We had a wonderful guide Lollie, very informative, friendly and we came away learning lots. The city is wonderful to walk around, but doing it with this tour you get to learn so much history that has shaped the people and the city. I would definitely recommend this tour company and they are very lucky to have such a wonderful guide working for them.

We joined the tour of the City Center of Buenos Aires this afternoon and it was nothing short of incredible. Our guide, Martín, had us captivated for the entire 3 hours. Not only did we learn a lot about the significance of key areas of the city, but he gave great advice about going about Buenos Aires/El Centro in general. I’m a resident of the city myself (my family is visiting from overseas) and the advice he gave to the group was the same as what I was taught by my porteño family when I first moved here. I highly recommend this tour and look forward to experiencing the others the company offers when entertaining loved ones coming from overseas for a visit. ………. We also joined the Recoleta & Retiro walking tour. The guide, Victoria, was excellent and provided detailed answers to all of the group’s questions. You’ll hardly believe 3 hours have gone by once you reach the end of the tour, but time flies when you’re having fun! That being said, we did appreciate the café/bathroom break halfway through the tour. Perfect chance to grab a to-go coffee and a few tasty medialunas.

One of the marks of a good storyteller is when one can tell how much the storyteller enjoys telling stories. Vito (our guide) was extraordinarily engaged, informative, and lovely to be around. Taking this tour is a no brainer in BA. Also, we took the Boca tour and Claudio was magnificently energetic and confident. Kudos and keep up the great work!!

Excellent walking tour. We took several. The one in Recoleta (first 3 photos) was sensational. The guide was a historian. Deep knowledge of the subjects. And also, stories and anecdotes that entertained. It is a long tour, 3.5 or 4 hours of walking, well worth it. Be prepared (shoes, water, hat). Then, we took the "San Telmo" tour (last 3 photos), with Claudio (amazing Guide), much shorter (2h), but very enjoyable, with nice Story about the defense against England, Mafalda and the San Telmo neighbourhood story.

The Free City Center tour was engaging and informative! Victoria was a fantastic guide and kept us engaged for the whole 2 hours! She also provided some 10/10 coffee recommendations! Highly recommend if you want to learn more about the city and its social and political history.

Our guide Victoria was informative, professional, communicated extremely clearly and had lots of interesting things to say about the city and country. It gave me great insight spending 3 1/2 hours on this walking tour. Highly recommend her and the free walking tours that she represents.

Wow! Thank you Ivan, our excellent guide who kept us spellbound for the full 3 hours on our Recoleta/Retiro walk with stories of love, money and power. Keeping us on the ball with questions and his good natured humour.

I did the Free Walk tour at the Boca area. The experience was just great. The guide was passionate about the history of the area and he gave us a great deal of details. He was also eager to answer all questions and always with a positive attitude and smiles. Just a great moment that I recommend.

Our family toured 3 different tours with guide Victoria (one of the English-speaking Argentina guides). Absolutely super! She is a history professor and a super guide. Without a doubt - the city walking tours as well the Recoloto cemetery tour are the top trips in the city!

We try to book free walking tours in almost every country we visit. It’s an amazing experience, that combines history, laughter and exercise. We were lucky enough to have Santiago as our guide. His passion for history, arts, music and sustainability are inspiring. La Boca is as charming as seen on the pictures and videos you see during research, however reality is better. Santiago answered all our questions. Definitely a tour to consider if visiting Buenos Aires.

Matias was the best. He is extremely passionate about his job. I enjoyed his tour very much. Also, he knows so much and he is willing to share and answer all the questions you have. He told us which Matias he was because there are 2 Matias. However, I misplaced the paper. It is the Matias who is Married and teaches sometimes at the University tourism.

It as amazing getting to know the historic moments in which all those beautiful places that we saw were involved. There was history, curiosities, tips and important details told by Mariano, our guide that day. Finishing at Recoleta was the cherry of the pie, because all the other places visited were great

We did the Recoleta and La Boca tours and they were both of the highest quality. The guides (Santiago & Mathias) were incredibly knowledgable and engaging. They focused on a range of interesting topics rather than just recalling historical dates, including social, political and cultural influences of the city. I would thoroughly recommend these tours to any tourists new to the city

We went on a city tour and our guide Martin was nothing short of exceptional. We learnt about the history of the city, it’s complex political system with an incredibly clear and passionate explanation of Peronism, the economic backdrop of the recent past together with current day problems and issues, an explanation of the disparity in exchange rates for travellers with prudent advice on how best to finance spending, the reality of life through the recent pandemic - the list goes on and this was before he passionately and brilliantly explained the history of landmark buildings together with sound advice for travellers on what to visit and the safety of the city. The intelligence, insight and passion that Martin brings to the tour is simply incredible and any visitor to Buenos Aires should, in my opinion, make this tour an absolute must. Bravo!

(Translated by Google) Personally I tend to be quite demanding, if I take a tour I look for accurate and well transmitted information. In today's case, we met Loli, who knew how to explain things in a dynamic way and no details were saved. In addition, I fervently believe that the story is political and she was able to explain the tensions by being respectful of all the group's identities. A very generous guide, who also, after the end of the tour, gave us minutes of his day to explain questions that had nothing to do with the tour, but rather doubts we had about how to manage in the city. Thank you Loli and I hope that your work will be valued as much as by those who visited, as by who your employers are.

We did a tour of La Boco with Santiago. He was excellent. So, enthusiastic about the neighbourhood, full of information and history. He really brought the area alive for us foreigners. Plus, tips on places to eat, safety and open to lots of questions during and after the tour. Plus, La Boca is just gorgeous so it was nice to have a guide to walk us to some of the lesser known places.

In the morning: excellent, very colourful, with a lot of information and sense of humour guide walk through La Boca, in this case with Claudio. It certainly deserved a generous tip. In the afternoon, another excellent, very colourful, with a lot of information guide walk through Recoleta's Cemetery including all the weird stories, in this case with Paloma. It also deserved a generous tip. It makes me mad that some people still simply profit from others work and quickly disappear at the end of the visit without giving a deserved compensation. I guess if it was their own work they would not be happy.

Did the St Telmo Subday Tour with Marianna. It was an excellent way to learn the history and see the sights of St Telmo before exploring the Sunday Market on our own. The tour finishes near Pllaza Dorrego where we could then see some tango outside. A great way to see St Telmo

Great Tour done with Santiago on Jan 2. His English is great to understand. He speaks loudly and well articulated so that you can follow his information securely in spite of the often many other tourists. He gave valuable information - enriched with personal annotations. Very catching. All in all: you will definitely "see" Buenos Aires through better "glasses" - sometimes even for the first time: differenciated and as part of a greater story. Despite of the many other people walking next to you on this walk -never in vain. I'd do it again.

My favourite free walking tour in South America. We loved Martin, he was a great guide that kept everyone laughing. Enjoy strolling through the streets of Buenos Aires. Stopping by some historical buildings, discussing famous figures, architecture, and cultural traditions. It’s not too long of a tour (2hr). But still bring water and sun protection. You don’t really sit down at any point or go to the bathroom.

Maru led my English speaking Recoleta tour and she was amazing. And all the more so because this wasn’t my first time in BsAs or Recoleta. I learned so much about so much - about the different communities and the history and how Buenos Aires is the city that it is, and she presented it in such an engaging way. She is warm and funny and knows so much! Be prepared for a workout with her! She walks fast! Part of the reason I chose this tour was because I wanted to learn and explore while being physical, so that was fantastic too!

I recommend 100% this experience. You can learn more about the city, the history of the country and its culture. There are tours in Spanish and English for each activity. Also, they wait 10 minutes to complete the group with people who arrive late. They wear ORANGE jackets and arevery kind.

This company offers a variety of walks all over the city, and all work on the “free tour but pay a tip at the end” concept. This works well as you have no commitment, and at the end you pay what you feel is fair for the guides time and effort. Martin was our guide, and there was around 30 people in our tour. The guide had a small speaker so there was no problem hearing the tour. Martín was born in BA and has spent his life studying and working in the city. He shared with us many personal stories of life under a series of governments , and life through the various cycles of economic crises. We also leant lots about the history of Argentina, and Martin taught us how to spot fake notes and how to be “smart” so that we don’t fall victim to crime. The tour lasted 3 hours and was fascinating. I can highly recommend the company and Martín.

La Boca is a fascinating place full of dazzling visuals and with a remarkable history. Our guide Santiago presented all that in a way that was informative and fascinating. His knowledge and his deep love and pride for his home neighborhood was apparent throughout and wonderful to witness. Altogether a high point of our visit to Buenos Aires. Diego and Jon-Ivan

Very informative, interesting and well run. We managed to do a couple of different walking tours with these guys in Buenos Aires, and all were great. The La Boca one is mandatory to pay, whereas the others are tip (which you should anyway, as it is totally worth the $10 or so). The walk lasts a couple of hours, is very safe and easy to join. They will divide the large group waiting at the beginning into different language groups, and give you a guide who speaks your language. A great way to see major landmarks and hear the history behind them and Buenos Aires in general. 5/5

Morning Free City Tour. Started off skeptical as the English speaking tour group was 75 people! (He mentioned that it was by far the biggest group he ever had.) But very quickly I was impressed with Juan and his ability to keep us all engaged. He had a speaker so was easy to hear him, and he made sure to find shady spots for us all to gather while he spoke. Juan and his clear and engaging commentary really made this tour outstanding. No unenthusiastic reciting of facts (which we’ve gotten on other free walking tours), he was super engaged and gave us a great history overview of the country and the city. Highly highly recommend! Tip: Lots of walking on this one. Wear comfortable shoes. There is a rest stop at noon for a coffee, empanada and bathroom. Ends right near the Cemetery in time to catch the cemetery tour (which btw is only on weekdays!)

We decided to join the Recoleta cemetery tour to learn the stories of the people buried there. Fantastic tours! We did three during our visit to Buenos Aires: La Boca, City Tour, and Recoleta. The guides were knowledgeable, entertaining and impassioned about the life and culture of Argentina. Despite temperatures in the 90s, my husband and I didn't want to miss a single minute of these three-hour tours. (I used to be a fan of the hop-on-hop-off buses, but these free walking tours are by far the better way to learn about the city.) Martin was the guide for the City Tour; he gave an excellent historical and political analysis. Santiago was the guide for La Boca; he was a true storyteller full of anecdotes that helped us understand this charming-by-day, dangerous-by-night neighborhood. Dominique gave the tour of Recoleta, and she was incredibly informative and interesting. This is a can't-miss experience in Buenos Aires.

Don't miss the La Boca tour with Maru. La Boca tour with Maru was by no doubt the highlight of our stay at Buenos Aires. The tour is very well planed. Maru's explanations about the city, its people, their background and their ongoing struggles are fascinating. She knows how to tell a story and how to bring history to life. Excellent tour and excellent guide.

Victoria was such an incredible and engaging tour guide. I was so interested throughout the entire tour and she made learning about another country’s history simple and fascinating! So lucky we had her as our guide through the Recoleta cemetery!

Martin was very enthusiastic and informative - had a lot of fun stories and interesting facts to share while we walked around the city. Also had a great list of recommendations for food and bars that you can request at the end! Would reccomend to anyone looking for a relaxed introduction to the city.

We did the Recoleta tour (03/03/20) which walks you through a very beautiful part of Buenos Aires. We loved it and strongly recommend it! Our guide Fernando is informative, fun and knowledgeable answering also to extra questions by the participants. One of the best

Excellent walking tour. My girlfriend and I were delighted with the quality of the city centre tour. We learned more on that tour than we had in the previous two weeks in Buenos Aires! (Much to our shame) Victoria was full of energy and had an answer for everything. She even provided me with book recommendations after the tour! I take a lot of free walking tours and they can be hit or miss but this was a great one.

The center with Maru a great start to get to know the city and its history, very measured and very adequate in all explanations. I couldn't say a bad thing. Thanks guys. City centre free walking tour with Fernando was amazing. So much information and history as we walked around the main sights of the city. Saw all we wanted and came away with more. The following day we were escorted through Recoleta cemetery with Victoria. She was also full of information and stories and helpful. A challenging tour with crowds of people but worth every minute and peso. Definitely recommend this company.

Took the Recoleta cemetery and city centre tour, both with the same guide, Victoria. She was wonderful, very informative, interesting, she didn't stick to just facts but also told us a lot of local legends. Both tours were great, very well organised, not to be missed.

😠 The truth is, an extremely mediocre, terrible service, we had time to return at 12:15 from Buenos Aires to Colonia and the ship left at 1:30 p.m. After an hour the ship left, a disaster, a joke for what the ticket is worth, I almost lost a Colonia-Montevideo bus that had bought the ticket in advance...

👍👍 I was encouraged to sign up for the tour from a very nice lady during the free walking city center tour, the previous day. I haven't been on a bike in over 20 years and never did a biking tour ever. I am not the most active person. I need to do better. So I participated in the 18 km biking tour. Mar...
