A nicely set restaurant in a lovely area. After reading many positive reviews, we were expecting a brilliant meal. And to be fair, the food was good, just not great. Having ordered the rib eye, the meat was ordered medium and was cook to a perfect level. However, the meat just wasn’t that special, it lacked seasoning and was no better than a steak costing half as much a few km’s away. Service was not the best, having been attended too fairly quickly upon arrival, the service diminished promptly, whilst seated. For example, we quickly ran out of water and having to prompt the waiter for service becomes tiring quickly in addition payment seem to take ages. Perhaps we caught them on a poor day, however with a reputation such as theirs there so never be mediocre days.

Well, what can I say about this place. Honestly I visited this restaurant a week ago. I like to dine early so I choose to go there around 7 PM. Nevermind,I got some expectations because this steak house is well known as a top dining in Buenos Aires. Well..I'm afraid to say that it wasn't..service is poor and not really attentive.Our Waiter wasn't attentive at all . Appetizers were good, but the main course was not amazing at all. By means for a restaurant where the average of the cover charge is expensive and most of the guests who visit this restaurant are foreigners..well let me tell you that the entire experience is poor and mediocre. The assistant waiter ( a lady was the only smiling and service attitude) on the restaurant. No Manager around,beef dry and not flavor, not good ambience etc. Personally I don't recommend to visit this restaurant with expectations .

I-phone stolen - dinner - terrible steal by a kid. Please put this review on the top. Family of 3 members arrived there ~7PM, sitting outside at a table of the inner row closer to the wall. A man holding a little boy and a girl ~7yr appeared to beg money from the table close to the side walk. The girl entered into this dinning area and talked to me in Spanish which I did not understand. They got some food from a couple sitting in that table. My 14-yr daughter faced the side walk, and I faced to my daughter. My wife was sitting on my left hand side. We came from USA for a short visit and did not understand Spanish. We ordered our food and my daughter told me outside from the side walk there were people begging for money frequently. We finished our food and I asked for our bill. The waiter answered but did not bring it. My daughter would like to leave soon, so I went inside to pay my bill. AND importantly, I very likely left my cell phone on the table. The time from the receipt is 9:28PM. After we prepared for leaving, I realized that my cell phone disappeared! This is around 10PM. I could not find it around our table, I then went inside to double check the cashier. My daughter then told me that there was a boy ~6yr showed up to our table when I went inside to pay our bill. He came from a gap of bush fence, behind an old gentlemen, and came to our table, standing on the right-hand side of my chair, and put a t-shirt or jersey-like cloth on the table, which may be right over my cell phone, and looked at my daughter. Then my daughter shook her head. He quickly grab the cloth (possibly my cell phone) and left. When I checked my wife, she did not see anything unfortunately--maybe she focused on her own cell-phone doing something . During entire dinning, the waiter/waitress/manager did not point out any caution of such terrible skilled crimes! My cell phone is XR silver. I talked to the manager over an hour (with language barrier and waiting for police) and then spent hours in the police department to get a report. I am writing this review with my receipt here. All these efforts are meant to make a record and make a warning to future dinners. I do hope that the manager/the restaurant team can do something to get my cell phone back! If so, I would update my review.

I had an excellent time dining here. Service staff was very attentive, restaurant beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. I received a complimentary appetizer, requested ice for soda and received it right away, steak was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. Dessert (flan with and amazing side order of dulce de leche) and coffee were on the house for women on International Women’s Day. I would definitely recommend this here, keeping in mind that service might be slower than in the US but it just gives you more time to enjoy. As with other local restaurants, tips are cash only and cannot be included if paying with credit card.

Good value steakhouse. Not to be confused with Cabana Las Lilas which is also a steakhouse located right next door. Good grilled meats and attentive service. I found the value quite good for the quantity and quality of the meal I received. To be honest Cabana Las Lilas is a notch better but I found it to be considerably more expensive.

Nice ambience. Has our group lunch here. Food was alright... I didnt have any which captured my attention well enough, overall was just alright. Toilet was clean and nice tho.

Terrible restaurant, terrible service. It’s New Year’s Eve, I overpaid 160 USD for dinner and the food was more than an hour late! And it wasn’t that good. Do yourself a favor and find a better place, there is plenty in BA.

Not gonna lie, probably the best steak I've ever eaten in my entire life. Especially the Wagyu steaks are incredibly juicy, cooked perfectly to your desired doneness. They also offer Kobe meat, which is even more delicious, but also very expensive. I can also recommend the empanadas which are very fresh and can also be ordered with Wagyu meat. The service was also amazing, they cared a lot for the simplest things one asks for and are generally really friendly. The decoration and the overall look inside of the restaurant make for a classy but relaxed atmosphere that is awesome for long nights. They also offer a wide variety of different wines, even from France which works together perfectly with the meat. All in all, this was a one in a lifetime experience for me that I can only recommend.

This was a nice dinner spot! It's pricey, but worth it for a luxe dinner. The soufle potatoes are fantastic, as are the empanadas that come out as an opening course. The steak is tasty- just ask for salt. Staff is friendly, and they had fresh flowers, so the smell of lilies was strong throughout the restaurant. Don't order pasta- my husband was not happy with his.

This restaurant is pricey above the avg and above the ones in the same area. The food was good but not great. The service was terrible, unprofessional and untrained, in our case the manager really saved the date, but too late. For the prices they are charging and the target customer they pretend to have, they should really have better waitresses. The one we had last night was rude, untrained, and for a big group like ours (party of 18) not attentive at all.

The 1 star was given to the great designer of the restaurant! We wanted to try this place as it was just near another very good restaurant we have already been. First, the variety of wine is low with really high prices. We ordered ceaser salad and some empanadas as starter and it was very very bad. It tasted bad the same as it looked like. We didn't even eat it. We asked to cancel the meat we ordered, paid the check and left! Don't let the map confuse you, THERE IS ONLY 1 LA CABANA! Please do yourself a favor and find another place to eat!

From our experience was great. Yes, they work with reservations, but we were lucky enough to have a table for few people. Very high quality place, expensive and rich in atmosphere, menu, decor. We really liked the service and our waiter. Our steak was good. I don’t remember the other food we ordered because it was while ago, but I remember the desserts-Veryyy tasty.

Go only for the meat. The salads were stale and so tasteless. Spinach leaves were so coarse we couldn’t eat it. The wine selection is limited and overpriced. The restaurant was almost empty but that meant many servers took care of us.

Very average steak house and way over priced. Service was poor. Sides were not ready and came out half way through eating steak. The steak was chewy and overcooked. Not good for a 10000 peso steak.

We spent New Year’s Eve there and it was just the greatest way to end the year. The crew is very friendly and responsive, the food was great and the show was outstanding. A must for anyone who wants to have a quality dinner in Buenos Aires

I would give 5 for the overall food and nice décor but I have to downgrade for the price-value. Small details but when you pay premium price, attention to small things are necessary to justify the ticket price. Excellent meat and wine pairing. I had the special menu for 2 with wagyu and premium steaks. They were perfect upon arrival but served on a cast iron griddle and they continued to cook and quickly became well done, witch is almost a sin for that kind of meat quality, They were still very good despite turning well done but a better solution to maintain the temperature would be welcome. Not been able to obtain proper cracked pepper. The Service is made by multiple servers and it is inconsistent. Just a little more attention to details and it is a 5 stars.

Meat was barely good. Disappointed overall. Service good and ambiance very nice. But don’t come for the beef. Very pricey.

The food was delicious but the service was extremely slow. They should have warned us that it will take about an hour to get a steak. In addition, we ordered drinks/coffee several times as they kept forgetting the order. The very rude waiter complained about the small tip we left according to their service. There are many other steak restaurants in Puerto Madero that serve you the same quality of food and the service is up to the chain standards.

Have visited Argentina several times and have never had “provoleta” or “provoleta la cabana”. It was amazing!!!!!

La Cabaña is a lovely experience in Puerto Madero! It has lovely service and amazing meats and pasta. Very expensive but the views are worth it

I recently visited La Cabaña on a visit to Argentina. My wife and I had a great experience. She doesn't eat red meat so her options were limited but found something on the menu she liked very much. My steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fries were great too. This place has a nice view of the river and the surrounding river walk area.

This is a great steakhouse. The service was perfect and the food even better. Their steaks are one of the best I’ve had. The ambiance is also very nice. I sat outside facing the water and had a great experience.

Beautiful steak house with excellent food and service. Many steak restaurants in BA, if your trying to impress, this is the place.

The place is excellent and the meat was great. Happens to be eating there and Actor Johnny Deep was eating next to me. Wine selection was good!

The quality of meat and the prices are not correlating! The steak was tough to chew and dry! And it arrived cold at the table. But the service is very good, polite stuff, good wines. Maybe the other dishes are better

I had a dinner very late. Waiter was really nice. Apetizer was offered, and the meat was just wondeful, one of the best I got in Argentina. I ate too much so I could not try the dessert :p

Very nice place, amazing staff and beautiful hall, locations and everything! Even tho i didnt enjoy my meat much (dont think it was worth the price). Ill definately come back because i enjoyed the wine and the enviroment. As i said, the meat needs to get better, i ordered the baby beef (1000g) with grilled veggies and souffle potato ($1660). It was good, but really hard to chew. Although, everything else is perfect.

Very nice place. Come to relax. Slow good service. We came for lunch ones and for dinner today. First time my meat was cooked perfectly to med. my husband's overcooked. For dinner it was too bloody for me, my husband's is perfect. Beggars might come and pester you if you seat outside. Hope they take care of This. Or , I would never come back.

Great food and service. The portions are very large so share if you can. Kids are welcome but kids menu portions are the same size as adults. I would definitely recommend eating her. The steaks are excellent and the empenadas are great. They also give you a small started with your meal.
