It is a small waterfall not far from the village. I am glad I went after it had been raining otherwise I think it may have been disappointing. There are a few large trees that are protected from being cut down. A shame that the bush was littered with many big bags of garbage. I think many people go here to drink beer. It was pleasant enough to spend a short time here. I did not climb to the top as the stairs were very slippery.

What a wonderful place ! If you’re looking for a refreshing adventure this is the place to go ! Lots of waterfalls which you can climb on easily, a lot of space to chill and cool air

Beautiful spot. Easy to get to on motorcycle or get a lift from a local taxi for 20 baht from the village. The waterfall itself goes up another 300m or so via the stairs on the left. BYO towel and swimmers for a cool off when you get back to the bottom. The stairs seem to on for ever and when you think there can't be any more... there are. I can imagine this would be pretty spectacular in the wet season and somewhat less accessible.

It has clear and cool water with the sound of waterfalls. You should come in early morning. I didn’t climb up to the top level because of the slippery stairs.

This is a beautiful waterfall that is worth visiting if you are in Mae Kampong. Entry is free. Parking is very limited, but the remote location means that it is seldom super crowded. There is a challenging stairway (be careful it is slippery) up the various levels that is worth checking out.

I was surprised to see there are many levels of waterfalls as I was climbing up the steps. Some of the steps are steep and slippery. I only wore a slipper and it was not designed to climb on those surface. So, I decided to give up half way before reaching the top for personal safety reason. I will come back next time with proper footwear. There are some yellow signs there warning the tourists on the potential danger of the climb.

Small but natural waterfall in Mae Kampong. Must visit if you love nature. It is pretty humid and hot with the steps though

A simple waterfall. There is nothing much at the top.

This is free to enter and a short drive up the hill from Mae Kampong Village. You can pay drivers to take you to this waterfall. The waterfall has several levels to it and is very beautiful and the water is crystal clear. It is a steep climb to the top though. Check out my video on my TikTok TTSWThailand and soon I will put something up on my YouTube The Travelling Social Worker in Thailand

Nice waterfall to stop by and take a photo. There’s a stair to walk up there. You can sit and enjoy the nature since first step in. There’s also small creek for kids to have fun.

Beautiful place to come and visit. So much cooler up here in the mountains. Very nice water fall to trek up the side of. My young son likes playing in the fjord at the bottom. The village is lovely, very quaint, must try the northern Thai sausage. The royal project is worth visiti g go down to the riverbank.

So peaceful, there's a structure built there so you can sit in shelter if it's raining, you get to listen to the waterfall and relax, the only downside is it can make you feel like you need to pee 🤣

It is very nice. I like the sound if running water. It's like a lullaby. The weather is aldo cool. I feel there is less pm 2.5 in the air.

Though it's not the most beautiful waterfall, but it is still very cool and fresh at that place. One of the good places to spend time with the nature here. Visited in February 2023

Has a climb of around 30-60minuts depending on the speed. Not very crowded. A tourist place. Clean water, but not a big waterfall. Just a small stream of water. Can see distant views if you climb to the top. No place to swim/bath. Free entrance. Has small nice shops in the starting point at the bottom of the village.

Wonderful place to get your heartbeat up, there may be 5-7 floors which i could go up only to the 3rd level. Prepare your sneakers.

Small waterfall, short walk from entrance. You may make a trail to higher spot if no rain.

The place is known for its Village in the mountain, and a nearby Waterfall. Relative to my travel, the village is rundown, climate is not particularly pleasing (Feb2021), the forest is far from green and mighty, and the waterfall is quite small in fact, and with man made barrier to make a pond. I was told this is a popular place for locals, but afraid I do not find it attractive (let alone staying a night).

Went there on a rainy weekday when there were fewer people. Rain stopped when we arrived and the atmosphere was amazing.

Very relaxing amazing place, I will definitely be going back if I get a chance. Also it was not crowded, the waterfalls are epic on three levels, I had something to enjoy in each level. The steps make the trekking much easier. I would say that about sandals and any boots and get some water shoes or snickers coz some places are slippery.

👍👍 We got up at 430am to see the sunrise, and it was amazing with rain storms moving over the mountains. It rained heavily, and we loved it. Mae Kampong Village is a must-see place.
