I just hit my 90 days sober with being a month out of treatment at CRTC and everyday I’m so grateful for my experience there. They have all kinds of different types of treatment to help you with getting and staying sober. The facility is super nice with great food but what makes the place truly amazing is the staff. There isn’t a person there that doesn’t put their whole heart into their job. A lot of the councilors are recovering addicts and know exactly what you are going through and have zero judgements. Tony is the best for humor and his education classes are unreal and the place wouldn’t be the same without Ernesto and his big heart and passion for the place. I miss all these people every day and hope I get to go back and VISIT some day. I highly recommend treatment here. You won’t regret it!

This place saved my life. Can’t say enough about the entire staff and services provided. Ernesto and Kathaya made me feel welcome and at home immediately, Fiorella my therapist was absolutely top notch (and I’ve been to my fair share of therapy) I learned more about my self in a couple sessions with her than years with other professionals. Last but not least is Tony, he makes this place, incredible wisdom and knows exactly what he’s doing. His classes are unbelievably helpful and he is F****** hilarious, I actually looked forward to them and was bummed on the weekends when he was off. Amazing price point for what it is, 10 stars. Food was great too. Thanks to everyone I will miss you all.

aaErnesto assured me when I told him my daughter would be a hand full,...........that in his exact words " we are all a hand full " and we can handle her............ wrong.... With all the doctors and top staff my wife and I were convinced after talking with Ernesto. We sought many places and were convinced they could help our baby girl. Money was not an option. We signed a contract for 3 months a plane fare to Cost Rico and a return flight to Texas. We reserved a flight to see our daughter after a month of being sober. We spoke with often with her saying no one is listening to me. I can't go outside...I can't go to the beach with an escort. It's like Im in prison. They changed her roommate and no one had the patience to deal with our daughter and her addiction. We cannot believe several doctors with degrees beyond our expectation told us they were sending her out to the street if we never got her an airfare home to the U.S. NO. I am writing this review in an attempt to help anyone listening to think twice before entrusting these people to your loved ones health. They let my daughter down and stole our money. God have mercy on these people for their disregard for human life.

Costa Rica Treatment Center saved my life. They introduced me to a new way of life that has changed my mindset completely. The facility itself is well maintained that makes it easy to relax and feel at home. The programs offered at this center were comprehensive, and it was clear that every aspect of care had been designed with the patient's needs in mind. The staff is wonderful and they are always open to listen to your cares and needs. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking help for addiction and alcoholism. I felt so hopeless before I arrived at CRTC. From the moment I walked in I got the help I needed. On arrival I met with a doctor and nurse to help me begin to safely detox, they made sure I was comfortable. The entire staff is compassionate, experienced and cares so much about helping the alcoholic/addict. The program is so thorough and includes personal care teams, case managers, individual, group and occupational therapy as well as education classes designed to treat addiction and trauma. Then there’s Yoga, sound healing, meditation, functional fitness and a gym to help restore the physical body. The weekly excursions included white water rafting, mineral springs, tours of plantations, waterfalls, hiking, forest bathing and so many others that helped restore my spirit and find joy and beauty in nature. Wonderful cooks prepare 3 good, healthy meals everyday and the food is delicious. The center is clean, the bedrooms are spacious, and your laundry is done weekly. All the details of living are taken care of so you can simply focus on recovery and getting well. I wholeheartedly recommend CRTC to anyone who wants freedom from alcohol and drugs. I’m so happy I chose CRTC when I needed help. It truly saved my life.

So today I stand at 6 months clean after a 90 day treatment at CRTC. I cant express the gratitude I feel at this moment for the staff and program at CRTC. I walked in after 20 years of abuse to my body and mind and without a hope of a future. Day in and day out the staff made me feel as a valued part of society even when I couldn't imagine such. It's really a blessing that I stand as strong as I do now in "real life" and I owe it all to them. With all the therapy, coaching, classes, and just love shown to me, I was able to re connect with the person I was before I started using substances, and push that person to be even better at this point. Truthfully I didn't think that person was around anymore, I felt I had lost that and I was to be an addict the rest of my time. The multitude of tools that are taught at the centre have brought me to where I am today. The staff has a true passion for what they do and care about each and every patient that walk in that door. If you want to change and reach for a new life then you just have to take what they show you and push each and everyday and I promise you, the sun will shine again. The program they have setup works beautifully. The multitude of therapy sessions, group classes, art therapy, alone time, family style dinners, and friday field trips each really bring about tools for the client to further themselves at the centre and for re entry to their life. I made some of the best friends I have made in my life while attending the program at CRTC and was shown such love to share with everyone. If you are struggling with anything substance related and are looking for an answer, dont hesitate to call CRTC. They are guaranteed to go out of their way to show you love and value for yourself and a new way to live. My hat goes off to the staff at CRTC, you truly are special people and I feel blessed to have shared the time I did with you.

CRTC is a pretty unique place. I felt very welcomed while I was adjusting to everything. It was my first time going to a place like this and immediately noticed the schedule. There were educative classes, sure... but then I noticed yoga and thought that's a pretty cool thing to have for everyone. Then Sound Healing. What the hell is sound healing?? Don't diss it before you try it, folks. It's magical. CRTC stood out to me because they have a professional team of amazing people who are great at what they do. The psychologists really listen and have such insightful things to say. I learned and healed a lot with my psychologist. My occupational therapist was amazing because she's well connected and knowledgeable about pretty much everything. And if I ever asked her something she wasn't sure about, she'd research and get back to me about it. My psychiatrist helped me a hell of a lot since she never assumed anything and actually listened to what I needed and got me set up right away. The team at CRTC really are special. They really care and they take their jobs seriously while still having wicked senses of humor. If there was ever an emergency they would literally go at it like a team of fire fighters putting out a forest fire. The place is a mix of scientific with a dash of holistic healing. There's meditation, yoga (like I mentioned before), Sound Healing (also mentioned before), classes and meetings. The chefs who work there are incredible and there was never a bad meal. The place felt like a home away from home because of how everyone treats each other. There's respect, understanding, and care. I'm happy to say I've made quite a few friendships with other clients who were there. An awesome thing CRTC does is take you on a nature trip every Friday. They plan the trips to coffee plantations, beaches, volcanoes, etc. Everyone there really gets to know each other and count on each other. I felt comfortable, heard/understood, and respected. The staff there has created an epic family and everyone stays connected. They check up on clients even after they leave. It's not a cold militant place. It's open and warm. I've learned so much from there and am super grateful to have met the people I did there. I was very well taken care of and got to meet and get to know a lot of amazing people. I'm truly grateful.
