Finally, Sals has opened again. Went today and ordered a pie, the new look and new staff were great. Met the new owner and his friend helping, and they were the nicest people. Gave us free bread sticks with marinara while we waited for our pie. The pizza was great, and I can't wait to go back. Finally, there is good pizza again back in the Rohnert Park, Cotati area. Give them a try you wont be disappointed. Update: I ordered a meatball sandwich and chicken parmigan sandwich today and was very disappointed. The meatball sandwich was awful, and the meatballs tasted disgusting. Definitely not the same meatballs as the old Sals. I almost drove back to have them try it and it to see if they thought it tasted good. The chicken parm was not good as well. Chicken had the texture of being frozen and microwaved. I understand this is not their specialty, but for 14$ each and being on the menu, I certainly expected better. If you go to sals, stay away from these items and stick to the pizza. Updated number 2: I have gone back to Sals multiple times since they first reopened, and the pizza just isn't as good as it used to be. The dough is a little thicker, and there is more cheese on the pizza, which makes for a heavy pizza. I also believe that the pizza could be cooked a little longer to give it some more crisp. Just a couple of days ago, we ordered a half cheese, half sausage. The pizza was just so so. Since sals had been closed, I started going to Papa Murphy and getting their thin crust NY style pizza and may just stick with that.

The restaurant is small, but the service is great, as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by waitress. We had the cheese pesto twist, so delicious. I would come back here just for these. Ordered a half Opa's, half meat pizza, both were great. Normally I find meat pizza either salty or greasy or both, well this was neither. The meat pizza was my favorite by far. Soo good.

A fantastic, wonderful gem of a neighborhood restaurant just south of Rohnert Park. Very casual and easy atmosphere, friendly staff with great service, and really, really good pizza! Crust was not too thin and not too thick, just right. Toppings are fresh and tasty, too. Try the ranch - it has a little kick with the pepper mixed in, but it's a great take on a staple for dipping the crust of the pizza & chicken wings! Go and try this pizzeria, you will not go wrong!!

Top 10 pizza places ever. The crust was light and crispy, the sauce was fantastic, and the delicious toppings were expertly spread around the pizza. And of course baked perfectly. Don't forget to get the pesto cheese twists they are amazing. The staff is super nice. Like way nicer than even a fancy restaurant. Get off 101 and go here now.

As an east coast gal I have missed true Neapolitan style pizza...until now! This pizza is legit and delicious. The sauce is pure tomato and olive oil, the crust is thin, the toppings are inventive and flavorful. So good.

I worked at sals under the last owner. It was good pizza then but I have to say it’s even better now! Friendly staff too!

Great people! But the pizza was good...I prefer the old Sals sauce it was zesty..but This is my opinion! For me I like it that way ! Others might like a sweet sauce..then you will love it!

I'm excited Sal's is open again! The food is great. I recommend the Chicken Parmagiana Sandwhich or the Combo pizza. Great for lunch or dinner.

My wife and I just ate a Cheese pizza here and it is hands down the best pizza in Rohnert Park and Cotati. Highly recommended. Great tangy sauce, cheese and crust. #supportlocal

Just got Sals tonight. First time since the reopen. So glad you're back and the love is flowing again. We missed you guys. We got the large combo and and large half pep and cheese and the cheesy pesto sticks...booyaa! This pizza rocks. I got to meet the owners and say hi and the staff was so kind. I am in LOVE! This is by far the best pizza I have had in California so far and I have been hunting desperately to try and find my go to pizza place that reminds me of home. And oh my God is Sal's it. The pizza tasted phenomenal. For anyone from the east coast like me, this is the pizza place to go for a pie or a slice. The prices are a tad bit higher than I'm used to from back home but even still it's worth it! The interior gave me that locally owned pizza joint vibe that I love. Cannot recommend this place enough. Just, trust me and try it for yourself.

Their pies are delicious. Whatever they are doing to their dough, it's working. As an adult I can split a mini pie into two meals for a very good price. I haven't tried their calzone yet, but I've heard really good reviews about it too.

Deliciously fresh pizza with great ingredients. Huge too. A large pizza lasts 2 of us all weekend! Don't miss the pesto garlic twists. Very nice staff, never had a bad experience.

Best pizza around! Quality ingredients, delicious. They have ranch dressing that will blow your mind...Order a jar because you will want more. Great customer service. Totally recommend ordering from them.

Got some amazing pizza. I had got the wrong pizza 1/2 when I got home and called them. They helped out so much and gave me the right one the next day. It was very busy and mistakes happen but it won't make me not go here because the pizza is amazing. Highly recommend the pesto break sticks.

Super delicious pizza. I generally like pizza on the more crispy vs. doughy side, and theirs was absolute perfection. If you like it doughy you should mention that. The pesto sauce was incredible. They have a "buy nine and get the 10th free" type promotion card, and I'm virtually guaranteed to get to 10 here. My only complaint is the UFC fight ended while I still had pizza left to eat on my plate. I would absolutely recommend this place to others.
