Recommend this Place. It's clean, has Thai style wooden interior, very nice. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Everything you need is not far away. Price also good. Thank you.

The best thing about this quaint little hotel is the amazingly friendly staff. Very kind and helpful. The next best thing is, it is situated in a very nice part of Chiang Mai with a lot to do close by. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is the bathroom facilities are a little disappointing and the WiFi was pretty spotty. Overall, a cute place situated very nicely.

I agree with all the 5-star reviews - charming place, great location, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent service etc. BUT the highly polished floor together and their no-shoe policy result in what will be considered a safety hazard in other countries. I find myself having to hold on to the stair railings whenever I descended the stairs for fear of slipping and falling. Therefore despite all its virtues, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this place, especially for families with young children or the elderly.

Comfortable small hotel with great staff. Aum and Yo were very kind and helpful. 15 minute waşk to main shopping & restaurant areas. Beds very comfortable. Good laundry service. Good aircon in room. One or two little complaints. No shelf in bathroom to put toiletries. Bath towels looked tired and internet very slow.....Apart from those 3 little things, great place to stay.

Amazing little cosy Boutique! Excellent service and great clean rooms! We even got a free upgrade to the superior room. The only downside is that there is no elevator in the Boutique. But the lovely people would help you with your luggage.

Decent budget, clean hotel. Very friendly & helpful reception. I saw the lady reception send the tourist to another nearby hotel with bike, as the tourist booked wrongly.

From Brisbane Australia & am staying here for 5 nights. Very old style little hotel, very clean big rooms, comfortable bed, shower great, television is good also, staff so nice & helpful speak good English. The only downside is no breakfast available can get coffee etc, a little bit outside city centre but approx 2 klm walk will get you there. The price is also good for a superior room 550 baht per night. Would recommend to my friends. Thank to the staff. Cheers Noel

Place is in a nice position to reach most of Chiang Mai sightseeings. The staff was kind and welcoming, although late afternoon/evening staff did not understand English. We got a basic room, which was of modest dimension, bust still functional. Only downside is that you can hear everything from other nearby rooms and from people walking past your door.

I highlt recommend Rustic River Boutique for short stays. The staff is friendly and capable. Rooms are clean and cozy. Both ground floor and upstairs rooms available. Day time front desk person went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. When I checked out, she even arranged a driver for a fixed rate.

Clean room and pretty comfortable. Decorated in Thai Lanna style, mostly with wood. Nice breakfast and the location is close to markets. Has no parking space but you can park on the other property nearby. At night there was a cooking smell coming into my room thru air conditioner. Overall, this is a fine place with reasonable price to stay.

We loved our stay at the Rustic River Boutique. The staff were very friendly and eager to help with any plans you needed help with and to show you how to get around. The room was very nice with wood touches throughout. The bed was a little soft for me but my wife loved it. The hotel itself is perfectly located with the night bazaar, old city and Sunday market all within easy walking distance. Breakfast was nice with several western and Asian options and always served hot. The WiFi was choppy at times and they never refilled the instant coffee in the room after we used the first two provided. Other than those minor complaints, you can't go wrong here.

A great location just on the edge of Old Town so it's pretty peaceful. The room was comfortable with AC over the bed, and a nice bathroom. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. They did not give me back my key deposit, though I neglected to ask for it. Edit: They reached out promptly about the deposit, no bad intentions, just some quirks to checking out before reception is open.

Lovely room and boutique hotel. I loved the wood and Thai style. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I would have easily given 5 stars, but I'm a coffee lover and breakfast comes with instant coffee. There is a great coffee shop beside the hotel to purchase coffee, but its hours do not always align with breakfast. Maybe a french press on hand and some ground coffee. A 5 for sure!

Quaint little hotel just outside of old town. It is a short walk into the city or across the river to numerous good restaurants. I had a nice large room on the third floor. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel uses padlocks on doors which inevitably get banged and clunked as guests come and go. Not an issue at all but if you are extremely sensitive to noise you can often hear your neighbors as they secure their room. I think that also shows how peaceful and quiet the hotel is; that this was the loudest thing you can hear. The whole interior is beautiful hardwood flooring, and you do not wear shoes inside. Rooms could be as high as the third floor up polished wood steps, so if you have trouble climbing stairs, this hotel is not for you. Breakfast is served in a beautiful open air lobby and there is always coffee or beer for purchase as well. I left an item in my room and the staff went way out of their way to reach out to me and get the item back to me. I really appreciate their attention to their guests that this showed.
