Perfect spot for a traditional Chiang Mai lunch! This place offers a diverse menu that is hard to find elsewhere. Keep in mind that it can be a bit far if you don't have a car, but it is definitely worth it.

Really delicious Northern Thai food in a restaurant that really embraces the Thai culture and architecture. Everything that I ate was quite good. However, I didn't like that we had to eat with bowls instead of plates because that made it quite difficult to separate the food and eat. The portion sizes are quite small, so it allows you to try a variety of dishes. But I think the prices are too high for these small dishes. The fresh coconut and its juice is really sweet and fresh. The service wasn't very attentive, but that was probably because there were quite a lot of customers. The food still came out pretty quickly and all at once though! I definitely recommend this restaurant, but it is quite a long drive away from the city center.

This is a nice restaurant with lots of seating options (inside or outside). It looks more like a traditional house rather than a restaurant. When I went there for lunch, the inside tables were almost occupied. The northern Thai food was authentic and delicious. You may need to spend some time to select the food you want as there a plenty to select on the menu. Although it was a busy time, there were sufficient personal to look after the guests. They also have a kind of a small market within the restaurant premises where you can purchase various food items. They also offer freshly (cold) pressed fruit juices and smoothies. I had an avocado smoothie and it was great.

One of the best local northern food in Chiangmai. Good atmosphere among the old northern wood style house. Variety of menu for selection, recommend all northern menu. Clean and friendly staffs. Fresh vegetables is self served. Many of seats. Open only lunch time. Price was so cheap. Herbal drinks is recommended. Small local market inside. Must try.

Best Northern cuisine I would say. Little far away from city center but really worth it. Plan your time as it closes at 4pm. Highly recommended. I would say there is no MSG unlike other city-center Northern restaurants

Incredible northern Thai food. Absolutely one the best places to eat in Chiang Mai if you want legit local food. Plus it doubles up as a beautiful art gallery.

This place would have gotten five star if they asked us if we wanted our fried rice less hot. It was so hot, I could feel it the next day as well. Otherwise, other dishes were great, providing adventure for my taste pallet.

Tasty, reasonable price and worthy Northern food in Chiang Mai First time here many years ago and visit every time I came here. Their food really suit my taste, I like spicy food. My recommendation are: - Larb Kua (spicy pork salad) - my all time fav northern food spicy of spice and savory. - Ong poo (Crab paste) - savory eat with sticky rice is superb. - Grilled fish spicy paste - kinda like Nam prik nhoom but had smoky of grilled fish and spicy - Grilled pork intestines - tender but chewy and smoky. The vibe is like eating at friends home, cozy but shady and cool I personally think this is the best Northern food restaurant in Chiangmai A bit far from center but really worth to driving here, plenty of parking lots

I can't think of a better place to get some traditional northern food. Killer menu, great atmosphere (be it a little hot), and attentive staff. Don't sleep on anything, each dish is small and perfect for sharing.
