting! Passing through and needed a place to stay for the night, checked in and the police were there. Should have been the first red flag. There were cockroaches in the room, writing on the walls, brown stuff smeared everywhere. Only half the lights worked, there was mold in the AC, microwave and bathroom. Ended up sleeping in my car since refund wasn’t given.

The price is good the rooms are dirty you get whay you pay for. I wouldn't recommend this place unless your low on cash and it's only for one night. The only thing the rooms are big and the location right off freeway and next to walgreens and eatery places. The owner seems kind of shady. I felt like I was being watched when I was in the room.

I have been coming to the place for a while but my advice for everyone keep your wallets and purses close to you . Last night my mother n laws wallet got stolen and the person who gathered the sheets is denying it. He shouldn't be even touching people's sheets he never returned my mother n laws wallet . This is unbelievable that he doesn't admit he took it.

Management is so welcoming and vigilant when it comes to helping customers and their families. I will introduce friends and family to Management and staff.

Terrific. Units have basics like fridge and either a shower or a tub; depends on room they're each different. Receptionist is nice.

DON’T EVEN WASTE A MINUTE HERE. This place needs to be shut down & is currently being reported to the health inspector. Filthy, smelly room. Room #110 has not been cleaned in forever. Walked inside the room, a hot Cheeto is on the floor. Carpets are stained. Bedding is stained. Sitting chairs are smelly & stained. Power outlet do not work, therefore no lights in main room. TV barely standing on a broken stand. No batteries for the remote & no cable cord. Curtains are ripped. Windows & screen have dirt build up for years. Bathroom has old towels, no water pressure in the shower (tested only), mold all around. This place is smelly & disgusting. No exaggeration here!

Terrible service. I asked about the TV not working all they had to say is some don't. They changed me to a room where the TV turned on but they do not have direct TV. The rooms are filthy. The first room didn't even have a dead bolt. The wifi "works" out of five this place deserves a Zero. If I could have gotten my money back I would have just gone somewhere else. I recommend you don't send your worst enemy here.
