Really nice airport! High tech, okay food and good security. I go plane spotting here pretty often. Some of my images are attached below.

Norman would be proud of this airport and all who transfer in and out. It is normally a very easy and quick airport to get in and out of. Long, shiny floors might make you want to play a life sized game of shuffleboard or dance across the buffed floors. Some nice restaurants offer a pared down menu with the usual higher airport prices. Security screening is generally quick and efficient. This big airport feels small and friendly and less stressful to navigate.

I try not to be here unless absolutely necessary, but it is a lot nicer than San Diego's airport at least. It looks fairly modern, and all of the gates being along one long hallway means that if you want a good, less busy bathroom, just go down the hallway away from security. Security lines aren't that long, either. They just have massive bright billboards inside of Silicon Valley big tech company ads playing everywhere, which adds some entertainment while in line for security.

We flew in from Dallas/Ft Worth for a quick stay in Carmel. The airport was clean, logistically sound, security was quick and efficient, plenty of good eating establishments to choose from, and plenty of seats as you wait by your gates. Each of the two terminals had the car rental stations available directly across the street and within walking distance easily from the baggage claim. No busses or transfers, so no clusters of crowds offloading to only wait at the rental counters. Easy exit from there to major highways and destinations. Nice job San Jose.

Very quiet airport not as big as other airports but gets the job done. Very fast pace, and baggage claim is easy with only 3 claim areas. Security is fast have to remove mask when showing id and mask is required in the whole building

SJC is a great and efficient airport. TSA is smooth. The rental car center is right across the street! An extremely easy experiences as far as airports are concerned.

Nice and clean, easy to navigate around. Really like there is charging ports on the seats before getting on the plane.

Norman Y. Mineta San Jose international airport is commonly known simply as San Jose International Airport, is a city-owned public airport in San Jose, California, United States. It’s nice and clean airport, in and out easily .

My first visit to the San Jose airport was exciting! It's a big place, but people are willing to help. The underground shuttle moves you quickly from one area to the other, but you need to be aware of its existence. I enjoyed looking at the artwork when I had a few minutes.

Bad experience asking about the office of Lufthansa- people didn’t know about the company but also didn’t even care about helping. The parking even for one minute is $2 so expensive and the airport is taking advantage of people. Last time was free for 20e in or less. I think 🧐 manages in this airport should think about people.

I really like this airport, it's not that far from my house and saves me on many occasions going to SFO which adds on cost and time to my trip. I also like that it's fairly small and well set out compared with other domestic airports. Personally, I really like it has a non stop service to the UK by British Airways. The parking is also pretty good. I have used the economy 1 parking lot for $18/day a few times. They have updated that lot with a large multistory parking structure in recent years. Also, now has automatic plate readers on the gates if you've prepaid that open/close without presenting your QR code. I have always found the airport clean especially the restrooms.

Always extremely quick in getting through security (I’ve never had an experience from the front door to my gate that lasts longer than 25 minutes), and always very clean. Happy to call this my home airport!

My favorite of the bay area airports by far. Security is pretty easy to go through even without TSA Pre-Check, it took us about 25 minutes to get through security fully. They keep things running smoothly and the airport is always clean. This airport doesn't have as many places to eat as SFO, but it's so much easier to get through that I can take a few minutes before arriving to grab some food.

Airport was clean, staff was friendly and the facility is easy to navigate. The reason for 1 star is the utter lack of security. Had a woman attempt to accost my family when we arrived. We were eating a meal on the benches outside before heading in and this woman was screaming at people on her phone and throwing racial epitaphs at people as they entered. We decided to leave early when she approached and tried to start a problem, she pretended to call 911 and report me when I told her to back off and leave us alone. They seriously need tighter security keeping people like this away from the airport.

This by far, the most convenient airport I've flown in and out of in the last few years. The layout is easy and very traveler friendly.

I love flying in and out of this airport. It’s nice and big clean. Plenty of parking right next to the term know if you’re here for a quick pick up. They have shopping concessions right by the baggage claim clean restrooms, easy in an hour to the gates

1/2023 Flew Hawaiian Air, and, of course, they rocked. Nice, kinda smaller, simple airport. Easy to navigate and has all the necessities. Food options are few but good. Not much else to say other than it's a good option from SFO. ✌️

Had to stop here for 2 hours for a layover.. Wore myself out pacing back and forth trying to find something to eat for a reasonable price or just a vending machine but there was nothing. Water fountains are outdated, looked gross and the water comes out warm. The entire building was uncomfortably hot due to the sun blasting through the windows that span the entire length of the building. There was very little space to line up to board our flight. On a positive note there are plenty of gender neutral private bathrooms, however some reeked of stale piss so badly that you could smell it at least 15 feet away from the closed door as you walked by.

This airport located in San Jose California is a pretty alright airport its not the best I've ever been to but it's not the worst. It's home to me becauae I grew up in the bay area but it may seem weird to others no need to worry it's completely safe. The grimy feeling is just how it is . Just be nice and you'll be fine

Small. Cramped. Poor layout. Took over an hour in line for the rental car... Pretty much washed out the time I was supposed to save flying into SJC vs SFO... You live and learn, I guess

I’ve flown out of this airport for over 30 years and watched it grow over time. The pick up and drop off is well signed and not overwhelming to navigate. Plan ahead for traffic, security and coordination of the pick up zones. Nice smaller airport

🌟 Excellent Airport Experience Alert! 🌟 Hey everyone! ✈️ I just had to share my recent experience at this amazing airport that I stumbled upon. Let me tell you, it's an absolute gem! 😍 First things first, this airport is smaller in size, which means no more endless walking and getting lost in a maze of terminals. It's just the right size, making navigation a breeze! 🚶‍♀️ But what truly sets this airport apart is its smooth security check-in process. No long queues, no frantic rush, just a seamless and efficient procedure that gets you through in no time. Talk about stress-free travel! 🙌 One of the things I absolutely loved about this airport is that it's not overly crowded. It's like a hidden oasis of tranquility amidst the chaos of air travel. The calm atmosphere creates a soothing ambiance, allowing you to relax and unwind before your flight. 🌴 And let's not forget about the staff! The airport personnel are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm and welcoming attitude adds an extra touch of comfort to the overall experience. 😊 Now, let me share a little bit of history about this fantastic airport. San Jose Airport, also known as Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport, has a rich history dating back to its opening in 1945. Originally named San Jose Municipal Airport, it served as a military airfield during World War II. 🛩️ Over the years, the airport underwent several expansions and renovations to accommodate the growing number of passengers. Today, it stands as a modern and efficient airport, offering a wide range of domestic and international flights. ✈️ Whether you're a frequent flyer or just someone who appreciates a hassle-free journey, I highly recommend checking out this airport. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! 🌟 So, if you're looking for a stress-free, smooth, and calm airport experience, this is the place to be. Give it a try and let me know what you think! Safe travels, everyone! ✈️💙

I have had the pleasure of using the San Jose Mineta International Airport on numerous occasions, and I am consistently impressed by their commitment to maintaining clean facilities. Every time I enter the airport, I'm greeted by a spotless environment that reflects their dedication to providing travelers with a comfortable and pleasant experience. The staff's attention to detail is evident in the well-kept floors, sparkling restrooms, and overall cleanliness throughout the facility. As someone who frequents the airport, I can confidently say that their efforts in this area do not go unnoticed.

Clean airport. Surprisingly, this airport is not that crowded. Traffic wasn’t also too bad. A lot of shops are closed. Terminal could have more screens for flight updates. There was inaccuracy in flight gate displayed on screen vs actual. Car rental location is on a separate building across the terminal. The entry of car rental return is kind of a winding drive along the roads in the terminal.

This airport is pretty easy to navigate compared to LAX. Decent amount of food options to choose from in the Alaska and Southwest terminal.
